COFFEE PLANT - LOW Brownie Filter 800 g

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 17.08.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Brazil, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of chocolate, cocoa and nuts.Country: BrazilRegion: Cerrado/Sul de MinasFarm: Rancho GrandeVarietal: Mundo Nuovo, Acaia, Yellow Bourbon, Processing: Natural CO2/NaturalAltitude: 950 - 1050 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEIn the package, you will find two coffees from Brazil, processed using the natural method: decaffeinated Mundo Novo from the Cerrado region and a caffeinated blend of Mundo Novo, Acaia, and Yellow Bourbon from the Rancho Grande farm in Sul de Minas. The dry, sunny conditions of Cerrado favor a clean, chocolate-forward profile with pronounced sweetness, while the slower drying on raised beds in the more humid microclimate of Rancho Grande creates greater complexity with notes of nuts and dried fruits. After import to Europe, some of the beans were decaffeinated using the supercritical CO₂ method, which effectively reduces caffeine with minimal impact on aroma and structure, allowing LOW Brownie to retain its full, balanced character. In the cup, chocolate and nuts dominate, with a delicate hint of dried fruits, high sweetness, medium body, low acidity, and a long, chocolate finish. We also verified the caffeine level in the final brew prepared according to the standardized V60 recipe. In 250 g of brewed coffee, we measured 54.4 mg of caffeine. Compared to the same coffee in its fully caffeinated version, this represents a real reduction of about 70% in caffeine content in the brewed coffee.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee has a consistent chocolate-nut character, enriched with a subtle hint of dried fruits that gently highlight the flavor, reminiscent of classic brownies. It is distinguished by pronounced sweetness, medium fullness, very low acidity, and aromas of cocoa and chocolate. The whole is completed by a long, chocolate finish and excellent balance. This is how LOW Brownie – our reduced-caffeine coffee – presents itself.Store in a cold and dry space.

It brings a tear to the eye! Willy is a great guy, full of passion, faith, and energy for testing new farming methods. This season, we have two coffees from him from two different lots of his farm: Murundo comes first, and we have Mahembe up our sleeve for you.Willy experimented here with anaerobic fermentation. What is this "anaerobic" thing anyway? In this process, coffee ferments in an oxygen-free environment – in this case, it lasted for 72 hours. Prolonged fermentation adds a lot of sweetness and a characteristic "funk" to the coffee. It's easy to overdo the latter, but Willy keeps an eye on everything, so you won't find any aggressive, lemony, or vinegary notes in the cup. The coffee is clean, elegant, and leaves a very long, pleasant finish!Store in a cool, dry place.

The elegant complexity we have always loved in Sundrop appears in notes of black tea and lemon.ABOUT THE FARMDaterra are pioneers in their field: committed to pushing the boundaries in coffee production, with a dedicated approach to both quality and sustainability. They were the first Rainforest Alliance certified coffee farm in Brazil and together we have embarked on a Tree Planting programme to help mitigate the effects of climate change. Today, Daterra is officially climate positive and continues to experiment in both farming and processing.ABOUT THE PROCESSAlways looking to innovate, for this coffee Daterra uses an adaptation of the natural processing method that makes use of the dry season in Brazil. This lot undergoes a unique process, which begins at the peak of the season when the cherries are full of honey-like moisture. Rather than immediately harvesting mature cherries, cherries are dried while still attached to the branch. Dry conditions at the time of harvest mean that fungus or other defects can be avoided. This multi-stage processing is typical of the care Daterra takes at every step of production and the result is an elegant and sweet coffee with low acidity.ROASTER'S OPINIONThe sweet taste of Sundrop, from our innovative friends at Daterra. Coffees from Daterra always offer something a little special and Sundrop is no different. When fully ripe, the cherries for this lot are left on the tree, slowly drying under the Brazilian sun. With meticulous control, the Daterra team is able to create a profile with a uniquely sweet character.Store in a cold and dry space.

COFFEELAB - Ethiopia Sidamo Buncho Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEELAB

Roasting date: 05.10.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted in Warsaw by CoffeeLab. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of apricot sirup, papaya and yellow plum.Origin: EthiopiaRegion: SidamoVariety: HeirloomProcessing: NaturalAltitude: 1600–1800 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEWhat won us over in this Ethiopian natural was its texture: sticky yet light. The flavour goes in all sorts of fruity directions. It is exactly like reaching into a bag and pulling out a handful of colourful fruit gummies. Sweet, juicy and slightly tangy, enough to get your mouth watering. This coffee feels a little like the turn of summer into autumn. Summer is still hanging around, but you can already feel that autumn is just around the corner. The flavour works in a similar way. This is a natural, so there is no shortage of sweetness, but instead of heading towards heavy, dark berry notes, it stays bright, light and incredibly easy to drink. We described the profile as apricot syrup, papaya and yellow plums: plenty of bright, expressive fruit! The coffee comes from around Shantawene in the Bensa district of the Sidama region. It is processed at Buncho Station, whose name simply means “coffee tree” in the Sidama language. Established in 2018, the station receives cherries from small-scale producers in nearby villages. For the natural process, ripe cherries are sorted and then dried whole on raised African beds. At Buncho, this usually takes 14 to 16 days. The result is plenty of fruity sweetness and that characteristic sticky texture, but without any heaviness.Store in a cold and dry space.

Some 75% of all coffee produced in the world comes from Brazil, the vast majority being commercial grand blends from around the region. In the world of speciality coffee, we have to deal with those as well. That's why we created the Antidote, a coffee that is an antidote to the flood of santos, cerrados, and other coffees, that are far from transparent and demonstrating the producer's role in the whole process. This is for fans of the classics who do not let go of quality. For those who value true fair trade. The first classic brazil in our range!Specialty quality bean coffee, roasted at Heresy roastery by the 2020 Roasting Runner-up. We have been working with them since the very beginning of Heresy, presenting fruity microlots like Taquaral, Campo Alegre and Samambaia. This time it's time for the classic product of their work!ROASTER'S COMMENTIn the cup as classically as possible. Acidity practically invisible, shadow work. Chocolate and nuts in the liquid form. You know what I mean!PACKAGINGThe coffee is packed in a brown jar made of PET, 100% recyclable or reusable. In case you're thinking "oh no, plastic!", bear in mind that standard coffee packaging is also made of plastic (and a few other materials, making it often harder to recycle). We also thought about glass, but it's heavier, more expensive, breakable and, wait for it, has the same or greater (sic!) environmental impact! A plastic jar turns out to be pretty eco-friendly, just remember to put it in the right container, or find a creative way to reuse it at home.Store in a cold and dry space.

It is created in cooperation with Gemechu Shonora and local producers, from whom we have been ordering coffee since 2024. We recommend it primarily for filter brewing methods, where its complexity and delicacy are most pronounced. The coffee comes from the Oromia, Guji region in Ethiopia and was produced by Gemechu Shonora in cooperation with around 500 smallholder farmers. The crops are situated at an altitude of 1900 to 2200 meters above sea level, and the dominant varieties are Kurume and other local varieties characteristic of this region. The name Harruu Bunnaqaa originates from the Oromo language. "Harruu" means a large shade tree, under which Oromo community meetings traditionally took place, while "Bunnaqaa" is related to sharing coffee. Harruu Bunnaqaa is also a historical site in Guji, where local Oromo leaders would meet to jointly celebrate peace, blessings, and coffee.Coffees from this area stand out for their exceptional complexity and aromatic intensity, resulting primarily from the high altitude of the crops and very fertile soils. The sensory profile frequently features herbal, floral, and spicy notes, along with fresh accents reminiscent of hops or citrus. This lot offers a flavor profile with notes of blueberry, vanilla, and lemongrass, with a distinct, crisp texture. This coffee performs particularly well in filter brewing methods.Store in a dry and cool place.

Founded in the 1960s on land that previously housed four smaller farms established by German settlers in the 1930s and 1940s, the farm has witnessed a significant evolution in coffee production. In 2007, Leon Christianakis, a third-generation farmer whose family emigrated from Greece in the early 20th century, partnered with Mark Stell, founder of Portland Coffee Roasters, to acquire and revitalize Acacia Hills with a focus on specialty coffee production. Leon introduced innovative practices such as soil testing, shade management and meticulous processing methods to elevate the quality of the coffee produced. The farm has also pioneered the organization of cupping events such as "Cupping at the Crater," which have helped put Tanzania on the specialty coffee map. In addition, Acacia Hills is committed to sustainable development and collaboration with local communities, including the construction of a new dry mill in Karatu to support smallholder farmers in the region.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGRipe cherries are harvested by hand and undergo open fermentation for 12 to 13 hours. They are then washed and sorted to separate the highest quality berries. Drying takes place on raised African beds for 13 to 16 days, depending on climatic conditions, until a moisture content of 12% is reached. This meticulous process brings out the distinctive characteristics of the Gesha variety, delivering a clean, balanced cup that reflects Acacia Hills' commitment to excellence and sustainability.Store in a dry and cool place.
