The scale is easily operated via touch buttons. The Hario Polaris is equipped with a water measurement indicator based on set proportions. Operation is simple: set the desired coffee-to-water ratio, add the coffee, and the indicator shows the amount of water needed. Additionally, a percentage indicator shows how much of the required water has already been added. The Hario Polaris has three modes of operation: - manual, where the timer is started manually, - automatic, where the timer starts automatically when pouring begins, - automatic + pouring indicator based on set proportions.
