Hard Beans - Colombia Los Lagos Gesha Taza Platino #1 Filter 200 g

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 27.04.2026

Specialty-grade whole-bean coffee from Colombia, roasted by the Polish roastery Hard Beans. Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of red fruits, apple, flowers and strawberry.Origin: ColombiaRegion: Pitalito, HuilaFarm: Los LagosProcessing method: Washed (fermented)Variety: GeshaAltitude: 1850 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMLos Lagos is located in Colombia, in the Huila region, in the municipality of Pitalito, in the village of Filo de Chillurco, at an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level. The farm covers 6 hectares, 5 of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation, and the trees in this lot are around four years old.The farm is managed by Vladimir and his family, and the entire process, from harvesting to drying, takes place on-site and under their direct supervision. The harvest season runs from April to December and is based on selective hand-picking to maintain consistent quality and uniformity of the cherries.ABOUT THE COFFEEGesha is a variety strongly associated with exceptional quality and a very high sensory potential when grown at high altitudes. It is also a low-yield variety, which means that even with high demand, it remains genuinely limited on the market. For years it has consistently won the most prestigious coffee competitions and achieved record-breaking results at international auctions. This lot is processed using a washed method with extended, controlled fermentation. The harvest is done manually and selectively, in cycles roughly every 20 days, using only fully ripe cherries. After harvesting, the cherries ferment in bags for about 12 hours. They are then transferred to a hopper, where the initial oxidation stage is completed. The coffee then undergoes flotation, followed by depulping and an extended fermentation of approximately 200 hours in tanks or vats. After fermentation, the coffee is washed using either a portable washing unit or an Ecomill system. It is then dried on raised beds for 15–17 days and stabilized in GrainPro bags for 10–15 days. The final step is careful sorting to remove defects and ensure the highest physical quality of the beans.ROYAL BEANSWhat’s behind the name Royal Beans? Hard Beans - Colombia San Gabriel Bourbon Sidra Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 16.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia, roasted by Hard Beans from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the notes of cherry, blackberry and honey.Origin: ColombiaRegion: Palestina, Huila Variety: Bourbon SidraFarm: San GabrielProcessing: Natural Altitude: 1710 m n.p.m.ABOUT THE FARMSan Gabriel Farm is a family-owned coffee plantation with over 50 years of tradition, currently managed by the third generation. Around a decade ago, with the aim of participating in the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition, the farm began experimenting with varieties other than those traditionally grown in the region. For the past seven years, the farm has actively participated in this competition, achieving significant success, including second place in 2021. Don Linarco has been involved in coffee cultivation since his youth, working on the family farm. In 2014, after inheriting the land, he started his independent journey as a coffee producer. With great passion, he developed his skills across the entire production process, from sensory assessment (cupping) to coffee processing methods. Today, Don Linarco produces coffee using various techniques while also managing other farms.ABOUT THE VARIETYBourbon Sidra is an exceptional coffee variety, being a hybrid of two esteemed lineages: Bourbon and Typica (or according to some sources, Gesha). It is most commonly cultivated in Ecuador and Colombia. It is characterized by a complex flavor profile, where one can often find notes of tropical fruits, citrus, and florals, complemented by a delicate sweetness. The whole profile is completed by a bright, vibrant acidity and a clean finish. Due to its uniqueness and rarity on the market, this variety is frequently used in barista competitions.THE PROCESS The coffee cherries are hand-picked and carefully selected. They are then subjected to a washing process, during which floating cherries are removed from the surface of the water. The next stage is a 90-hour fermentation in hermetically sealed barrels. After fermentation, the cherries are dried under cover for about 28 days, and the final stabilization lasts for 15 days.A coffee for explorers. Lightly roasted, with dark fruits in the aroma. Blackberries, sweet cherries. All of this bathed in honey. Hard Beans - Kenya Kii AA Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 26.08.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted by Hard Beans from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the notes of black currants, black cherry, plum and raspberry.Origin: KenyaRegion: KirinyagaVariety: SL28, SL34, BatianFarm: Kii Coffee FactoryProcessing: NaturalAltitude: 1600 – 1800 m n.p.m.ABOUT THE FARMKii Coffee Factory operates in the Kirinyaga region, at the foot of Mount Kenya. It is one of three stations belonging to the Rungeto Farmers’ Cooperative Society, alongside Karimikui and Kiangoi.Approximately 850 smallholders deliver cherries to Kii. The average farm size is around 0.5 ha, meaning production relies on a large number of small family farms. Coffee grows here alongside avocado, macadamia, and banana trees, and farmers also cultivate crops for their own consumption on the same plots, including beans and potatoes.Rungeto has been working with producers for years on agronomy and the quality of delivered cherries. Kii is also among the stations with high farmer loyalty, which has a very practical significance: good cherries are regularly delivered to the same station, rather than being sold wherever a better price happens to appear.ABOUT THE VARIETALThis lot contains SL28, SL34, and Batian. This is a set very characteristic of modern coffee production in Kenya.SL28 and SL34 are strongly tied to the history of the Kenyan coffee sector. Both selections were introduced in the 20th century and remain an important part of cultivation in central Kenya to this day. They yield good results at high altitudes, but are also susceptible to certain coffee diseases.Batian is a much younger varietal. It was introduced in Kenya in 2010 as a response to issues with Coffee Berry Disease and coffee leaf rust. Its goal was to combine strong quality potential with higher resistance and better productivity. The name of this coffee also includes "AA". This is neither a varietal nor a taste grade. AA is the Kenyan designation for bean size—it applies to the largest fraction separated during sorting.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThis is where this lot deviates most from what Kii is usually associated with. The station's standard production is based on washed processing. Cherries are sorted, depulped, fermented, washed, and then the parchment is dried on raised beds. This lot was prepared as Natural. In this method, the bean dries inside the whole fruit. The skin and pulp remain on the seed for a significant portion of the drying process and are removed only later. This is a completely different way of processing than the classic Kii washed. That is precisely what makes this coffee interesting. Not because Natural in itself is rare—in Brazil or Ethiopia, it is a standard part of production. In Kenya, the situation is different. There, washed processing has been the standard for high-quality coffees for decades, and naturals still account for a small fraction of the market.RECIPERatio: 60 g coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: mediumBrew time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour water over the coffee in 5 equal pours (e.g., 5x 60 g) at 30-second intervals. The water should completely draw down through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust your grind size coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a dry and cool place.

Specialty-grade whole bean coffee from Costa Rica, roasted by the Warsaw-based roastery HAYB. Light roast, ideal for filter coffee makers, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other alternative brewing methods. The flavor profile features notes of forest fruits, blackberry and clementine.Country of origin: Costa RicaRegion: BruncaVariety:  Villa SarchiProcessing method: Natural ReposadoCupping score: 87 / 100Growing altitude: 1800-2000 m a.s.l.Rested in the coldCosta Rica in a version we love – a real gem from Corazón de Jesús, specifically from the Los Tonos plot. Behind this project is Johnny Alvarado Abarca, who cultivates coffee in the Brunca region. In this bag, you will find the Villa Sarchi variety, a local mutation of Bourbon known for its elegant acidity and powerful sweetness. The experience is enhanced by the Natural Reposado process – the cherries "rest" in the cold for some time before drying, allowing the sugars from the pulp to maximally penetrate the bean. Thanks to this, the Los Tonos plot offers an incredibly syrupy body and notes of ripe red fruits, while maintaining exemplary brew clarity. It is the perfect balance between a modern approach to fermentation and classic, fruity drinkability that will work great in your drippers.Store in a cold and dry space.

HAYB - Costa Rica Hellen Mora Natural Espresso 250 g

Roasting date: 03.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica roasted at HAYB. Medium roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots.  In the cup, you can expect blueberries, red wine and milk chocolate.Origin: Costa RicaRegion: TarrazuVariety: GeishaProcessing: NaturalAltitude: 1800-1900 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 88 / 100Trip to Costa RicaThis is what direct trade means to me. We’ve been working with Hellen for three years now, thanks to Nicolas, who exports coffees from Costa Rica. Last year I had the pleasure of driving up the most winding and bumpy road to the top of a mountain where Hellen’s house and farm are located. We got there in a car Nico had borrowed from his mom, because his had broken down the day before. At some point his mom’s little SUV simply couldn’t make it any further, so Hellen drove down in her big pickup truck and towed us the rest of the way up.First she fed us, then she showed us the farm and told us its story. After the walk she prepared a cupping where she presented eight of her coffees. A cupping in the kitchen while rice and beans are cooking right next to you? Why not.The coffees were phenomenal. And that Geisha? That’s the coffee that’s been appearing in my dreams ever since I came back from Costa Rica. Lots of tropical fruit, but without the kind of fermentation often associated with coffees from this country. Notes of banana and pineapple, plenty of red, sweet wine, currants, and everything beautifully structured and right where it should be.I’m very happy that we’re also presenting such an exceptional coffee as an espresso. It’s the essence of that trip in a cup: sweetness, tropical fruit, bright acidity supported by deep sweetness. One of the warmest memories from that journey returns every time we roast and brew this coffee. I invite you to join me on this trip.ROYAL BEANSWhat’s behind the name Royal Beans? HAYB - Costa Rica Hellen Mora Natural Espresso 250 g

Manufacturer: HAYB

Roasting date: 03.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica roasted at HAYB. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots.  In the cup, you can expect hints of milk chocolate, dried fig and raspberry.Country of origin: Costa RicaRegion: TarrazuVariety: CaturraProcessing method: NaturalCupping score: 87 / 100Altitude: 1800-1900 m a.s.l.Natural revolutionYou have already had the opportunity to try a Geisha roasted for espresso from this female farmer – now it is time for Caturra. A sweet shot with notes of milk chocolate, but also plenty of flavor reminiscent of figs and raspberries. Although Caturra was born in Brazil, it made a real career in Colombia, and later precisely in Costa Rica. According to World Coffee Research and Perfect Daily Grind, it is an absolute classic and a benchmark against which other modern botanical varieties are evaluated. What is worth knowing about it?Compact growth: Caturra possesses a dwarfism gene. The shrubs are short and stocky, which allows farmers to plant them more densely and makes harvesting the cherries much easier.A demanding patient: The price for high yield is poor health. Caturra is extremely susceptible to coffee leaf rust (roya) and pests, meaning it requires a great deal of attention, knowledge, and care from the farmer.Cup profile: Grown at the right altitude, it rewards you with brilliant quality. Expect a multi-dimensional, vibrant, and clean citric acidity, a medium body, and a distinct sweetness with notes of chocolate, caramel, and juicy fruits. No genetic modifications in a laboratory – a pure, natural revolution that changed the map of the specialty coffee world. Enjoy!Store in a cold and dry space.

The brew resembles the flavour of red wine, tropical fruits, fermented notes,  blueberries and chocolate.Origin: ColombiaRegion: CaucaFarm: Las VillasProcessing: Mossto + wine barrel naturalAltitude: 1800 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 88 / 100ABOUT THE FARM AND THE PRODUCEROne of several boutique farms owned by Banexport—an institution from the Cauca region focused on continuous innovation, with which we are collaborating for the second season. Las Villas was established in 2012 and, like its sister plantations, is managed in an incredibly professional manner. The farm combines coffee cultivation with care for biodiversity, creating a system where a healthy ecosystem helps maintain high and repeatable coffee bean quality. Coffee trees are regularly weeded and pruned, and damaged cherries are removed after harvest to help limit pest development. Native tree species, as well as citrus trees and avocados, grow among the coffee bushes. They provide shade, protect the soil, attract beneficial organisms, and support the natural resilience of the entire farm.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe Castillo variety, hand-picked at peak ripeness, is transported on the same day to the Popayán city center to the state-of-the-art Area 18 laboratory.Fermented for 72 hours in a stainless steel bioreactor while controlling parameters such as temperature, pressure, and pH.Afterward, the fruit pulp undergoes sterile filtration before being placed along with the beans into American white oak barrels for 60 days.Drying takes place in mechanical chambers with controlled temperature and airflow. After five days, the beans reach optimal moisture levels, ensuring stability during storage and export.ROASTER'S OPINIONDefinitely not a coffee for everyone. Heresy - Costa Rica Las Lajas Alma Negra Natural Filter 252 g

Manufacturer: HERESY

Roasting date: 14.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica, roasted by Heresy roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of tropical fruits, blueberries, flowers, wine and caramel.Origin: Costa RicaRegion: AlajuelaFarm: Las LajasProcessing: Alma Negra NaturalAltitude: 1500 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 88 / 100ABOUT THE FARM AND THE COFFEE PRODUCERFrancisca and Oscar are the siblings behind the Las Lajas brand. They are pioneers when it comes to juicy and fruity Costa Rican naturals. In previous years, we visited their plantation several times and together tasted lots that had only just left the drying tables. Cupping with the producers on the farm is always a unique experience. The name Las Lajas comes from the Spanish version of the Arabic word used to describe stone artifacts made by the indigenous population, which were found on the farm's territory when it was founded, around 1840! Located at the foot of the Poás Volcano, in the town of Sabanilla, in the Alajuela region of Costa Rica, the farm has been passed down from generation to generation. In 2000, Las Lajas became one of the first farms in Costa Rica to obtain official organic certification. However, the history of their organic practices dates back to 1980 – that was when Oscar’s father passed away from illnesses related to the use of pesticides. Although there were no premiums for organic coffee at that time, Oscar and Francisca knew they had to transition to organic and sustainable farming, caring for the health and future of both their family and the local ecosystem.ABOUT THE COFFEE BEAN PROCESSING ON THE FARMAlma Negra is a proprietary interpretation of natural processing developed by the Chacóns. During the first week, the hand-picked cherries lie on African raised beds and are constantly mixed for even drying. Then, they are moved to the greenhouse patio and dried in thin layers during the day, while at night they are formed back into thicker piles. These cycles are repeated until the ideal level of dryness is reached. After that, the coffee rests for at least 60 days before export to achieve perfect homogenization.ROASTER'S OPINIONEvery year, we wait for coffees from Las Lajas with flushed cheeks! This lot is, above all, about absurdly high intensities across all layers, from tropical fruits to slightly wild fermentation notes.Store in a dry and cool place.

Heresy - Guatemala La Soledad Pacamara Washed Filter 252 g

Manufacturer: HERESY

Roasting date: 28.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Guatemala, roasted by Heresy roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of forest fruits, jam, flowers, citrus fruits and caramel.Origin: GuatemalaRegion: AcatenangoFarm: La SoledadProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1650 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 87 / 100ABOUT THE COFFEE FARM AND PRODUCERFinca La Soledad is a world-renowned farm. Roasteries and coffee enthusiasts alike look forward to these beans year after year. Raul's family has been involved in coffee for five generations, relentlessly searching for new methods to achieve even better harvests. And they do a fantastic job! Over the years, they have repeatedly earned top positions in the prestigious Cup of Excellence, and their client base has included the world's most esteemed roasteries for two decades.La Soledad offers ideal coffee growing conditions thanks to the unique microclimate of Acatenango. The farm covers 90 hectares, but half of its area is preserved as natural forest, while part is dedicated to avocado cultivation to maintain soil balance.A close relationship with Raul and his family means we know these beans inside out and purchase them year after year, right from the inception of Heresy.ABOUT THE PROCESSING OF COFFEE BEANS AT THE FARMA processing method that the Perez family has refined to perfection over all these years. First, there is depulping, which is the separation of the seeds from the fruit. Next, the beans ferment in tanks for 36 to 40 hours. This particular microlot is then washed and placed on African beds, which have an advantage over patios primarily due to a more even airflow during drying, resulting in greater control over the process.ROASTER'S OPINIONWe have been roasting Raul's coffees for years, but this is the first time we bought his Pacamara. It is one of our favorite varieties, characterized by immense depth, complexity, and distinct jammy notes. Coming from his hands, it is a true masterpiece!Store in a cool and dry place.

Roasting date: 10.09.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of black currants, grapefruit, red currant, tea and brown sugar.Origin: KenyaRegion: KirinyagaFarm: Kiamutuira Washing Station / Mutira Cooperative SocietyVariety: SL28, SL34, BatianProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1650–1700 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMKiamutuira is a factory (washing station) in the Kirinyaga region, belonging to the Mutira Cooperative Society. The factory itself has been operating since 1996, and the cooperative has been a part of Kenyan coffee history since 1951. The coffee comes from approximately 600 smallholders, with the average farm measuring just 0.1 ha. Small scale. Great precision. The crops are situated at an altitude of 1,650–1,700 meters above sea level, near the forest boundary of Mount Kenya. The soils are volcanic, and macadamia trees appear among the shade trees. Tea is also grown in the region, which reflects the climate of the area well: high, green, humid, with excellent conditions for the slow ripening of cherries. The coffee is processed using the washed method, so we expect cleanliness, high acidity, and classic Kenyan juiciness.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis is Kenya in a good, precise style. High acidity, plenty of juiciness, a clean profile, and that exact character you look for in Kirinyaga. Blackcurrant, citrus, tea. Zero randomness. A coffee like this does not need stories about magic. It needs a good recipe.Store in a dry and cool place.

Hi! Coffeedesk - Mad Jungle Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: HI! COFFEEDESK

Roasting date: 10.09.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Uganda, roasted in Warsaw by CoffeeLab. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of cherry, blueberry, dried fruits, spices, rum and alcohol finish.Origin: UgandaRegion: Rwenzori, Western RegionFarm: Nyabirongo / Agri EvolveVariety: SL14, SL28Processing: NaturalAltitude: 1600–2200 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEENyabirongo is located on the southern slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda. It is an important point for local producers from the Bakonzo people and, at the same time, a quality hub for Agri Evolve, a company that has been working with farmers in the region since 2018. The facility in Nyabirongo has been operating since 2022 and combines both a wet and dry mill, ensuring that quality control covers the entire journey from receiving the cherries to preparing the green coffee for export. This lot is a natural. Ripe cherries are hand-picked, sorted through flotation, and then sealed in fermentation tanks. After fermentation, the coffee is dried in thin layers, and later hulled and sorted. The result? Plenty of fruit, high sweetness, and that characteristic, slightly rum-like finish. A coffee with character. No pretending.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis is Uganda on the darker, more fruity side of the force. It is not "polite." It is sweet and fermenty, with cherry and blueberry at the forefront. It works best as a filter coffee for people who like coffees with a strong processing profile but without a heavy, muddy body. Plenty of flavor. Very little boredom.Store in a dry and cool place.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Burundi, roasted in Poland by Kafar. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The cup is filled with notes of currants, vanilla and tea.Country: BurundiRegion: YandaroProcessing: Fully washedVarietal: Red BourbonCupping score: 87 / 100Altitude: 1800 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEYandaro is located in the valley of the river of the same name, not far from the Kibira rainforest – a natural reservoir of water and nutrients for the surrounding crops. The station works with 2,341 smallholder farmers from 22 nearby hills. Each farmer owns on average around 250 trees. In Burundi, coffee is typically grown on micro-farms, often in small plots next to family homes. The coffee cherries arrive at the station on the day of harvest, where they undergo water flotation sorting, hand selection, and classic washed processing. Fermentation in clean water lasts 10–12 hours, after which the coffee is thoroughly washed and dried on raised beds for 2–3 weeks. Each lot remains fully traceable. The result in the cup is a clean, elegant profile typical of high-altitude Burundi coffees: red currant, vanilla, and black tea.A sweet, clear coffee with a tea-like structure and juicy acidity. Ideal for pour-over brewing methods as well as a light, fruit-forward espresso.Burundi remains one of Africa’s most underrated origins, and Yandaro shows exactly why it is increasingly appearing on the map of the world’s best specialty coffees.Store in a cold and dry space.

Kafar - El Salvador La Siberia Double Anaerobic Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: KAFAR

Roasting date: 16.09.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from El Salvador, roasted by Kafar roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of wild strawberry, pitaya and flowers.Origin: El SalvadorRegion: Apaneca-Ilamatepec Mountain RangeFarm: Finca La Siberia Processing: Double Anaerobic NaturalVariety: BatianCupping score: 87 / 100 It is not every day that you come across a coffee that is a bit of an experiment. Even less often does such an experiment end in success. In the cup, we detect juicy wild strawberry, subtly exotic pitaya, and elegant floral notes. It is sooooo smooth to drink.ABOUT THE FARM AND PROCESSINGAt Finca La Siberia in 2019, the Silva family planted the Batian varietal—a coffee tree bred in Kenya for resistance and high cup quality. El Salvador is not its natural home, but that is precisely what made the whole story even more interesting. It turned out that the volcanic soils, cool climate, and high elevation of the farm bring out a truly impressive potential from this varietal. The name of the farm itself has character too. The founders decided that the place felt like... Siberia. This was due to the chilly mornings, high elevation, and challenging terrain. It is hard to argue with them—the coffee clearly thrives in these conditions. The cherries ripen slowly, building a higher concentration of sugars, and then undergo a Double Anaerobic Fermentation process. It sounds like the name of a progressive metal band, but in practice, it means a double controlled anaerobic fermentation that adds even more depth, intensity, and complexity to the coffee. The result? A coffee that shows it is worth taking a risk sometimes. Batian found a second home in El Salvador, and we were delighted to find a spot for it in our roaster.Store in a cool, dry place.

Kafar - Ethiopia Daanisa Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: KAFAR

Roasting date: 23.09.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by Kafar roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of melon, cardamon and blackberries.Origin: EthiopiaRegion: GujiProcessing: NaturalVariety: JARC 74112ABOUT THE COFFEEDaanisa is a coffee that demonstrates why we appreciate natural Ethiopian coffees so much. From the very first sip, it brings distinct fruitiness—melon introduces a juicy, honey-like sweetness, blueberries add depth and freshness, while cardamom appears as a subtle, spicy accent that lends character to the whole cup. However, this is not just the result of processing. Behind this profile lies a specific location and method of work. The coffee trees grow at high altitudes in the Guji region, where coffee is traditionally grown among other plants, preserving natural shade and biodiversity. The name Daanisa itself comes from a local tree that is part of this landscape—a place where coffee is not grown in isolation from nature, but alongside it.A group of 44 local producers collaborating with the Dambi Uddo station is responsible for the beans. Only carefully selected, ripe cherries are processed, which are then dried whole on raised beds. This method allows the natural sweetness of the fruit to be preserved and builds a characteristic profile: intense, yet clean and structured at the same time. What we like most about this coffee is the synergy of energy typical of Guji combined with an elegance that makes you want to come back to it. It is a coffee that does not need any additives or a complex brewing story to showcase its character.Store in a cool, dry place.

Kafar - Ethiopia Uraga Guji Anaerobic Natural Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: KAFAR

Roasting date: 21.09.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by Kafar roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of cola, blackberry and magnolia blossom.Origin: EthiopiaRegion: GujiProcessing: Anaerobic NaturalVariety: Odmiany JARC, Odmiany LokalneCupping score: 89 / 100 ABOUT THE COFFEEThere is a lot going on in the cup. First comes the juicy sweetness of blueberries, followed a moment later by a distinctive note of cola, with the whole experience rounded off by a delicate aroma of magnolia flower. The profile is extremely intense, creamy, and multidimensional, with every sip revealing something new. It is one of those coffees that can pause time and leave you wishing the cup lasted much longer.Behind this character is both the exceptional terroir of the Guji region and thoughtful processing. Only ripe cherries from local family farms, where coffee is still cultivated with a vast amount of manual labor, arrive at the Uraga station. The cherries then undergo controlled anaerobic fermentation and are dried slowly on raised beds. This process does not overpower the coffee's natural character, but instead extracts even more sweetness, depth, and aromatic complexity. We chose this lot because it is exactly what we expect from modern specialty coffees. Fermentation here is a means, not the end — it does not take center stage, but rather enhances the very best that Guji has to offer. The result is spectacular. It is a coffee that delights from the first cupping and stays in your memory long after the last sip.Store in a cool, dry place.
