COFFEELAB - Costa Rica Alvarado Fonseca Familia Natural Anaerobic Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEELAB

Roasting date: 29.06.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica, roasted in Warsaw by CoffeeLab. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of cherry liqueur, wild strawberry and grapefruit.Origin: Costa RicaRegion: ChirripóFarm: Corazón de JesúsVariety: PeaberryProcessing: Natural AnaerobicAltitude: 1800 – 1950 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEECosta Rica Alvarado Fonseca Family is another peaberry* that completely won us over. There is something of cherry liqueur to it: lightly fermented, deep and intense. But instead of drifting into a heavy, boozy ferment, it stays on the light side of the Force: fresh, bright, and grapefruit-leaning.Our first impression? Cherries in a liqueur-like, very sweet form. The grapefruit note is there to show clarity, freshness, and citrusy acidity. During our tests, the brew came out expressive, but not overwhelming. Fruity, clea,n and juicy. Not too light, not too heavy. Just right. The coffee comes from the Chirripó region in Costa Rica, from farms located at 1800–1950 m a.s.l. Behind the lot stands the Alvarado Fonseca Family, a producer family connected with the Corazón de Jesús micro-mill. Jhon Alvarado Abarca, also known as Johny, regularly appears among the top names in Cup of Excellence, and his work shows what you can achieve with experience, ambition, and constant process refinement. This lot was processed as natural anaerobic, which helps build deep, fermented fruitiness without taking away the coffee’s clarity. And that is exactly what we liked most about it: the intensity is clear, but kept in check. A good example of a thoughtful combination of peaberry selection and process. We especially recommend this lot to people who enjoy fruity-fermented intensity, but care just as much about balance. There is energy and depth here. But there is also lightness and freshness.*Peaberry is a natural anomaly: instead of two flat seeds developing inside the coffee cherry, there is one smaller, rounder seed. In practice, it can often give a more concentrated and intense flavour.Store in a cold and dry space.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia, roasted by Bracia Ziółkowscy roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of bubblegum, blackberry and citrus fruits.Origin: ColombiaRegion: Pitalito, HuilaFarm: MonteblancoVariety: Purple CaturraProcessing: Anaerobic Washed, fermented with blackberries Altitude: 1730 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 86 / 100ABOUT THE FARMFinca Monteblanco is a 14-hectare family farm managed together by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia and his wife Claudia. It is also one of the epicenters of infused fermentations in Colombia. The Sanchez Valencia family has developed a complex process, allowing them to achieve stable and repeatable results.ABOUT PROCESSINGThe first stage involves creating a "fermentation starter" – naturally occurring yeasts are extracted from the cherries of the Purple Caturra variety. Next, they are added to concentrated blueberry juice to conduct a pre-fermentation. Then, the starter obtained this way is added to the already harvested coffee cherries sealed in 200-liter fermentation tanks. After this stage, the coffee is processed as a classic washed. We have been roasting infused fermentation coffees for some time now. Of course, they vary, but they share a fairly distinct common trait in their profile. Blueberry was an absolute surprise. We took a slurp and said to ourselves – wow, fudge, toffee, milk chocolate. We've never had anything like this before. Blueberries are there, of course – in the dry aroma, in the flavor. But that is not the main characteristic of this coffee. It reminds us most of éclair candies – hard, but milky and caramelly – with a small blueberry on top. - RoasteryROASTER'S OPINIONOh my! We have been roasting coffees from infused fermentations for some time now, but there has never been anything like this. Caramel, the sweetness of fudge, or maybe toffee in milk chocolate. And a pyramid of blueberries on top. This is good!Store in a cold and dry space.

Bracia Ziółkowscy - Costa Rica Corazon de Jesus Anaerobic Natural Espresso 250 g

Manufacturer: BRACIA ZIÓŁKOWSCY

Roasting date: 16.06.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica, roasted by Bracia Ziółkowscy roasting brand. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. The flavour of the brew resembles plum, wine acidity and papaya.Origin: Costa RicaRegion: Chirripó, BruncaFarm: Corazón de Jesus Variety: Blend, peaberryProcessing: Anaerobic NaturalCupping score: 87 / 100Altitude: 1680-1880 m a.s.lABOUT THE FARMThe Corazón de Jesús farm, managed by Jhon Alvarado and his family in the Chirripó (Brunca) region of Costa Rica, spans approximately 16 hectares across several plots, including Finca La Torre, Los Toños, and El Salitre. The project has been developing since the early 2010s, when the family transitioned from growing vegetables to producing specialty coffee. A key step was the launch of their own processing station in 2015, which was expanded in 2025, allowing them to take full control over production and the preparation of beans for export.Production is based on a "variety-driven" approach, meaning the creation of microlots by variety and specific plots. The crops are dominated by both classic varieties, such as Caturra and Catuai, as well as more demanding and highly valued ones, including Gesha, SL28, Ethiopia 47, and Java. This approach allows them to precisely match the processing methods to the characteristics of the raw material and maximize the sensory potential of each lot.The farm utilizes a wide range of processing methods: from classic washed and honey to more advanced natural, anaerobic, and extended fermentation processes. Fermentations are conducted under controlled conditions, often in sealed tanks, with the duration and parameters precisely tailored to specific varieties. Drying takes place mainly on raised beds and patios, and the entire process – from harvesting to stabilization and dry milling – is strictly monitored. The result of this approach is coffee with high clarity and a complex profile: from elegant, clean Geshas and structured honeys to intense, controlled anaerobics with distinct fruitiness and winey notes. The quality of production is confirmed by numerous successes in the Cup of Excellence competition, where the farm has placed at the top multiple times, including first place in 2025.Our beans are a selection of peaberry, sourced from the coffees that won awards in this year's Cup of Excellence. Peaberry is a naturally occurring type of bean – about 10-15% of coffee beans do not split in half but remain as a single whole. Traditionally, they are separated from the rest for the consistency of the lot. In our experience, peaberry beans can have an incredibly clean and balanced profile, which is undoubtedly the case here.Store in a cold and dry space.

This 36-year-old, who has been working with coffee for over half his life, invested all his resources two years ago to build a small, self-sufficient processing station – a depulper, fermentation tanks, and a small greenhouse for drying. From season to season, his coffees show increasing complexity on the cupping table, which translates into higher and higher prices he can demand for his lots!ABOUT THE COFFEE BEAN PROCESSING ON THE FARMCaturra and catuai varieties, hand-picked and then dried as whole cherries for about 25 days in the greenhouse built next to Edinson's house.ROASTER'S OPINIONWe are tossing the first natural from Peru this season into the roaster! When Diego left to find work abroad, she took over the farm and began developing it together with their children. It all began at the beginning of the 20th century, when around 1908 the Dutch colonial authorities brought Arabica seedlings to the Gayo highlands.Today, Gayo coffee is grown mainly in three regions: Central Aceh, Bener Meriah, and Gayo Lues. This place has ideal growing conditions - fertile volcanic soils, hilly terrain, a cool climate, and regular rainfall. Thanks to this, the coffee from there is of truly high quality. After colonial times, cultivation was taken over by local, small-scale farmers who continue this tradition to this day, often using natural, sustainable methods and shade-grown cultivation. For the inhabitants of Gayo, coffee is more than just a product - it is the foundation of life. It supports virtually every family and is strongly tied to their culture and identity. After harvesting, the fresh coffee cherries are processed immediately. The first step is sorting using the flotation method (known as "rimbang") - the cherries are thrown into water, which causes the ripe, heavier (meaning good) ones to sink, while the immature or damaged ones float to the surface and are discarded. This is a simple, traditional, but very effective method.Store in a dry and cool place.

Meet Colombia El Paseo – an exceptional lot from Huver Castillo. Huver, a former mathematics teacher, now applies that same precision and passion for innovation to the processing methods on his family farm, situated on the steep slopes overlooking the Buesaco valley. This coffee is an absolute bomb of lavender and Earl Grey that is addictive from the very first sip. The unique profile of these Caturra variety beans is the result of meticulous work. The cherries first undergo a 36-hour pre-fermentation, and then, after pulping, they go into sealed anaerobic tanks for as long as 6 days, where the addition of enzymes allows their full potential to be unlocked.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee is my favorite offering in our lineup. The intensely noticeable Earl Grey, citrus acidity, and a delicately emerging lavender aroma create an excellent sensory combination in the cup.Store in a dry and cool place.

Whole-bean specialty coffee beans from Kenya, roasted by COFFEE PLANT from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of tomato, lemon and blackberry.Origin: KenyaRegion: Nyeri, KaratinaFarma: Muthuaini Washing StationProcessing: Fully WashedVariety: SL28, SL34Altitude: 1700-1800 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMThe Mutheka Farmers’ Co-operative Society is an example of what is most important in Kenyan agriculture — the strength of the community, local experience, and grassroots work. Operating in the Nyeri region, in the heart of the Kenyan coffee sector, the cooperative brings farmers together, creating a space for collaboration and the joint improvement of production quality. The organization is based on a cooperative model, supporting its members in production, logistics, and sales, which allows them to reach the market more effectively and increase the value of their coffee. Thanks to this, smallholders benefit from the knowledge, infrastructure, and experience of the entire community.Although the cooperative is not widely known in the media, it constitutes an important element of Kenyan agriculture — stable and based on local commitment. The Mutheka Farmers’ Co-operative Society is, above all, about the people: their work, tradition, and the pursuit of quality that shape contemporary agriculture in Kenya.ROASTER'S OPINIONIn this bag, you will find a classic, well-balanced Kenya — a blend of the two most valued botanical varieties in the country: SL28 and SL34. This combination is the foundation of Kenyan quality and is responsible for the characteristic, expressive profile of this region. In the aroma, the coffee presents itself very fresh and complex — notes of lemon, berries, and a delicate, slightly savory (umami) background appear, giving it depth. The flavor is dominated by citrus, especially lemon, intertwined with juicy blackberry and subtle, dry accents reminiscent of tomato. The body is medium, round, and pleasantly mouth-filling. The whole experience is completed by a long, fruity aftertaste and a vibrant, refreshing acidity with a slightly sparkling character, which gives the coffee energy and freshness. This is a classic Kenya in a very refined, clean form — intense yet elegant, and perfect for the increasingly warm days.RECIPEKenya captivates with its beautiful and sparkling acidity, which is why we recommend a dripper for this coffee — Hario V60 or Origami. For a 300 ml brew, use 18 g of medium-coarsely ground coffee (22-24 clicks on a Comandante), water at a temperature of 93-94°C, and pour as follows:0:00 – 55 ml (swirl the dripper)0:30 – 120 ml1:00 – 180 ml1:30 – 240 ml2:00 – 300 mlGently swirl at the end.Store in a cool and dry place.
COFFEE PLANT - Tonic Espresso Blend Espresso 1 kg

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 25.05.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya and Ethiopia, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Dark roast, perfect for espresso, coffee machines, and moka pots. You can expect hints of red fruits, stone fruits and fresh citrus.Country: Kenya, EthiopiaRegion: Nyeri, GujiVarietal: SL28, SL34, HeirloomProcessing: Natural/Fully washedAltitude: 1620-2230 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis coffee was designed for espresso tonic — juicy, refreshing, and distinct enough to hold its own when combined with tonic water. Its profile features red fruits, stone fruits, and subtle citrus, which together build a fresh, fruity character.Washed processed Kenya brings clear, citrusy energy and structure, ensuring the espresso remains distinct even after mixing with tonic. Natural processed Ethiopia adds sweetness and an intense, fruity dimension — ranging from juicy red fruits to ripe stone fruits. The espresso itself is full of energy, clean, and naturally sweet, with a clear freshness in the background. When combined with tonic, the beverage becomes even lighter and more crisp — citrus notes boost the refreshment, fruity sweetness balances the dryness, and the whole composition results in a juicy, clear, and highly drinkable profile.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee was created with espresso tonic in mind — intense, juicy, and bold enough to cut through even when mixed with tonic. Its profile is based on red fruits, stone fruits, and subtle citrus, which together create a fresh, fruity, and crisp character. In combination with tonic, the drink gains fullness and energy. Citrus notes enhance the refreshing effect, fruity sweetness softens the bitterness of the tonic, and the overall experience becomes both juicy and clear. This is exactly the profile expected from a good espresso tonic base — fresh, light, and very drinkable. Perfect for warm days and all moments when you feel like having something truly refreshing.RECIPEEspresso Tonic is a simple yet very refreshing drink, perfect for hot days. Just prepare a tall glass with ice, pour in about 150 ml of tonic, and then gently add a freshly brewed espresso. The result is a light, sparkling drink with a pleasant citrus and coffee character. For extra aroma, you can add a few slices of orange or grapefruit — they will emphasize the freshness and give the drink a more complex flavor profile. For the espresso, a classic recipe works best: 18 g of finely ground coffee to obtain about 35–40 g of brew in approximately 30 seconds. The order is key — tonic first, then espresso. In the reverse version, the drink may foam up excessively and "overflow" from the glass.Store in a dry and cool place.

COFFEELAB - Burundi Nguvu Washed Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEELAB

Roasting date: 06.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Burundi, roasted in Warsaw by CoffeeLab. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of blackberry, black tea and apricot.Origin: BurundiRegion: MuyingaVariety: BourbonProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1700 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEAnother fresh harvest from Luis, and just like every year, it does not disappoint. This season, we went for the Aji variety, already warmly received by you, which struck us with its transparency. We got a proper strawberry punch straight to the taste buds, and we are still recovering from that fruity knockout. In the cup, the strawberry was the main thing: fresh, but also a little more jammy. At times, we had the impression of those yoghurt-and-strawberry chocolates appearing in the flavour too. There is no doubt that a lot is going on here, and sensory boredom is not really an option. We completed the flavour profile with notes of mango and sea buckthorn to highlight the fresh, soft sweetness and intense acidity that stays with us long after the last sip. In truth, the range of associations was almost endless, so we narrowed it down to the notes that stood out the most and best captured this juicy, ripe fruitiness.ABOUT THE VARIETYWe write the variety simply as Aji, though its fuller name is Bourbon Aji. The name comes from… a pepper. Farmers in southern Huila noticed the distinctive aroma of the cherries, reminiscent of a small chilli pepper. Here comes the plot twist, though: genetic testing has shown that it is not a direct descendant of classic Bourbon, but a variety of Ethiopian origin.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe coffee and its processing come from Luis Marcelino of Aroma Nativo in Pitalito. The name Hydro Honey may sound fancy, but it is not just a pretty label. Behind it stands a specific, multi-stage process. Only the ripest cherries go into processing, first fermenting in a controlled anaerobic environment. The coffee is then depulped and pre-dried. Later, it returns to the tanks for a rehydration stage with selected yeasts and bacteria, before moving to raised beds, where it dries for up to 26 days. Finally, it goes through three months of stabilisation under controlled conditions. This is exactly the process that helps build an equally layered profile: intense, juicy and long-lasting.Store in a cold and dry space.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted by Bracia Ziółkowscy roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of raspberry, cherry and caramel.Origin: KenyaRegion: KirinyagaFarm: InoiVariety: SL 28, SL 34, Batian, Ruiru 11Processing: WashedAltitude: 1650-1800 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 86 / 100ABOUT THE REGIONKaguyu Factory is a washing station located in the Kirinyaga region, on the fertile, volcanic slopes of Mount Kenya. Situated at an altitude of 1750–1800 m a.s.l., it benefits from excellent coffee-growing conditions: abundant rainfall, fertile red soils, and the cool climate characteristic of the surroundings of the country's highest peak.Kaguyu belongs to the Inoi Farmers Cooperative Society. Coffee is delivered here by smallholders, who usually own a few hundred coffee trees each. This model is typical for Kenya — instead of large plantations, thousands of small family farms dominate. Combined with specialized washing stations, it allows maintaining a very high level of selection and raw material quality.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe coffee is processed using the fully washed method with double fermentation, which is classic for Kenya. Carefully selected cherries reach the station on the very same day after harvesting. After depulping, the beans undergo overnight fermentation, then they are washed in sorting channels, soaked for another 24–48 hours in clean water, and dried on raised beds. It is this precise processing that is responsible for the clarity of flavor and high sweetness characteristic of the best Kenyan coffees.ROASTER'S OPINIONSweet and refreshing. A bit like blackberry jam, a bit like currant juice. And all of this with a subtle hint of caramel.Store in a cool, dry place.
