Beriti is a coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by the renowned Italian roastery Le Piantagioni del Caffè. This 100% Arabica is distinguished by notes of strawberry, apricot, and berries.

Country of origin: Ethiopia

Processing: Natural

Region: Gedeb, Yirgacheffe

Altitude: 2,150 m a.s.l.

All Beriti coffee is produced within an agroecological, polycultural farming system known as “garden coffee,” where the plants grow in the shade of enset trees (so-called false banana trees). The harvested cherries are dried on the farms for around three weeks. After the removal of the jenfel layer and careful hand sorting, the green beans are transported to a dry processing facility in Addis Ababa, where they undergo the final stages of processing.
