Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of rhubarb, red grapefruit and tea.Origin: TanzaniaRegion: SongweFarm: ItumpiVariety:  N 39, KT 423 (peaberry)Processing: WashedAltitude: 1500 – 1700 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEThey are already here! Just as the warm weather has settled in for good, the first fresh harvests from Africa are starting to arrive. Itumpi from Tanzania clearly reminds us why we value coffees from this part of the continent: crisp, juicy brews with a large dose of freshness. In taste, Itumpi leans towards green-red rhubarb and pink grapefruit. The acidity is distinct and pleasantly juicy. In mouthfeel, the coffee is light, tea-like, and clean, with a crisp finish that practically begs to be brewed over ice.The enigmatic PB stands for peaberry. It refers to a natural anomaly where, instead of two flat beans, a single, smaller, and rounder bean develops inside the coffee cherry. Sometimes overlooked, though completely unfairly, because it can yield a very intense, concentrated flavor. It was this intensity that stole our taste buds from among the other grades. The raw material comes from the Itumpi cooperative in the Mbozi district, Songwe region. About 160 local producers operate here, cultivating coffee at an altitude of 1500–1700 meters above sea level. Since 2019, the cooperative has been producing fully washed coffees using their own wet mill. With such a crisp, acidic profile, this method fits like a glove.Store in a dry and cool place.

The region is known for its ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. The mountainous terrain, volcanic soils, and favorable microclimate allow for the production of coffee with refined, distinctive profiles.Fun fact: heirloom is a term characteristic of Ethiopian coffees, used to describe the local and wild varieties of the coffee tree viewed as a whole. Some sources state that up to 10,000 different varieties are grown in the country; they are often mixed in the fields, and it would be difficult to sort them precisely during harvest, which is why over time they were given this collective name meaning "traditional coffee."Store in a cool, dry place.

The local producers cultivate coffee at altitudes reaching up to 2,200 meters above sea level, and the station itself is located at 1,850 meters above sea level.Fun fact: a peculiar aspect of this coffee is that its "unique profile" is partly attributed to the indigenous honeybees inhabiting the Nyungwe forest and its surrounding areas, where the crops are grown. Bee-assisted pollination, fertile humus-sandy soil, and a cool climate resulting from the proximity of Lake Kivu all contribute to the flavor of this coffee.Store in a cool and dry place.

The farm spans 6 hectares, 5 of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation. This scale allows for great attention to detail in cherry selection and process quality.ABOUT THE COFFEEPapayo Rojo is a variety that brings plenty of dynamics and freshness to the cup. In a well-managed process, it can deliver a juicy, complex, and very clear profile. This is one of those coffees that shows modern Colombia can still surprise with its form, without losing precision. The cherries were hand-picked, then subjected to 24-hour oxidation and 36-hour fermentation in mucilage. After this stage, the mucilage layer was removed mechanically, followed by drying in a marquesina for about 20 days. This process builds greater depth of flavor and helps maintain high profile clarity.RECIPEProportions: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind: medium-coarseBrewing time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour the coffee in 5 equal parts at 30-second intervals. The water should completely drain through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size to coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a cold and dry space.

Specialty-grade whole-bean coffee from Costa Rica, roasted by the Polish roastery Hard Beans. Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of orange, mango and mik chocolate.Origin: Costa Rica Region: Naranjo, West ValleyFarm: Los CipresesProcessing method: Natural AnaerobicVariety: MilenioAltitude: 1600 – 1650 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMBehind this coffee is the Salazar family from the Los Cipreses farm in Naranjo, located in the West Valley region of Costa Rica. For over four decades, they sold their coffee to local cooperatives, but since 2018, they began developing production with a greater focus on the specialty segment. A significant step was the launch of their own mill, Beneficio San Cristóbal, which gives them greater control over quality and processing. The crops are situated at an altitude of approximately 1600–1650 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE VARIETYMilenio, also designated as H10, is a variety with very high yield potential, high resistance to coffee leaf rust, and good quality potential at higher altitudes. World Coffee Research identifies it as a hybrid with very high productivity and good quality above 1300 meters. In practice, it is a material that successfully combines agronomic traits with sensory potential.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGNatural anaerobic is a combination of two process elements. "Anaerobic" refers to fermentation in an environment with limited or eliminated access to oxygen, usually in closed tanks. "Natural," on the other hand, means that the bean is dried within the whole fruit rather than after the pulp has been removed. Such processing typically enhances flavor intensity, sweetness, and the fruity character of the coffee while providing a more saturated profile.RECIPERatio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: medium-coarseBrewing time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour the water over the coffee in 5 equal parts (e.g., 5x 60g) at 30-second intervals. The water should completely filter through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size to coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a cold and dry space.

In the cup, you’ll find notes of almond, green apple, green tea, and orange.Origin: ColombiaRegion: TolimaFarm: Finca El VergelProcessing method: Koji SupernaturalVariety: Pink BourbonAltitude: 1460 m n.p.m.RECIPERatio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: Medium-coarseBrew time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour the water in 5 equal stages (e.g. 5 × 60 g), every 30 seconds.Allow the water to fully pass through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size coarser or finer accordingly.Remember to use soft, filtered water.ABOUT THE FARMFinca El Vergel is one of the oldest coffee plantations in the Tolima region of Colombia. It is currently run by the second generation of producers, Elias and Shady Bayter, with the support of their mother, Martha. Unlike many small farms in Colombia, which typically cover around 5 hectares, this estate spans over 300 hectares of land, nearly 100 hectares of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation. The Bayter family is currently conducting advanced research on bacteria and yeasts to control fermentation, constantly experimenting with processing methods and achieving an unprecedented level of excellence in their coffees. El Vergel grows more than 28 different coffee varieties and is the first farm in Colombia to develop the Koji fermentation process, a technique that has completely revolutionized green coffee production.Pink Bourbon is a unique coffee variety, known for its unusual pink-colored cherries. Its captivating and complex flavor profile is characterized by floral notes, fruitiness, juicy acidity, and honey-like sweetness. This exceptional coffee was produced using a method developed at El Vergel Estate, employing Aspergillus oryzae, a fungus renowned for its ability to enhance flavor profiles. The innovative process involves cultivating the fungus on steamed rice for 3–4 days. Once fully developed, the rice is harvested, dried, and ground into a fine powder. This powder is then evenly spread over coffee cherries placed on raised beds. Ensuring oxygen exposure is crucial, as it enables the fungus to grow and transform the fruit.During a 24–72 hour aerobic fermentation, the koji culture develops, covering most of the cherries and intensifying their flavor complexity. After fermentation, the cherries are dried in two stages: first for 10 days under the sun, followed by 2–4 days of mechanical drying at a controlled temperature not exceeding 38°C to preserve the coffee’s delicate characteristics. Finally, the beans undergo a 20-day stabilization period in GrainPro bags, ensuring stability and optimal storage conditions.ROYAL BEANSWhat’s behind the name Royal Beans?
