It is characterized by two types of climate: cold and temperate, and coffees from this area differ from the rest of Huila – they are more acidic and delicate, with distinct fruity notes. Our coffee comes from a selected group of producers from the upper part of the municipality of Palestina, located at an altitude of approximately 1700 meters above sea level. This group of farmers has specialized in cultivating varieties such as Tabi and Caturra. Cooperativa Departamental de Caficultores del Huila Ltda. CADEFIHUILA is a non-profit organization and one of the most important coffee cooperatives in Colombia. Its reach covers 27 municipalities, where a support network operates consisting of 45 coffee purchase points, 46 fertilizer stores, 36 agricultural supply stores, 16 permanent cupping laboratories, one mobile laboratory, and 7 points offering drying services. CADEFIHUILA implements programs aimed at achieving high production standards on farms. These standards are based on codes of conduct such as Fairtrade, Rainforest, 4C, and C.A.F.E. Practices. The development of certification processes for these specialized coffees allows the cooperative to meet market demand for coffee purchased under specific conditions.ABOUT THE VARIETYCaturra is a coffee variety that originated as a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety. It was discovered on a plantation in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil between 1915 and 1918. The name "Caturra" comes from the word "Guarani", which means "small". This variety is characterized by the short stature of the plant. Due to its small size and closely spaced branches, it can be planted close together, which increases the yield per given area. Caturra contributed to the intensification of coffee cultivation, especially in Central America, where it was introduced into cultivation in the 1940s. This variety also played a significant role in breeding coffee plants resistant to coffee leaf rust, contributing to the creation of the "Catimor" family of varieties. Tabi is a relatively young variety, created in Colombia as a cross between Bourbon, Typica, and the disease-resistant Timor Hybrid variety. The word "Tabi" comes from the language of the indigenous people of Colombia and means "peace" or "life".ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe coffee undergoes a traditional washing process, which begins with harvesting ripe cherries, weighing them, and leaving them for 24 hours in a processing tank. Next, the beans are depulped and placed in a water tank, where they are rinsed twice after about 12 hours. Finally, the coffee is dried in the sun or mechanically, depending on the producer's capabilities.Store in a dry and cool place.

COFFEE PLANT - FLOW Mellow Decaf Filter 800g

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 09.06.2026

Decaffeinated specialty coffee beans from Brazil and Mexico, roasted by COFFEE PLANT from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of peanuts, milk chocolate, flowers and dried fruits.Country: Brazil, MexicoMethod of decaffeination: CO2 Washed, Mountain Water ProcessFLAVOURExperience full flavour without the caffeine. FLOW Mellow Decaf is a perfectly balanced blend that combines cocoa notes with subtle hints of plum and red apple. Thanks to the combination of beans from Brazil and Mexico, the coffee has a dense, sweet base with a light fruity accent that sneaks up on you.An ideal choice for those who want to enjoy a rich, sweet coffee without caffeine. A great option for any time of day, especially as an everyday pour-over that can be easily prepared in a drip coffee maker. For those who enjoy experimenting, it also brings plenty of joy when brewed manually, allowing even more flavour nuances to shine through.PROCESSINGThe decaffeination process used for our beans is based on two natural and safe methods: CO₂ Washed and Mountain Water Washed. Both techniques remove caffeine while preserving the integrity of the bean and the full spectrum of its natural aromas. In the CO₂ Washed method, green coffee beans are exposed to carbon dioxide under high pressure. CO₂ acts as a selective solvent, binding caffeine molecules without affecting the compounds responsible for the coffee’s flavour and aroma. After the process is complete, the CO₂ is released and the caffeine separated, making this method completely safe, clean, and environmentally friendly. The Mountain Water Washed method, on the other hand, uses pure water from mountain sources. The beans are soaked under controlled conditions, which opens their structure. The water is then circulated repeatedly, washing out the caffeine through a natural difference in concentration. After the process, the beans are carefully dried to restore the proper moisture level. Both methods preserve the authentic character of the coffee, delivering a full, natural taste — without caffeine.BREWINGThe density of decaffeinated coffee differs slightly from that of caffeinated coffee. It’s worth using a little more to enhance mouthfeel. Use 18.5 g of coffee, ground at 19 clicks on a Comandante grinder. Pour water at 98°C according to the following schedule:0:00 – 50 ml0:30 – 120 ml1:00 – 180 ml1:30 – 240 ml2:00 – 300 mlFinish with a gentle stir.Store in a cold and dry space.

COFFEELAB - Brazil Fazenda Vivir Café Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEELAB

Roasting date: 20.07.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Brazil, roasted in Warsaw by CoffeeLab. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of dried apricot, muscovado and rice tea.Origin: BrazilRegion: Cerrado MineiroFarm: Fazenda Vivir CaféVariety: Red CatuaíProcessing: Induced FermentationAltitude: 1100 m a.s.l.Brazil from the Veloso sisters is a proper sweet one for filter: sticky and dessert-like. Just right over a few ice cubes when you feel like a cold coffee that leans more sweet than fruity and juicy. You won’t find high acidity or a citrusy kick here. Instead, there are notes of dried fruit, like sweet apricot, alongside the darker, deeper sweetness of muscovado sugar. The finish reminds us of rice tea: gently toasted, smooth, with a pleasantly sticky texture.ABOUT THE FARMBehind this coffee are Virgínia and Viviane Veloso, sisters and co-founders of Vivir Café. Their family has been working with coffee in Cerrado Mineiro for over 50 years, and today they produce coffee across six farms, focusing on specialty Arabica, quality and a more conscious approach to farming. This lot is Red Catuaí grown at 1100 m a.s.l., processed as a natural with 48 hours of induced fermentation.Store in a cold and dry space.
