Bialetti Perfetto Moka Deka 250g

Manufacturer: BIALETTI

Bialetti Perfetto Moka Deka is Italian decaffeinated dark roast ground coffee. 40% Arabica, 60% Robusta, with he predominant bean from Brazil. Delicate, with the highlighted notes of cereals and tosated bread.Due to the grind size, recommended for moka pots. Proper coarseness results in good water flow, desired extraction and finally expected flavour.Variety: 40%  Arabika, 60% RobustaRoast level: DarkTaste profile: Tosated bread, cerealsThis coffee is decaffeinated with dichloromethane method: dichloromethane (or methylene chloride) is an organic solvent widely used for the decaffeination of green coffee.During the process, the coffee beans come into direct contact with this solvent, which is subsequently removed through a vaporization step. Dichloromethane is highly volatile, having a boiling point of 40°C, which makes it easily eliminated after the process, down to undetectable concentrations on roasted coffee. The dichloromethane used for decaffeination is of food grade quality and its purity is certified by both the manufacturer and external laboratories through periodic analyses and checks to verify its compliance with the requirements of European Directive.

Decaffeinated specialty coffee. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew is loaded with the highlighted notes of red fruits, spices and sweetness.Country: ColombiaRegion: TolimaFarm: EL VergelAltitude: 1450 m a.s.l.Varietal: Red & Yellow CaturraProcessing: WashedMethod of decaffeination: SugarcaneCaffeine-free, but full of flavor. Rich in aroma, and not just until the full moon. Drink as much as you want, even after the bedtime cartoon.ABOUT THE FARMThe Bayter family from the El Vergel farm has been involved in agriculture since 1995. Initially, they grew avocados, and since 2009, they have been experimenting with coffee cultivation. Gradually, under the guidance of Miguel Jimenez, they expanded their offer to include specialty coffee varieties. The farm underwent a major modernization in 2018. Natural drying processes were introduced, and research began on bacteria and yeast that control fermentation (including the Koji strain). Currently, over 28 different coffee varieties are grown there.ABOUT THE VARIETYCaturra is a coffee variety that originated as a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety. It was discovered on a plantation in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil between 1915 and 1918. The name "Caturra" comes from the word "Guarani", which means "small". This variety is characterized by the short stature of the plant. Due to its small size and closely spaced branches, it can be planted close together, which increases the yield per given area. Caturra contributed to the intensification of coffee cultivation, particularly in Central America, where it was introduced to cultivation in the 1940s. This variety also played a significant role in breeding coffee trees resistant to coffee leaf rust, contributing to the creation of the "Catimor" family of varieties. The Red Caturra variety is characterized by an intense aroma and a rich flavor profile. On the other hand, Yellow Caturra is a subtle coffee variety with bright, yellow beans. It is characterized by a mild flavor profile.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGSugarcane is a unique type of fermentation resulting in more intense fruity notes. After the fermentation is complete, caffeine is removed through an extraction process in special containers, where it is washed with a mixture of water and ethyl acetate. This process is repeated multiple times until the caffeine level drops to just 0.1%.Store in a dry and cool place.
Arcaffe Kuz - Decaf Coffee 1kg

Manufacturer: ARCAFFE

Decaffeinated whole-bean coffee from Brazil roasted by Arcaffe in Italy. Medium roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. 100% selected arabica beans - delicate, light, yet flavourful. In 1975 the Meschini family decided to come up with an excellent decaffeinated coffee to offer it to coffee lovers who wanted to avoid the effects of caffeine but did not want to give up on their coffee break.Kuz became the name of our 100% arabica decaf originating from Brazil and offering the pleasure of a delicate, light, yet flavourful coffee. The decaffeination of Arcaffè Kuz coffee uses ethyl acetate, which selectively removes caffeine while preserving the other components responsible for the coffee's flavor and aroma. As a result, the coffee retains its organoleptic properties, comparable to regular coffee. Ethyl acetate residues are minimal, and due to its natural presence in coffee beans and its harmlessness to health, this process is entirely safe.Coffee is packed in a protective atmosphere using nitrogen which further reduces the possibility of oxidation.Store in a cold and dry space.
COFFEELAB - Decaf But Tasty Washed Espresso 1 kg

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia, roasted in Warsaw by Coffeelab. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. You can expect hints of almonds, amaretto and biscuits.Country: ColombiaRegion: HuilaMethod of decaffeination: SugarcaneProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1400 – 2000 m a.s.l.Variety: Castillo, Caturra, ColombiaABOUT COFFEEIn this edition, Decaf but Tasty! reminds us entirely of tiramisu. First, a dessert-like base of sponge fingers. Then plenty of sweetness, notes of almonds and that sweet-bitter amaretto accent. This coffee comes from Huila, Colombia, and follows a classic washed process. The beans are sourced from small-scale producers working on a few hectares each, where selective picking and controlled fermentation are the norm rather than the exception. Depulped on the day of harvest, fermented for 12–36 hours, then thoroughly washed and dried to the desired moisture level. The result is a clean, structured base that translates into clarity and balanced sweetness in espresso.Caffeine is removed using the EA (ethyl acetate) method. It is a compound that occurs naturally in fruit and as a by-product of sugar fermentation. The green coffee, already processed, is first steamed under low pressure to open up its structure. It is then placed in a water-EA solution, which binds to the caffeine molecules. The process is repeated until caffeine is no longer detectable. Finally, the coffee is steamed once more to remove any remaining traces, then dried and prepared for export. The result is a decaffeinated espresso that feels complete. Sweet, expressive and simply good.Store in a cold and dry space.

A great option for any time of day, especially as an everyday pour-over that can be easily prepared in a drip coffee maker. For those who enjoy experimenting, it also brings plenty of joy when brewed manually, allowing even more flavour nuances to shine through.PROCESSINGThe decaffeination process used for our beans is based on two natural and safe methods: CO₂ Washed and Mountain Water Washed. Both techniques remove caffeine while preserving the integrity of the bean and the full spectrum of its natural aromas. In the CO₂ Washed method, green coffee beans are exposed to carbon dioxide under high pressure. CO₂ acts as a selective solvent, binding caffeine molecules without affecting the compounds responsible for the coffee’s flavour and aroma. After the process is complete, the CO₂ is released and the caffeine separated, making this method completely safe, clean, and environmentally friendly. The Mountain Water Washed method, on the other hand, uses pure water from mountain sources. The beans are soaked under controlled conditions, which opens their structure. The water is then circulated repeatedly, washing out the caffeine through a natural difference in concentration. After the process, the beans are carefully dried to restore the proper moisture level. Both methods preserve the authentic character of the coffee, delivering a full, natural taste — without caffeine.BREWINGThe density of decaffeinated coffee differs slightly from that of caffeinated coffee. This lot comes from the Planadas region in Tolima, Colombia – grown at an altitude of 1500–2150 meters above sea level on volcanic, clay soil by about 175 families gathered in local agricultural associations. Tolima regularly appears in the Cup of Excellence, and for good reason – the region delivers coffees with a distinct character and a clean profile. The coffee is decaffeinated using the sugarcane ethyl acetate method – not chemically, but using a natural solvent derived from sugarcane. The green beans enter a steam chamber, are then soaked in spring water, and spend 8 hours in direct contact with ethyl acetate, which dissolves the caffeine while leaving the rest untouched. The result: coffee that tastes like coffee.ROASTER'S OPINIONEl Indio is a decaf that doesn't act like a decaf. Lime acidity, red fruits, and a chocolate finish – everything is in place, only caffeine is missing. The sugarcane EA method preserves what's best in the coffee, removing only what led someone to reach for decaf in the first place. Recommended without warnings. Expect notes of caramel, shortbread, and creamy milk chocolate. With a touch of yellow plum and dried fruit as it cools, this is a decaf for any occasion.ABOUT THE FARMThe coffee was produced as a collaboration of select coffee producers in Huila, who grow coffee between 1400 and 2000m. Located in southwestern Colombia, Huila is nestled between the Central and Eastern ranges of the Andes. Variations in altitude results in Huila being one of the most unique and complex regions of coffee production in Colombia. The terroir, climate, and harvest cycles all contribute to the quality of coffee produced here.ABOUT THE PROCESSThe coffee is picked ripe and pulped the same day, before open fermentation in tanks for 12–36 hours. The coffee is then washed clean of its mucilage before drying on patios. Once dry, the beans are decaffeinated through the sugarcane or Ethyl Acetate process. A solution of water and Ethyl Acetate - derived from Colombian sugarcane crops - is used to gently extract caffeine while maintaining the important flavour compounds in the coffee. The coffee is then rinsed and dried.ROASTER'S OPINIONLess Caffeine. Full Flavor. Our Balanced Decaf delivers a clean and classic Colombian cup profile: sweet, balanced, and approachable with excellent clarity. Created for those looking to reduce caffeine without compromising on quality, this coffee offers all the comfort and flavour of specialty coffee - without caffeine. For many years, we said no to decaf. Today, a new generation of decaffeination is changing that: Using a natural sugarcane EA process, caffeine is gently removed while preserving sweetness, structure, and the coffee’s origin character.Store in a cold and dry space.
