The taste of this black leaf tea is truly exquisite, slightly flowery, with noticeable honey and spice undertones. The term „kou-cha” can be translated as „a tea of crimson colour”. Such designation was coined thanks to Japanese soft water, which would turn dark red with a hint of blue, when infused with black tea’s leaves. That’s also why, in the past, wakocha was referred to as „red tea”. When brewed in water of medium hardness, more typical of the European countries, the tea takes on a colour of dark amber. Moya Wakocha is cultivated and processed in the Mie region on the island of Honshu.Black tea wakocha is ideally suited as a companion for meals and desserts, the sweetness of which is subtly broken with the tea’s bitter undertones. Just as any other black tea, wakocha, once harvested, undergoes the process of drying and fermentation, which sets it apart from green teas.COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: JapanFLAVOUR: delicate, vegetal with bitterish undertonesCOLOUR: clear yellow-green hueINGREDIENTS: 100% organic Japanese wakochaHOW TO PREPARE WAKOCHA?VOLUME: 2-3 g / 150 mlTEMPERATURE: 90-95°CINFUSION TIME: 3-4 minMULTIPLE INFUSIONS: 1Store in a cold and dry space.

Taiwanese Hong Shui, meaning “Red Water,” stands at the boundary between two worlds. It is oxidized so heavily that it could be mistaken for a black tea, yet it is produced and rolled with the craftsmanship typical of oolongs. As a result, it takes the best from both styles, offering the honeyed sweetness and depth of black tea alongside the light, refined texture characteristic of oolongs. Green tea by Teasome. Jasmine Green is the most common high quality jasmine tea. It is the first spring leaves of a young Guangxi green tea with the powerful aroma of jasmine flowers. The natural process of flavouring this tea lies in spacing the leaves on a wide bamboo tray and arranging them in alternating vertical stacks with trays full of freshly cut jasmine buds. During the night, the flowers open up and release their aroma, which enters into the tea. The following day they are replaced with new buds. Our Jasmine Green were flavoured this way as many as 3 times! However, the main aspect of jasmine tea is not just the natural flavouring process, but the leaves themselves. Our tea’s leaves are from a high-altitude ao Feng green tea, which has a gentle, fresh taste. The flavouring process took place in early summer, after which the tea was immediately vacuum-packed and sent over. Therefore, we can guarantee that it will be hard to find another fresh jasmine tea like this one.Origin: Guangxi, ChinaCultivar: Bai MaoProfile: jasmine, jasmine, jasmine! How to brew:4g tea / 250ml water / 80°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minCold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water.
