ABOUT THE FARM
The Karana community is made up of 377 smallholder farmers operating in the Kintamani region of Bali, Indonesia. The group operates under the philosophy of maintaining a harmonious relationship between agriculture and local heritage. The farms here are situated at an average altitude of 1,200 meters and cover a total area of approximately 477 hectares, where the S795 and Kartika coffee varieties are cultivated.
Fun factOur coffee is part of the "Community Coffees" program, which highlights the unique character of a specific terroir and/or rewards groups of growers who strive to stand out from the crowd.
