Teasome - Gyokuro Saemidori - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

The most noble of Japanese teas. Gyokuro is sometimes described as “leafy matcha” because, like matcha, it is grown in darkness. For three weeks before harvest, the tea garden is covered with traditional jikagise mats. Each day, additional layers are added, eventually blocking as much as 94% of sunlight. As a result, the plants produce increased levels of caffeine, amino acids, and chlorophyll, which directly shape the character of the infusion. The leaves are smaller, but consequently far richer and more concentrated.  Gyokuro has an intoxicatingly marine flavor, a strikingly vivid color, a heady aroma of green vegetables, and the depth of a rich broth. It is sweet, dense, and lightly saline. This tea embodies all the ideals of Japanese tea, a powerful offering with an almost ceremonial status.Origin: Kagoshima, JaponiaCultivar: SaemidoriProfile: groszek cukrowy, bulion, sól morskaHow to brew:European style:4g tea / 250ml water / 60°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minJapan style:5g tea / 250ml water / 60°C temp.First brew: 60 s. / Second brew: 15 s. / Third brew: 60 s. Ceremonial style: 5g tea / 30ml waterFirst brew: 60°C / Second brew: 70°C / Third brew: 80°CFirst brew: 2 min / Second brew: 0 s / Third brew: 3 minIngredients: green tea.Store in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - Huoshan Yellow Buds - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

One of the three most famous yellow teas. Huoshan Huang Ya, also known as Yellow Buds from Huoshan, is a classic yellow tea with a fresh, floral aroma and an incredibly complex flavor.Yellow tea is produced through a special processing of green tea, during which all the flavors typical of it, the grassy notes and fresh vegetal character, disappear. As a result of the yellowing process, the flavors that usually remain in the background in green tea come to the forefront. Yellow tea is therefore floral, nutty, and gently straw-like. In a word: refined.Origin: Anhui, ChinyCultivar: Jin Ji ZhongProfile: szparagi, blanszowane warzywa, bulionHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 80°CFirst brew: 1,5min / Second brew: 1,5 min / Third brew: 3minIngredients: yellow teaStore in a cold and dry space.

In this case, the rocky aromas are also accompanied by a hint of black pepper.Origin: Yunnan, ChinaCultivar: Yunnan Da YeProfile: wet earth, chalk, black pepperHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min.Ingredients: Pu-erh tea.Store in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - GABA Oolong - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Olong GABA tea by Teasome. GABA teas are the result of a successful experiment with tea. Developed in the 1980s in Japan, they were designed to naturally produce the highest levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has proven to have a beneficial effect on our nervous system. Some time later, it appeared that Taiwanese oolongs produced using this method tasted very delicious. An incidental, yet pleasant side-effect, right? The whole trick consists of anaerobic processing of freshly picked leaves, and then continuing the standard tea production process as normal. The GABA Oolong we have to offer is medium-oxidised and is delicately roasted, which retains a lot of natural sweetness. You can find the sweetness of watermelon, strawberries and forest fruits, but also of maple syrup or linden honey. There is a reason why these teas have become incredibly popular in recent years.Origin: Nantou, TaiwanCultivar: Qing Xin, Bai Lu (#17)Profile: strawberry, watermelon, maple syrupHow to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min.Gongfu style:5-6g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 50 s. / Second brew: 60 s. / Third brew: 75 s. / multiply every 15 s. for 6-7 brews.Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Golden Monkey - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Black tea by Teasome. Golden Monkey (Jin Hou) is one of the most popular red (‘’black’’) teas in Fujian province. The fine, tightly rolled leaves have distinct, golden glimmers, indicating the young buds and a single leaf were from an early spring harvest. This, of course, produces a quality brew; there’s a reason why you can find this tea with bulkier leaves in the majority of shops at a low price. Only a fresh, spring Golden Monkey however demonstrates its true nature - deep cocoa, peppery-mustard notes and an incredible leaf to serving ratio.Perhaps you are wondering why exactly a handful of leaves are named Golden Monkey? The secret lies, as always, in the combination of Chinese imagination and the tea’s appearance. Fine, supple black-golden leaves are covered in a thick fluff that is somewhat reminiscent of little furry animals.Origin: Fujian, ChinaCultivar: Jin Guan YinProfile: cocoa, buckwheat honey, nutmeg. How to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minGongfu style:5g tea/ 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 10s. / Second brew: 10s. / Third brew: 10s. / Fourth brew: 15s. / every next brew - a little longer.Cold brew:

Teasome - Jasmine Green - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Green tea by Teasome. Jasmine Green is the most common high quality jasmine tea. It is the first spring leaves of a young Guangxi green tea with the powerful aroma of jasmine flowers. The natural process of flavouring this tea lies in spacing the leaves on a wide bamboo tray and arranging them in alternating vertical stacks with trays full of freshly cut jasmine buds. During the night, the flowers open up and release their aroma, which enters into the tea. The following day they are replaced with new buds. Our Jasmine Green were flavoured this way as many as 3 times! However, the main aspect of jasmine tea is not just the natural flavouring process, but the leaves themselves. Our tea’s leaves are from a high-altitude ao Feng green tea, which has a gentle, fresh taste. The flavouring process took place in early summer, after which the tea was immediately vacuum-packed and sent over. Therefore, we can guarantee that it will be hard to find another fresh jasmine tea like this one.Origin: Guangxi, ChinaCultivar: Bai MaoProfile: jasmine, jasmine, jasmine! How to brew:4g tea / 250ml water / 80°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minCold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Magnolia Oolong - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

A refreshing combination of light oolong with pure Chinese magnolia blossom. It is an especially fitting composition, as tea, Camellia sinensis, originally evolved from magnolia. Together, these plants create an infusion with a light, naturally sweet taste and a distinctly floral aroma. The aroma is pleasant yet exceptionally intense, easily noticeable throughout the entire room during brewing. Unlike artificially flavored teas, the fragrance does not fade after the first infusion. Quite the opposite. As befits an oolong tea, the leaves can be brewed multiple times, with subsequent infusions producing an even more floral cup than the firstOrigin: Guanxi, ChinaCultivar: Qing XinProfile: magnolia, chamomile, bee pollenHow to brew: European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C tempFirst brew: 1,5 min / Second brew: 2 min / Third brew: 3 min.Gongfu style:5-6g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 50 s / Second brew: 60 s / Third brew: 75 s / multiply every 15 s. for 6-7 brews.Ingredients: oolong tea, magnolias flowerStore in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - Pine Needle - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

A fresh, brisk green tea with leaves shaped like pine needles. It has been produced in small quantities for over 400 years by local communities in Anhua, China. In our opinion, this is the finest example of classic Chinese green tea. Pine Needle, also known as Song Zhen, may not have achieved the widespread fame of giants like Long Jing, but it remains a niche tea, beautiful in its traditional simplicity. It is distinguished by the floral character typical of Chinese green teas and a deep, sweet flavor reminiscent of blanched green vegetables. This is the essence of Chinese green tea, unclouded by surprising flavor twists, yet surprising in how well true classic simplicity works.Origin: Hunan, ChinyCultivar: Yuntai Shan Da YeProfile: broccoli, sugar snap peas, sea saltHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 80°C tempFirst brew: 1,5 min / Second brew: 1,5 min / Third brew: 3 minIngredients: green teaStore in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - Spring Tips - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Green tea by Teasome. Spring Tips is our offer for admirers of the most traditional Chinese green teas. This spring tea is simultaneously very complicated, and yet quite simple and approachable. Its complexity lies primarily in its sophisticated flavour. The fresh flowers that dominate the aroma of the leaves give way to vegetal-fruity flavours during the first brew. All three blend brilliantly into a single entity, as seen in the classic example of Mao Jian tea (as it is known in China). The tea is also very approachable and undemanding. Anyone who is fond of traditional green teas will also definitely appreciate Spring Tips. The tea’s character is very subdued and never strays into any extremes. Perfect as an everyday, favourite green tea.Origin: Hunan, ChinaCultivar: Fuding Xiao KeProfile: fresh flowers, green veggies, honeydew melonHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 80°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minCold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Yogi Masala - Lose tea 75 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Yogi Masala is the best spice blend for the famous Indian chai masala that we have managed to find on the market. It is based on warming spices, skillfully complemented by fennel and orange peel. The blend contains cut spices rather than ground powder, which allows them to retain their freshness much longer and keeps their flavor from becoming dull or “faded,” as is often the case with ready-made mixes.  To get the most out of Yogi Masala, it is best to simmer the blend for at least several minutes. The resulting decoction can be confidently combined with strong black tea, milk, honey, or sugar. Perfect for a big mug, ideally paired with a blanket and a book. It also works very well brewed on its own in a mug, just like any herbal blend. We should add that if you find it hard to get through winter without a daily dose of chai masala, you can easily prepare a large batch in advance. It will keep well in the refrigerator for up to several weeks, and the finished drink can be made quickly whenever you like.Origin: IndiaProfile: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, fennel, orange peelHow to brew:1 tsp. blend / 250ml water / 100°C temp.Simmer covered for 15 minutes, then generously add to sweet black tea with milk to prepare a perfect Chai Masala.Ingredients: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, fennel, orange peel.Store in a cold and dry space.
