One of the three most famous yellow teas. Huoshan Huang Ya, also known as Yellow Buds from Huoshan, is a classic yellow tea with a fresh, floral aroma and an incredibly complex flavor.
Yellow tea is produced through a special processing of green tea, during which all the flavors typical of it, the grassy notes and fresh vegetal character, disappear. As a result of the yellowing process, the flavors that usually remain in the background in green tea come to the forefront. Yellow tea is therefore floral, nutty, and gently straw-like. In a word: refined.
