White Ruby is a rare white tea from Taiwan. It is distinguished by an unusual aroma associated with menthol, camphor, and coniferous forest notes. Its large, beautiful leaves with subtle purple highlights produce a light yet deeply satisfying infusion. We openly admit that this is one of the finest white teas we have ever had the pleasure to drink.
Its character is primarily shaped by the use of the Taiwanese Hong Yu #18 cultivar, known as Ruby, which was discovered in 1999. This tea is produced in very small quantities and harvested twice a year, in spring and winter.
