Teasome - Hojicha Powder - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Powdered green tea by Teasome. At last we have a powdered hojicha for you! There’s no denying that everyone has already heard about matcha, but hojicha is now having its moment in the sun. Growing in popularity with western lovers of Japanese cuisine, the tea is perfect in a hojicha latte, in a tea-alternative to tiramisu or in a delicious ice cream. Our hojicha powder comes exclusively from high-grade sencha leaves that are subjected to a traditional sand-roasting and later, a very finely milling. It retains its aroma even after baking and gives baked-goods the unique flavour of roasted tea, reminiscent of caramel and nuts.We like to experiment, so we also prepared quite a few recipes with hojicha powder - for example, why not check out Hojicha Mochi brownie! How to brew:Hojicha latte:2 g of powder / 250 ml of your favorite milkAdd the hojicha powder to a tall glass, pour in hot milk, and stir vigorously until fully dissolved (to prevent lumps from forming, first dissolve the powder in a small amount of warm water).Ingredients: powdered green tea  Store in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - GABA Oolong - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Olong GABA tea by Teasome. GABA teas are the result of a successful experiment with tea. Developed in the 1980s in Japan, they were designed to naturally produce the highest levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has proven to have a beneficial effect on our nervous system. Some time later, it appeared that Taiwanese oolongs produced using this method tasted very delicious. An incidental, yet pleasant side-effect, right? The whole trick consists of anaerobic processing of freshly picked leaves, and then continuing the standard tea production process as normal. The GABA Oolong we have to offer is medium-oxidised and is delicately roasted, which retains a lot of natural sweetness. You can find the sweetness of watermelon, strawberries and forest fruits, but also of maple syrup or linden honey. There is a reason why these teas have become incredibly popular in recent years.Origin: Nantou, TaiwanCultivar: Qing Xin, Bai Lu (#17)Profile: strawberry, watermelon, maple syrupHow to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min.Gongfu style:5-6g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 50 s. / Second brew: 60 s. / Third brew: 75 s. / multiply every 15 s. for 6-7 brews.Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Hojicha Sand Roasted - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Green tea by Teasome. Hojicha is a Japanese green tea that is produced in an unusual manner - it contains not only tea leaves, but primarily of chopped up roasted stems. The result is a tea with an original flavour that is reminiscent of freshly baked brown bread. The majority of hojicha on the western market is finely cut and strongly roasted. We, on the other hand, wanted to present you with something unique - a hojicha with long, lovely stems, subjected to a lighter sand roasting. This method goes back to the Edo period (17th - 19th centuries). The stems come from a spring harvest (sencha), whereas the leaves were from a second harvest (bancha). You can still see a distinct green reflection in them both. This tea has actually preserved a noticeable fresh green tea aftertaste, but the bready, woody, even mineral notes clearly dominate. Hojicha is often drunk after meals and also in the evenings as it contains a lot less caffeine than leafy teas.Origin: Kyoto, JapanCultivar: mixedProfile: well-baked bread, hazelnut, black currant. How to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minJapan style: 3g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 40s. / Second brew: 5s. Teasome - Ya Bao Wild Buds - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

White tea by Teasome. Ya Bao, meaning wild buds from a tea tree, comes from Yunnan, pu-erh’s homeland; here it’s possible to hear it frequently referred to as ‘white pu-erh’. However, this is not the tea’s only unique element. As its appearance suggests, this really is a one-of-a-kind tea.Ya Bao is primarily composed of dormant buds, which are picked at the very beginning of the calendar year after the Yunnan winter. These buds are firmly built and full of a crisp, resinous-piney aroma; in the future these buds would develop not into leaves, but into young branches. Their appearance is a real preview of spring. It’s actually hard to talk about this tea like it’s a typical brew. Its history and appearance are completely different to all other teas; the same can be said for its taste. It’s endlessly pleasant, the sweet flavour is associated with the aroma of resin, hops, pine, with the delicate fruitiness of apricots or peaches biting through. The brew never becomes bitter, even after sitting in boiling water for several minutes. Buds soaked overnight in cold water produce an exquisite cold brew.Origin: Yunnan, ChinaCultivar: Yunnan Da YeProfile: peach, resin, pine needlesHow to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 5 min / Second brew: 10 minGongfu style:5g tea / 100ml water / teamp. 95°C Firts brew: 30s. / Second brew: 20s. / Third brew: 30s. / Fourth brew: 45s. / every next brew - a little longerCold brew: 15g tea / 1000ml cold water (5°C ). Teasome - Oolong Da Hong Pao - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

The famous oolong Da Hong Pao, also known as Big Red Robe, is a Chinese tea shrouded in many mysteries... and often poorly understood. And it's no wonder, as it has a truly convoluted history. The original mother bushes of this tea are probably the six most closely guarded tea bushes in the world. Tea is no longer produced from them, and the Da Hong Pao available everywhere is most often a blend of various rock tea cultivars. Our offered Da Hong Pao comes from the Wuyi Mountains and is produced from a blend of various cultivars. The goal is to best capture the flavor of the original rock teas (yancha). It is a good quality tea, inviting slow exploration of the character of roasted oolongs. It's easy to find the highly desired mineral notes, as well as cocoa or fruity ones. It's worth noting that Da Hong Pao withstands a large number of infusions, so you can enjoy a single portion of leaves for a very long time.Origin: Fujian, ChinyCultivar: mixedProfile: cocoa, rock salt, cherimoya fruitHow to brew: European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min.Gongfu style:6g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 10 s / Second brew: 10 s / Third brew: 10 s / Fourth brew: 15 s / every next brew - a little longer. Ingredients: oolong teaStore in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - Ancient Ripe Pu-erh - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Teasome Ancient Ripe Pu-erh is a herbal loose-leaf tea. Ancient Ripe Pu-erh is a fermented tea with an earthy, mineral flavor. It is one of the most comfortable and warming teas, despite its strength the infusion never enters bitterness or astringency. This pu-erh is made from gushu, or ancient trees that are at least a century old. The age of the tree has a profound effect on the tea; as the years pass, the leaves gain character, and the tree's roots reach farther back, drawing more minerality from the earth. In this case, the rocky aromas are also accompanied by a hint of black pepper.Origin: Yunnan, ChinaCultivar: Yunnan Da YeProfile: wet earth, chalk, black pepperHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min.Ingredients: Pu-erh tea.Store in a cold and dry space.

Teasome - Genmaicha Yamabuki - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Genmaicha Yamabuki by Teasome. Genmaicha is a popular Japanese green tea that is blended half and half with roasted rice. It works well as an everyday tea and the Japanese often drink it after hearty meals. Roasted Japanese Hokkaido rice perfectly compliments a classic sencha, giving the brew depth and character.Wait, wait… sencha? That’s right. However, the most common genmaicha is the blend of rice and bancha (second flush tea), which is usually not very high quality. However, in this case we are dealing with our Sencha Yamabuki, which is a fresh first flush tea. As a result, this tea is a genuine exception on the market. The rice doesn’t mask the weak quality leaves but rather it enriches them with roasty, grainy notes.Origin: Kagoshina (tea), Hokkaido (rice), JapanCultivar: Yabukita/Asanoka

Teasome - Golden Lily Oolong - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Oolong tea by Teasome. Jin Xuan, aka Golden Lily, is simply the translation of one of Taiwan’s most famous cultivars (numbered #12 in Taiwan). It is often coincidentally connected with Milk Oolong; a name we also had called it - however, it is absolutely not flavoured with milk! This would be against our philosophy, because at the end of the day, we only offer natural teas, and naturally flavoured teas. Here’s the thing - Jin Xuan is a unique, naturally sweet cultivar with characteristically milky-buttery notes. Perhaps it’s hard to believe, but the tea leaves really do smell and taste similar to sweet milk! There are also floral notes, like lilies or rose petals. It’s not surprising that despite being a young cultivar, it has quickly gained a huge following in Taiwan.Milk Oolong, which is becoming more and more popular in the West, is most often a low grade tea treated with artificial flavourings, in an attempt to make a flavour that strongly reminds us of milk. We, however, suggest going to the source and discovering the natural sweetness of Golden Lily, which openly and uninhibitedly invites you to see the rich world of Taiwanese oolongsOrigin: Jiayi, TaiwanCultivar: Jin Xuan (#12)Profile: milk, honey, lilies. How to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 1,5 min / Second brew: 2 min / Third brew: 3 min.Gongfu style:5-6g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 50 s. / Second brew: 60 s. / Third brew: 75 s. / multiply every 15 s. for 6-7 brews.Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. A true delicacy from the Taklamakan Desert: dried Damask rose buds with an enchanting aroma of fresh flowers. Harvested by local communities specializing in this craft on plantations located in the Hetian oasis, they are a genuine rarity on the European market. Picked in late spring, the buds retain their freshness for a very long time.As it turns out, rose buds are not nearly as sweet or intoxicating in flavor as one might expect. A clear, refreshing infusion is gently accompanied by a distinct yet pleasant floral taste. We recommend them as a caffeine-free alternative to tea, especially due to their well-known calming and relaxing properties. They are also worth trying as an addition to your favorite tea. Teasome - Gyokuro Saemidori - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

The most noble of Japanese teas. Gyokuro is sometimes described as “leafy matcha” because, like matcha, it is grown in darkness. For three weeks before harvest, the tea garden is covered with traditional jikagise mats. Each day, additional layers are added, eventually blocking as much as 94% of sunlight. As a result, the plants produce increased levels of caffeine, amino acids, and chlorophyll, which directly shape the character of the infusion. The leaves are smaller, but consequently far richer and more concentrated.  Gyokuro has an intoxicatingly marine flavor, a strikingly vivid color, a heady aroma of green vegetables, and the depth of a rich broth. It is sweet, dense, and lightly saline. This tea embodies all the ideals of Japanese tea, a powerful offering with an almost ceremonial status.Origin: Kagoshima, JaponiaCultivar: SaemidoriProfile: groszek cukrowy, bulion, sól morskaHow to brew:European style:4g tea / 250ml water / 60°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minJapan style:5g tea / 250ml water / 60°C temp.First brew: 60 s. / Second brew: 15 s. / Third brew: 60 s. Ceremonial style: 5g tea / 30ml waterFirst brew: 60°C / Second brew: 70°C / Third brew: 80°CFirst brew: 2 min / Second brew: 0 s / Third brew: 3 minIngredients: green tea.Store in a cold and dry space.
Teasome - Moroccan Blend - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Teasome Moroccan Blend is the combination of gunpowder green tea and spearmint,  traditionally found in hot, arid countries. It also makes for a great drink after a hearty meal - after all we are talking about mint! Teasome - Golden Tips - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Black tea by Teasome. Golden Tips is a perfect example of a classic Yunnan black tea. Early spring harvests full of young leaves and tiny, golden coloured buds guarantees a complex but very approachable flavour. Within this tea we find characteristic honey notes, but also flavours closer to fruit, such as dates or peaches. A perfect choice for fans of sweeter, traditional black teas. Before brewing, the aroma of the leaves alone heralds the ‘’dessertiness’ of Golden Tips. Fittingly for teas from Yunnan, the leaves are bigger than those found in the majority of other teas. The amount of potential infusions is also larger. It’s worth allowing the golden tips to demonstrate its character at least a few times!Origin: Yunnan, ChinaCultivar: Yunnan Da YeProfile: date molasses, peach, chokeberry. How to brew it:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 4 minGongfu style:5g tea / 100ml water/ 95°C temp.First brew: 30s. / Second brew: 15s. / Third brew: 30s. / Fourth brew: 40s. / every next brew - a little longer.Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Jasmine Green - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Green tea by Teasome. Jasmine Green is the most common high quality jasmine tea. It is the first spring leaves of a young Guangxi green tea with the powerful aroma of jasmine flowers. The natural process of flavouring this tea lies in spacing the leaves on a wide bamboo tray and arranging them in alternating vertical stacks with trays full of freshly cut jasmine buds. During the night, the flowers open up and release their aroma, which enters into the tea. The following day they are replaced with new buds. Our Jasmine Green were flavoured this way as many as 3 times! However, the main aspect of jasmine tea is not just the natural flavouring process, but the leaves themselves. Our tea’s leaves are from a high-altitude ao Feng green tea, which has a gentle, fresh taste. The flavouring process took place in early summer, after which the tea was immediately vacuum-packed and sent over. Therefore, we can guarantee that it will be hard to find another fresh jasmine tea like this one.Origin: Guangxi, ChinaCultivar: Bai MaoProfile: jasmine, jasmine, jasmine! How to brew:4g tea / 250ml water / 80°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minCold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Teasome - Ruby #18 - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Ruby #18 is a tea that is hard to compare to any other. Also known as Ruby Tea, it captivates with its unique piney, camphor-like aroma.  Opening the package greets us with a distinctive menthol aroma of camphor and coniferous forest, while the infusion, with its deep ruby color, adds the sweetness of buckwheat honey and a slightly heavier spicy note. The overall experience is intense and, despite the many light, ethereal aromas, Ruby clearly shows the character of strong black teas from Assam. This is no coincidence. In the early 20th century, the first plantations using Camellia assamica bushes imported from Burma were established in the Sun Moon Lake region, where most Taiwanese black teas are produced today.Origin: Nantou, TajwanCultivar: Hong Yu #18Profile: pine, camphor, ripe quinceHow to brew:European style:4g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2min / Second brew: 3min / Third brew: 5minGongfu style:5g tea / 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 10s. / Second brew: 10s. / Third brew: 10s. / Fourth brew: 15s. / every next brew - a little longer.Ingredients: black teaStore in a cold and dry space.
Teasome - Sencha Yamabuki - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Roasting date: 15.10.2026

Green Tea by Teasome. A high-quality sencha at a great price straight from the Kagoshima Prefecture. The glistening dark leaves create a clear brew with a bright green hue. A diverse set of flavours hide within them – from blanched green vegetables, through to roasted nuts, and finally a flavour akin to a salty bouillon. This a surprising combination as this tea is not only taken from Yabukita bushes, but a large proportion of the leaves come from the new Asanoka cultivar (invented in the 1990s).We are delighted that we are able to have this tea in our selection. It is difficult to get a better price to quality ratio, especially when you take care to get teas of certified Japanese cultivation. For all fans of Japanese teas, we also recommend you try our Genmaicha Yamabuki; the blend of sencha with roasted rice from the Hokkaido Island.Origin: Kagoshima, JapanCultivar: Yabukita/AsanokaProfile: pineapple, honeydew melon, green veggiesHow to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 80°C temp.First brew: 1,5 min / Second brew: 1,5 min / Third brew: 3 minJapan style:4g tea / 80ml waterTemp: First brew: 70°C / Second brew: 85°C / Third brew: 95°C Time: First brew: 60s. / Second brew: 5s. / Third brew: 5s.Cold brew: 15g tea / 1000ml cold water (5°C). Teasome - Amber Heart Ripe Pu-Erh - Loose Tea 50 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Amber Heart is a fermented shu pu-erh tea (ripe), where the typical earthiness is complemented by an unusual sweetness. The infusion is smooth and warming, with notes of wood and warming spices. Unlike “raw” sheng pu-erh, shu pu-erh is free of bitterness and gentle on the stomach.  We named it Amber Heart because of the dark golden color of the infusion and the unusual shape of the leaves: small nuggets formed like hearts. This type of tea is known in China as Lao Cha Tou.During the production of shu pu-erh, the leaves are piled into heaps and sprayed with water to provide additional moisture that accelerates fermentation. Lao Cha Tou comes from the very bottom of these piles, where fermentation takes place in the highest humidity. The most intense flavors and sugars from the entire batch collect there, making these nuggets noticeably sweeter than typical shu pu-erh.Origin: Yunnan, ChinyCultivar: Yunnan Da YeProfile: mokra ziemia, cukier, drewnoHow to brew:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min /  Third brew: 5 minIngredients: herbata pu-erhStore in a cold and dry space.
Teasome - Golden Monkey - Loose Tea 50g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Black tea by Teasome. Golden Monkey (Jin Hou) is one of the most popular red (‘’black’’) teas in Fujian province. The fine, tightly rolled leaves have distinct, golden glimmers, indicating the young buds and a single leaf were from an early spring harvest. This, of course, produces a quality brew; there’s a reason why you can find this tea with bulkier leaves in the majority of shops at a low price. Only a fresh, spring Golden Monkey however demonstrates its true nature - deep cocoa, peppery-mustard notes and an incredible leaf to serving ratio.Perhaps you are wondering why exactly a handful of leaves are named Golden Monkey? The secret lies, as always, in the combination of Chinese imagination and the tea’s appearance. Fine, supple black-golden leaves are covered in a thick fluff that is somewhat reminiscent of little furry animals.Origin: Fujian, ChinaCultivar: Jin Guan YinProfile: cocoa, buckwheat honey, nutmeg. How to brew:European style:5g tea / 250ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 minGongfu style:5g tea/ 100ml water / 95°C temp.First brew: 10s. / Second brew: 10s. / Third brew: 10s. / Fourth brew: 15s. / every next brew - a little longer.Cold brew:

Teasome - Yogi Masala - Lose tea 75 g

Manufacturer: TEASOME

Yogi Masala is the best spice blend for the famous Indian chai masala that we have managed to find on the market. It is based on warming spices, skillfully complemented by fennel and orange peel. The blend contains cut spices rather than ground powder, which allows them to retain their freshness much longer and keeps their flavor from becoming dull or “faded,” as is often the case with ready-made mixes.  To get the most out of Yogi Masala, it is best to simmer the blend for at least several minutes. The resulting decoction can be confidently combined with strong black tea, milk, honey, or sugar. Perfect for a big mug, ideally paired with a blanket and a book. It also works very well brewed on its own in a mug, just like any herbal blend. We should add that if you find it hard to get through winter without a daily dose of chai masala, you can easily prepare a large batch in advance. It will keep well in the refrigerator for up to several weeks, and the finished drink can be made quickly whenever you like.Origin: IndiaProfile: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, fennel, orange peelHow to brew:1 tsp. blend / 250ml water / 100°C temp.Simmer covered for 15 minutes, then generously add to sweet black tea with milk to prepare a perfect Chai Masala.Ingredients: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, fennel, orange peel.Store in a cold and dry space.
