Black tea by Teasome. Golden Tips is a perfect example of a classic Yunnan black tea. Early spring harvests full of young leaves and tiny, golden coloured buds guarantees a complex but very approachable flavour. Within this tea we find characteristic honey notes, but also flavours closer to fruit, such as dates or peaches. A perfect choice for fans of sweeter, traditional black teas.
Before brewing, the aroma of the leaves alone heralds the ‘’dessertiness’ of Golden Tips. Fittingly for teas from Yunnan, the leaves are bigger than those found in the majority of other teas. The amount of potential infusions is also larger. It’s worth allowing the golden tips to demonstrate its character at least a few times!

Cultivar: Yunnan Da Ye
Profile: date molasses, peach, chokeberry.
How to brew it:
5g tea / 250ml water / 90°C temp.
First brew: 2 min / Second brew: 3 min / Third brew: 5 min
Cold brew: 10g tea / 1000ml cold water. Leave in the fridge for 12 hours and stir well.
