Highest quality organic matcha from the youngest and finest leaves of the first harvest. Used for traditional tea ceremony, it possesses a rich mellow sweet taste and creamy texture and is distinguished by its vibrant jade green colour. Moya Matcha Premium is obtained in the 1st harvest from tea plants that are specially shaded from direct sunlight. This results in higher chlorophyll and L-Theanine contents and a richer, greener color. Only the finest, most delicate fresh leaves are collected, dried and ground to powder.Moya Matcha Premium is grown in the Uji region of Kyoto Prefecture, known for the cultivation of highest quality green tea for over 800 years. The Uji region is famous for its fertile soils and clean water. The green tea plants there have ideal conditions for growth thanks to hills providing good sunlight, frequent mists that protect delicate leaves from frost and high amount of rainfall. Moya Matcha is meticulously cultivated and harvested on small family-owned organic tea fields. It is then processed locally in Japan and dispatched in small batches to assure peak freshness for all our grades. This helps preserve all the qualities of the tea leaf and maintain high levels of minerals and antioxidants.COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: JapanTASTE: umami, rich mellow sweet tasteRECOMMENDED FOR: matcha ceremony, with hot/cold waterINGREDIENTS: 100% organic matcha green tea from premium 1st harvest leavesMATCHA PREPARATIONThe traditional way to prepare matcha comes from the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It involves using a matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk- chasen and a bamboo spoon- chashaku. Place 2 chashaku spoons of matcha (1,5g) in a matcha bowl and pour 100ml of hot water (80 °C). Chasen in hand, vigorously whisk your matcha from the wrist in m-shaped, not circular, motion. In about 20 seconds your bowl should be filled with a perfect jade-green foam. You can add more water now if you like your matcha to be less strong.Mixing your matcha with a milk frother is just as easy. Add a flat teaspoon of matcha (1,5g) to a cup or glass and pour over with 100ml of hot water. Mix well and add more water. 1 teaspoon will usually give you 200-250ml of matcha drink. Just like with coffee, some people like to drink a strong matcha espresso, others prefer to add more water. You can also mix matcha with juice or milk.Store in a cold and dry space.

Chinese matcha tea by Long Man Tea. Matcha is a powdered green tea that was invented in China during the Tang Dynasty between the 7th and 10th centuries. They believed that it cleared the mind and body. Over time, the development of the tea industry grew along with the Chinese empire. A huge selection of loose-leaf teas, slowly replaced matcha. In Japan, the matcha brewing ceremony was an indispensable element of the functioning of Zen Buddhist orders, later the ceremony was taken over by the Shogun class. The difference between Chinese and Japanese matcha:Chinese has a darker color and a slightly more tart taste. A tea with a honey-floral bouquet, combining the depth of black tea with the freshness of unfermented tea. Produced in the Darjeeling style, this tea undergoes deep withering before rolling. Longer withering allows the aromas to concentrate and brings out natural honey sweetness with subtle spicy notes.ABOUT THE TEAIn the cup, the tea displays a distinct honey-floral profile with a fresh yet subtly spiced character. Brightness and lightness combine with delicate warmth, creating a multilayered and elegant bouquet. The tea shares the structure of a lightly oxidized black tea while maintaining the clarity of a green tea.To obtain 500 kg of this grade of tea, approximately 2 tons of finished tea are processed. Around 1.5 tons are sorted into smaller grades, leaving only the most refined leaves for this variety.Technically speaking, calling this tea Darjeeling would be incorrect, as it is produced in the Ilam region of Nepal, about 70 km from Darjeeling. For this reason, we simply named it Darj.It is worth noting that some Indian producers purchase Nepalese tea to subsequently blend it into Darjeeling teas. This reflects the close stylistic and geographical connections between these regions.Ingredients: 100% greenish black tea (Camellia sinensis)Origin: Ilam, NepalHarvest Altitude: 1,750–1,900 m a.s.l.Oxidation Level: 20–30%Weight: 100 gramsHOW TO BREWFiltered water at 85–90°C, 3–4 grams of tea per 300 ml of water, brew for 2–3 minutes.Store in a cool, dry place.

Noburu Matcha is a premium-grade matcha, sourced exclusively from the first harvest. Within OROMATCHA’s range, it is the most versatile offering — perfect both for traditional tea ceremonies and as a high-quality ingredient in matcha-based beverages. It represents an excellent balance of price and quality. OROMATCHA believes this matcha delivers an unparalleled flavor experience at an accessible price point, allowing customers to enjoy exceptional quality without spending a fortune. Noburu Matcha is crafted on the volcanic island of Kyūshū, in the globally renowned Kagoshima prefecture, famous for its tea tradition and for producing some of the world’s finest matcha. This is not another bitter, grassy matcha. OROMATCHA offers a matcha distinguished by its nutty flavor notes, hints of dark chocolate, a sweet finish, and a clearly pronounced umami character. Why a blend?A blend combines two or more tea varieties that complement each other’s characteristics. To create such a blend, the tea masters working with OROMATCHA taste leaves from various plantations and regions, selecting those that best contribute to the desired flavor, aroma, and color. This process enhances and stabilizes the flavor profile of the matcha. It allows the creation of consistent blends year after year, despite natural seasonal variations. The blend can highlight certain flavor notes while softening others, much like a painter mixing pigments to achieve the perfect shade for a vivid sunset. Similarly, a tea master designs a profile that engages multiple senses: taste, mouthfeel, aroma, vibrancy, and the way these elements evolve over time. This art requires years of training, learning, and experience.Tea blending is a craft that the masters collaborating with OROMATCHA refine over many years under the guidance of seasoned mentors. Just as in the worlds of wine or coffee, it is a highly specialized practice, and some tea masters have been studying it since childhood.Store in a cold and dry space.
Green tea with a warm floral profile: light, complex, and fresh, with notes of flowers, delicate greens, and gentle summer warmth. One of the most floral and delicate green teas from the Ilam region in Nepal.ABOUT THE TEAThis tea carries an unexpected warmth. The leaves undergo a decisive roasting process, preserving their clarity and structure. In its dry aroma, it reveals almost nothing of its freshness — the leaf appears gently roasted, reserved, and even withdrawn. Only after brewing does it release floral notes, green vitality, and its delicate, luminous complexity.Crafted from carefully selected leaves harvested in summer at an altitude of 1,750–1,900 meters, this tea reflects another side of Nepalese green tea. While first flush teas are often prized for their sharp and crisp aromatic profile, summer green teas feature a more rounded, cohesive profile. The texture becomes softer, the floral notes warmer, and the overall character more balanced. For this reason, summer green tea from Nepal is often valued more than first flush tea by those who prefer balance over intensity.Ingredients: 100% green tea (Camellia sinensis)Origin: Ilam, NepalHarvest Altitude: 1,750–1,900 m a.s.l.Oxidation Level: NoneNet Weight: 50 gHOW TO BREWFiltered water at 80–85°C, 3–4 grams of tea per 300 ml of water, brew for 2–3 minutes.Store in a cool, dry place.
In the aroma of the dried leaves, notes of pistachio and cream are detectable, and the tea's character leans toward smoothness and something familiar, like vanilla ice cream. The tea has a delicate roasted note that adds depth and shifts its profile away from intense, bright green notes toward something more rounded and balanced. It has a smooth and uniform consistency, is easy to prepare, and maintains consistency with every brew. It retains its qualities well in both lighter and more concentrated infusions.Ingredients: 100% green tea*From organic cultivation.Origin: Shizuoka, JapanBrewing Instructions: Its flexibility is its strength; it works great with water and reveals an interesting side when paired with milk. Brew for 2-3 min at 70°C.Processing Method: The leaves were harvested in the summer of 2025; prior to harvest, they were shaded from the sun for 12-16 days. Ground in March 2026.Store in a cold and dry space.
