Arcaffe Margo is a high-strength coffee blend with a delicate taste and chocolate notes. It consists of high-quality Arabica and Robusta beans in a 50/50 ratio. The Robusta varieties guarantee a distinct and dark crema, while the Arabica provides a unique flavour. The coffee beans have been dark-roasted, making the prepared brew exceptionally dark and creamy. The Margò blend comes from Arcaffe, an excellent Italian coffee roastery that has been operating since 1893. To this day, the company is distinguished by high quality that is able to satisfy even the most demanding coffee connoisseurs. The Margò blend is ideally suited for automatic espresso machines, portafilter machines, and moka pots. All that is required is the appropriate grinding of the coffee beans. Arcaffe Margò, being a combination of two coffee notes, is quite strong and creamy; therefore, it works perfectly as an espresso, but it is also ideal for preparing milk-based coffees such as caffè latte, flat white, or cappuccino. It was 1967 when the market asked for a rich and creamy coffee, and the Meschini family responded by creating the blend called Margò. This blend has always been the strongest in the range, made of Arabica coffee blended with Robusta from Brazil and India. Margò has a rich taste, with a perfect harmony between a long-lasting aftertaste and an intense body.Store in a cold and dry space.

Decaffeinated whole-bean coffee from Brazil roasted by Arcaffe in Italy. Medium roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. 100% selected arabica beans - delicate, light, yet flavourful. In 1975 the Meschini family decided to come up with an excellent decaffeinated coffee to offer it to coffee lovers who wanted to avoid the effects of caffeine but did not want to give up on their coffee break.Kuz became the name of our 100% arabica decaf originating from Brazil and offering the pleasure of a delicate, light, yet flavourful coffee. The decaffeination of Arcaffè Kuz coffee uses ethyl acetate, which selectively removes caffeine while preserving the other components responsible for the coffee's flavor and aroma. As a result, the coffee retains its organoleptic properties, comparable to regular coffee. Ethyl acetate residues are minimal, and due to its natural presence in coffee beans and its harmlessness to health, this process is entirely safe.Coffee is packed in a protective atmosphere using nitrogen which further reduces the possibility of oxidation.Store in a cold and dry space.

The dry, sunny conditions of Cerrado favor stable natural processing, giving the beans a clean, chocolate-forward character, while the Kenyan beans, fermented and dried on raised beds, develop a pronounced citrus acidity. The combination of these two components creates a harmonious chocolate-citrus profile with delicate notes of stone fruit.PROCESSINGAfter being imported to Europe, the Brazilian beans were decaffeinated using the supercritical CO₂ method, which selectively removes caffeine with minimal impact on the aroma and structure of the beans. As a result, LOW Juicy Fruit retains its full flavor, medium body, high sweetness, and lightly sparkling acidity, leading to a long, chocolate-citrus finish. We also verified the caffeine level in the final brew prepared according to the V60 protocol. In 250 g of brewed coffee, we measured 64.1 mg of caffeine, representing approximately a 70% reduction compared to the fully caffeinated version.ROASTER'S OPINIONStore in a cold and dry space.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Honduras, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of tropical fruits, strawberry, citrus fruits and flowers.Origin: HondurasFarm: Finca GonzaloVariety: ParainemaProcessing: HoneyAltitude: 1530 m a. s. l.ABOUT THE FARMSebastian Mejía Mejía runs Finca Gonzalo in La Peña, in the Santa Bárbara region of Honduras, at an altitude of 1,530 meters above sea level. He comes from a family of coffee growers who, after moving away from conventional production and spending a period raising cattle, eventually settled in their current location. It was here that Sebastian decided to focus on producing high-quality specialty coffee. The farm covers 2.8 hectares and yields approximately 70 quintals of coffee annually. The main variety is Parainema, complemented by a young Geisha plantation. About half of the coffee is grown under controlled shade. Sebastian uses fertilization based on chicken manure and coffee pulp, supplemented with local blends adjusted according to soil analysis. He regularly prunes the coffee trees and monitors pests and diseases such as coffee borer beetle, coffee leaf rust, and leaf spot. In addition to coffee, he also grows avocados, bananas, and blackberries, while preserving trees and minimizing the environmental impact of farming.PROCESSINGThe coffee is processed using the honey method. The cherries ferment for approximately 36 hours in plastic bags, after which they are depulped and undergo a second, dry fermentation lasting another 36 hours. After fermentation, the beans are dried in parabolic solar dryers for 15–18 days, with regular turning and hand sorting. Once dried, the coffee is packed and stored on the farm before being delivered to the exporter San Vicente. The honey process requires minimal water usage, supporting sustainable and responsible production.ROASTER’S OPINIONSebastian Mejía’s Parainema shows two distinct faces that complement each other exceptionally well. On one hand, it offers medium, well-developed, and complex acidity typical of the Parainema variety. On the other, the influence of the honey process is clearly evident, delivering high sweetness and an intensely fruity, juicy profile. The aroma is very pleasant and enveloping, dominated by notes of ripe strawberries and citrus, supported by subtle floral accents that add lightness and elegance. On the palate, the coffee unfolds in layers: pronounced sweetness of tropical fruits and strawberries combines with lively, clean acidity reminiscent of various ripe citrus fruits.Despite its high sweetness and noticeable acidity, the cup remains very well balanced, smooth, and free of bitterness. The coffee is fresh, refreshing, and extremely drinkable, while still surprising with its intensity and clarity of flavor—especially for a coffee from Honduras. It is a proposition that blends varietal classicism with the modern, fruit-forward character of the honey process.BREWINGUse your preferred method and recipe. Brew this coffee like any other, using water at around 95°C. It is very forgiving and difficult to mess up. Store in a cold and dry space.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of orange, flowers, candid fruits and red currant.Origin: KenyaFarm: Gitare Washing StationVariety: SL28, SL34Processing: Fully WashedAltitude: 1620-1830 m a. s. l.BOUT THE FARMGitare is a respected coffee mill located in the picturesque Kiambu region of Kenya, owned by the Gititu Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS). It has operated continuously since 1954, combining decades of tradition with extensive experience in producing top-quality coffee. The mill processes coffee cherries delivered by approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers, who together produce close to 2,500 tons of coffee annually. Many farmers practice intercropping, growing coffee alongside bananas and maize, which improves soil fertility and supports local biodiversity. Coffee pulp residues from processing are composted and reused as natural fertilizer, promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly farming methods. Thanks to a harmonious blend of traditional practices, modern processing techniques, and strong environmental stewardship, Gitare produces coffees with a distinctive character and a rich, multidimensional flavor profile, highly regarded on international markets.PROCESSINGThe first stage of processing is fermentation lasting approximately 24 hours. The beans are then thoroughly washed and transferred to a second fermentation tank for an additional 12–24 hours. After this stage, they pass through washing channels where lighter beans (so-called floaters) are separated, while the heavier beans are cleaned of remaining pulp.Following washing, the beans are soaked in water tanks for up to 24 hours. This stage encourages the development of amino acids and proteins, resulting in higher acidity and greater complexity of fruity notes—hallmark characteristics of Kenyan coffees. At the final stage, the beans are dried on African raised beds. Initially, they are spread in a thin layer to quickly remove about 50% of the moisture within roughly 6 hours. They are then piled more thickly and dried for an additional 5–10 days. The dried parchment coffee is delivered to the dry mill and later stored in ventilated warehouses, where it rests until it reaches a moisture content of approximately 11%.ROASTER’S OPINIONKenya Gitare presents a classic flavor profile characteristic of the Kiambu terroir. The coffee features well-developed, medium and complex acidity, balanced by high sweetness and a full, pronounced body. The aroma reveals notes of currants, candied fruit, and delicate floral accents. On the palate, blackcurrants and oranges dominate, complemented by the sweetness of candied fruits. The cup is harmonious and exceptionally well-balanced, with pleasant medium acidity and clear sweetness. The finish is long, clean, distinctly currant-forward, and deeply satisfying. A superb example of a classic coffee from the Kiambu region.BREW RECIPEThe sweetness and rich aroma of this coffee make it very easy to brew, with results that are usually close to expectations. To make things even easier, we recommend the following recipe, which allows the coffee to open up fully without excessive intensity.Drip method (e.g. Origami)18 g medium-coarse ground coffee (22 clicks on a Comandante)Water temperature: 95°CPour as follows:0:00 – 55 ml (stir the dripper)0:30 – 120 ml1:00 – 180 ml1:30 – 240 ml2:00 – 300 mlFinish with a gentle stir.Store in a cold and dry space.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Brazil, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of chocolate, cocoa and nuts.Country: BrazilRegion: Cerrado/Sul de MinasFarm: Rancho GrandeVarietal: Mundo Nuovo, Acaia, Yellow Bourbon, Processing: Natural CO2/NaturalAltitude: 950 - 1050 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEIn the package, you will find two coffees from Brazil, processed using the natural method: decaffeinated Mundo Novo from the Cerrado region and a caffeinated blend of Mundo Novo, Acaia, and Yellow Bourbon from the Rancho Grande farm in Sul de Minas. The dry, sunny conditions of Cerrado favor a clean, chocolate-forward profile with pronounced sweetness, while the slower drying on raised beds in the more humid microclimate of Rancho Grande creates greater complexity with notes of nuts and dried fruits. After import to Europe, some of the beans were decaffeinated using the supercritical CO₂ method, which effectively reduces caffeine with minimal impact on aroma and structure, allowing LOW Brownie to retain its full, balanced character. In the cup, chocolate and nuts dominate, with a delicate hint of dried fruits, high sweetness, medium body, low acidity, and a long, chocolate finish. We also verified the caffeine level in the final brew prepared according to the standardized V60 recipe. In 250 g of brewed coffee, we measured 54.4 mg of caffeine. Compared to the same coffee in its fully caffeinated version, this represents a real reduction of about 70% in caffeine content in the brewed coffee.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee has a consistent chocolate-nut character, enriched with a subtle hint of dried fruits that gently highlight the flavor, reminiscent of classic brownies. It is distinguished by pronounced sweetness, medium fullness, very low acidity, and aromas of cocoa and chocolate. The whole is completed by a long, chocolate finish and excellent balance. This is how LOW Brownie – our reduced-caffeine coffee – presents itself.Store in a cold and dry space.
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Mexico, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of toffi, lemon, plum and spices.Origin: MexicoRegion: Jaltenango, ChiapasProcessing: WashedMethod of decaffeination: Mountain Water ProcessVariety: BourbonAltitude: 1650-1800 m a. s. l.Farm: La TribuLa Tribu is a producer organization operating in the Jaltenango area and the Sierra Madre region of Mexico. The Bourbon variety beans found in this package come from 65 women farmers associated with La Tribu. These producers not only grow high-quality coffee but also actively strengthen their local communities and consistently develop their farms. Despite numerous structural barriers, La Tribu members invest every year both in their farms and in expanding their knowledge, striving for long-term stability and independence.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis lot is a carefully selected batch of coffee prepared by La Tribu that has undergone decaffeination. As with most coffees from Mexico, the Mountain Water Process was used, carried out in Veracruz. Despite the use of a water-based method, the coffee has retained its original sensory profile and character. The coffee went through two stages of processing. The first was post-harvest processing—in this case, the fully washed method. After delivery to the wet mill, the beans were hand-sorted and then placed in water. At this stage, another selection took place: damaged, underripe, or overripe beans were removed, along with other impurities resulting from hand harvesting. After a short soaking, the coffee passed through a depulper and then fermented in water. Once fermentation was complete, the beans were spread out on patios, dried to the appropriate moisture level, the silverskin was removed, and the coffee was prepared for storage. The second stage of production was decaffeination. The selected lot was transported to a facility in Veracruz, where coffee in Mexico is typically decaffeinated. Water from mountain springs is used to extract the caffeine. As with all methods of this type, organic compounds removed along with the caffeine are captured by carbon filters and then reintroduced into the water that comes into contact with the beans, allowing the coffee to retain its full flavor.ROASTER’S OPINIONThis coffee immediately caught our attention during the first cupping, and we quickly decided it deserved a place in our offering. The fact that it is decaffeinated turned out to be more of a coincidence—we did not initially plan to introduce a decaf with this kind of character. The aroma is dominated by floral and spice notes, complemented by a subtle hint of orange peel. On the palate, clear notes of orange appear, along with gentle spiciness reminiscent of pepper and cloves, as well as plum and sweet caramel. The profile is harmonious, with mild acidity, medium body, and excellent balance. Considering the terroir and the fact that this is a decaffeinated coffee, its character can be genuinely surprising.BREW RECIPEUse your preferred brewing method and recipe. Brew this coffee as you normally would, but grind it slightly finer than usual and use water at approximately 95–97°C.Store in a cold and dry space.
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Uganda, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Dark roast, perfect for espresso, coffee machines, and moka pots. You can expect hints of caramel, peach, lemon and black tea.Country: UgandaRegion: Kasese DistrictFarm: Bugoye Washing StationProducent: Kyagalanyi Coffee Varietal: SL14, SL28Processing: Fully WashedAltitude: 1700-2200 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE REGION AND THE FARMThe magnificent Rwenzori Mountains, known as the "Mountains of the Moon," stretch for over 120 km across western Uganda. High altitude, fertile volcanic soils, abundant rainfall, and appropriate temperatures create ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee, while rivers flowing from the snow-capped peaks effectively irrigate the surrounding areas.Farmers delivering coffee cherries to the Bugoye washing station cultivate coffee trees on very small farms (approx. 2 acres), working by hand, often with the help of their entire families. This is because coffee serves as their primary source of income. Although the region is mainly famous for natural process coffees, washed coffees are also produced here—and that is exactly what this coffee is.Due to difficult access, many farms can only be reached on foot. To facilitate sales, 18 collection points were established, from which the coffee is transported for further processing. The mission of the Bugoye station is sustainable development, supported by professional agronomists working directly with local farmers.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe coffee cherries delivered to Bugoye are grown and harvested at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,200 meters above sea level. In addition to washed coffees, the station itself produces classic naturals, honey-processed coffees, and has also begun conducting experiments with fermentation. After the processing phase, the coffees were exported by Kyagalanyi Coffee, which is the first company in Uganda to receive a coffee export license. The washed process at Bugoye begins by placing the harvested cherries into large fermentation tanks filled with water. Anything that floats to the surface is then removed—damaged cherries, underripe ones, and all foreign objects like leaves or sticks. Next, the coffee is passed through a depulper and moves to further water tanks, where it is "washed" and ferments for 24 hours. Finally, the beans in parchment are dried, hulled, and packed into GrainPro bags.ROASTER'S OPINIONUganda is another African country where coffee production methods are changing dynamically. This momentum also greatly affects the quality of the beans sourced from there. For years, coffees from Uganda were primarily associated with low-quality Robusta. While high-quality microlots did appear, they were rare exceptions. The current situation in the green coffee market and the work of importers and exporters have ensured that the quality of Ugandan coffee improves year after year, with more high-quality coffee entering the market. We observe an improvement in bean quality annually, even as a result of minor adjustments to production processes. This washed lot from the Bugoye station is particularly interesting because it is very complex and somewhat unusual for washed beans from Uganda. The coffee has a light, tea-like body, reminiscent of those well-known from Ethiopia. The acidity is medium, citric, and delicately sparkling. The whole profile is complemented by a caramel-peach sweetness that is noticeable in the long aftertaste. This is the case for espresso, but after adding milk, the coffee changes dramatically. Although it remains light and tea-like, such as washed Ethiopias, the caramel-peach sweetness begins to stand out, creating a delicious, sweet milk coffee.RECIPEUse 18 grams of beans to brew 40 grams of espresso. Grind the coffee finely to aim for an extraction time of approximately 25 seconds. If you want to slightly suppress the acidity and boost the sweetness, grind a bit coarser to extend the extraction by a few seconds.Store in a cold and dry space.

Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of orange, mango and mik chocolate.Origin: Costa Rica Region: Naranjo, West ValleyFarm: Los CipresesProcessing method: Natural AnaerobicVariety: MilenioAltitude: 1600 – 1650 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARMBehind this coffee is the Salazar family from the Los Cipreses farm in Naranjo, located in the West Valley region of Costa Rica. For over four decades, they sold their coffee to local cooperatives, but since 2018, they began developing production with a greater focus on the specialty segment. A significant step was the launch of their own mill, Beneficio San Cristóbal, which gives them greater control over quality and processing. The crops are situated at an altitude of approximately 1600–1650 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE VARIETYMilenio, also designated as H10, is a variety with very high yield potential, high resistance to coffee leaf rust, and good quality potential at higher altitudes. World Coffee Research identifies it as a hybrid with very high productivity and good quality above 1300 meters. In practice, it is a material that successfully combines agronomic traits with sensory potential.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGNatural anaerobic is a combination of two process elements. "Anaerobic" refers to fermentation in an environment with limited or eliminated access to oxygen, usually in closed tanks. "Natural," on the other hand, means that the bean is dried within the whole fruit rather than after the pulp has been removed. Such processing typically enhances flavor intensity, sweetness, and the fruity character of the coffee while providing a more saturated profile.RECIPERatio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: medium-coarseBrewing time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour the water over the coffee in 5 equal parts (e.g., 5x 60g) at 30-second intervals. The water should completely filter through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size to coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a cold and dry space.
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya and Ethiopia, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Dark roast, perfect for espresso, coffee machines, and moka pots. You can expect hints of red fruits, stone fruits and fresh citrus.Country: Kenya, EthiopiaRegion: Nyeri, GujiVarietal: SL28, SL34, HeirloomProcessing: Natural/Fully washedAltitude: 1620-2230 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis coffee was designed for espresso tonic — juicy, refreshing, and distinct enough to hold its own when combined with tonic water. Its profile features red fruits, stone fruits, and subtle citrus, which together build a fresh, fruity character.Washed processed Kenya brings clear, citrusy energy and structure, ensuring the espresso remains distinct even after mixing with tonic. Natural processed Ethiopia adds sweetness and an intense, fruity dimension — ranging from juicy red fruits to ripe stone fruits. The espresso itself is full of energy, clean, and naturally sweet, with a clear freshness in the background. When combined with tonic, the beverage becomes even lighter and more crisp — citrus notes boost the refreshment, fruity sweetness balances the dryness, and the whole composition results in a juicy, clear, and highly drinkable profile.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee was created with espresso tonic in mind — intense, juicy, and bold enough to cut through even when mixed with tonic. Its profile is based on red fruits, stone fruits, and subtle citrus, which together create a fresh, fruity, and crisp character. In combination with tonic, the drink gains fullness and energy. Citrus notes enhance the refreshing effect, fruity sweetness softens the bitterness of the tonic, and the overall experience becomes both juicy and clear. This is exactly the profile expected from a good espresso tonic base — fresh, light, and very drinkable. Perfect for warm days and all moments when you feel like having something truly refreshing.RECIPEEspresso Tonic is a simple yet very refreshing drink, perfect for hot days. Just prepare a tall glass with ice, pour in about 150 ml of tonic, and then gently add a freshly brewed espresso. The result is a light, sparkling drink with a pleasant citrus and coffee character. For extra aroma, you can add a few slices of orange or grapefruit — they will emphasize the freshness and give the drink a more complex flavor profile. For the espresso, a classic recipe works best: 18 g of finely ground coffee to obtain about 35–40 g of brew in approximately 30 seconds. The order is key — tonic first, then espresso. In the reverse version, the drink may foam up excessively and "overflow" from the glass.Store in a dry and cool place.

Its operations are overseen by an agronomist responsible for implementing good agricultural practices and educating producers. The agronomist works directly with the farmers, assisting them in gaining access to tools and selecting cultivation methods best suited to the conditions of their local plots. The station collaborates with 1,074 smallholder producers, each of whom owns an average of about 150 coffee trees. The plantations are situated at altitudes above 1,700 meters above sea level, near the Kibira forest, which favors obtaining high-quality raw material. The station itself has over 200 drying beds and can process up to 750 tons of coffee cherries annually. The entire process — from cultivation to processing — is covered by a monitoring system that ensures full traceability.Nemba is also engaged in the development of local communities, implementing projects that support farmers, including animal husbandry, strengthening cooperative structures, and improving crop yield.ROASTER'S OPINIONNemba is a washing station whose coffees we are always very keen to reach for. Located in the Kayanza region, it has been famous for years for Red Bourbon lots from local farmers, which stand out due to their natural, high sweetness, often balanced by caramel and fruit accents. These are profiles with low to medium acidity and a medium to high, pleasantly sticky body.In the case of this specific lot from the current harvest, the character remains very consistent with what we usually expect from Nemba. The aroma is dominated by berries, caramel, and citrus — above all lemon, which gives the whole profile freshness and lightness. In the flavor, distinct blackcurrant, juicy blueberries, and again lemon and sweet caramel appear, building a harmonious, well-balanced structure. The body is medium, but distinctly sticky and oily, which adds fullness and depth to the coffee. The aftertaste remains long, caramelly, and pleasantly sweet, while the acidity is low, smooth, and perfectly highlights the high natural sweetness.RECIPEUse your favorite AeroPress recipe. In our opinion, this coffee comes out most interesting when brewed specifically in an AeroPress!Store in a cool and dry place.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted by Coffee Plant. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the hints of tomato, caramel, peach and currants.Origin: KenyaRegion: NyeriProcessing: Fully washedVariety: SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11Altitude: 1700 m a.s.lABOUT THE COFFEETomato notes take center stage in the aroma, reminiscent of tomato leaves – distinct and very characteristic. They are accompanied by sweet caramel and slightly underripe peach. The flavor profile is even more complex – the tomato character combines with notes of redcurrant, peach, and caramel. The coffee has a high, almost sparkling acidity associated with currants and a clear, slightly umami character that creates its dry twist. The body is high and smooth, and the aftertaste is long and fruity, with a delicate, dry accent. This is a direction you will also see in subsequent coffees from Kenya from this year's harvest.ROASTER'S OPINIONAt the Tegu washing station, the coffee undergoes multi-stage wet processing characteristic of Kenya. After initial selection, the cherries go to the first fermentation stage, which lasts about 24 hours. They are then washed and moved to another fermentation tank. After the pulp is removed, the beans go into washing channels where lighter beans (so-called floaters) are separated, and the heavier ones are thoroughly cleaned of the sticky layer surrounding the bean (mucilage). The next stage is soaking the beans again for about 24 hours. This process promotes the development of amino acids and proteins, which translates into higher acidity and greater complexity of the fruity profile – a key element of Kenyan coffees. Finally, the beans are spread in a thin layer on African beds, where they initially lose some moisture quickly, and are then regularly turned and dried until they reach about 11% moisture. After drying, the coffee is hulled, packed, and undergoes a short stabilization stage before export.RECIPEThis coffee responds well to the brewing method – you can emphasize its juicy, currant acidity or bring out its more savory, tomato-like character. In a V60, it is at its most juicy and distinct – redcurrant, peach, and high, sparkling acidity. In an Origami, the profile balances out, and the tomato twist becomes more legible. In an AeroPress, the coffee is smoother and fuller, with a more pronounced umami character.Lower temperatures emphasize freshness and fruit, while higher temperatures bring out depth and strengthen the savory profile. A coarser grind provides more lightness and acidity, while a finer grind yields more body and umami. We recommend a medium-coarse grind (25 clicks on a Comandante) and a drip brewing method – such as the Origami – with a dose of 17 g per 240 ml of water.Using water at 95°C, pour according to the following timeline:0:30 – 50 ml , 0:50 – 110 ml , 1:15 – 200 ml , 2:40 – 240 mlGently stir at the end.Store in a cold and dry space.

ABOUT THE FARMThe Banko Gotiti washing station is located in the Gedeb region, in the Gedeo zone of southern Ethiopia — one of the most highly regarded areas for specialty coffee production in the world. Situated at a high altitude, surrounded by fertile soils and intense biodiversity, it benefits from ideal conditions for growing high-quality Arabica.Hundreds of smallholder farmers collaborate with the station, cultivating coffee on small plots, often using an agroforestry system in the shade of natural vegetation. Thanks to the high altitudes (frequently above 1,900 m a.s.l.), the cherries ripen more slowly, which translates to greater complexity and intensity of flavor.ABOUT PROCESSINGIn the case of washed coffees, the process begins with the selection of ripe, red cherries, which then go to depulpers. After the pulp is removed, the beans undergo fermentation in water — usually for 24–48 hours — which allows the remaining mucilage to break down. Next, the coffee is thoroughly washed and dried on raised beds for about a dozen days until it reaches the appropriate moisture level. The result of this process is coffee with a very clean and clear profile. Banko Gotiti is famous for lots characterized by high acidity, distinct citrus notes (often lemon or lime), floral accents, and a tea-like lightness. Notes of stone fruit and a subtle sweetness also frequently appear, balancing the whole profile.Washed coffees from Banko Gotiti are a classic example of the Ethiopian style — elegant, complex, and very transparent in flavor, perfectly reflecting the character of the Gedeb region.ROASTER'S OPINIONWashed coffees from Banko Gotiti are a classic example of the Gedeb region profile — clean, expressive, and highly aromatic. The cup is usually dominated by citrus (lemon, lime, tangerine) and distinct, juicy acidity. A very characteristic element is the floral notes — ranging from jasmine and orange blossom to more perfumed accents that give the coffee lightness and elegance. Many lots also feature fruit — both stone fruit (apricot, peach) and berries or tropical notes, complemented by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of caramel, honey, or maple syrup. And in this specific coffee, we have everything at once! The body is light and tea-like, distinctly reminiscent of green tea. The aroma is intensely floral, balanced by citrus. In the flavor, besides the floral notes of jasmine and acacia, you will find citrus, apricot, and green tea. The whole experience finishes with a long, citrusy, tea-like aftertaste.Wondering what spring in a cup tastes like? This is our interpretation of it! P.S. It is a great coffee for cold brew!RECIPEThis is a great, light washed coffee from Ethiopia. Brew it in a dripper to highlight the elegant acidity, but grind it finer than usual and extend the brewing time.Store in a cold and dry space.
