Earl Grey tea from HAYB. Classic Ceylon tea with aromatic bergamot oil, no artificial flavors. Where did the name "earl gray" come from? There are two theories on this subject. The first one says that the tea owes its name to Count Gray, who was to receive it as a thank you for saving the drowning son of Mandarin. The second theory, about the origin of the name Earl Gray, had its origin in cargo ships going to England. During the long journey, the green tea crates got wet, the tea began to ferment (green tea began to turn black naturally), with an unpleasant odor as a side effect. The green rooibos comes from the same plant as the red rooibos, it differs only in the way the leaves are processed after harvest. Green rooibos is not fermented, so its infusion is lighter, with hints of citrus.The infusion is golden in colour, with a distinctive and spicy aroma. Thanks to the presence of red and white pepper and ginger, the taste of the brew is slightly spicy, but leaves some sweetness on the tongue. You can infuse it twice, with longer second brewing.
