Mount Caramel - Glogg Syrup 200ml

Manufacturer: MOUNT CARAMEL

This syrup is a non-alcoholic base for mulled wine. The idea for it comes from Sweden, where vineyards are not as popular as they are in the south. To obtain a similar taste to mulled wine without addition of alcohol, several fruits were introduced: chokeberry, plums, oranges, all coated with winter spices. These ingredients mixed in a perfect ration give ready-to-serve mulled wine drink, but alcohol-free. Just add boiling water and stir, that is all it takes. Enjoy!Ingredients: caramelized sugar, water, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamon, anise, fresh lemon, plum and chokeberry juice, fresh orange zest.Nutritional value per 100g:Energy: 275 kcalFat: >0.1 gof which saturated fatty acids: >0.1 gCarbohydrates: 69 gof which sugars: 69 gProtein: >0.5 gSalt: >0.1 g

From other continents too, but at this moment – from Africa the most. Warmth, sunshine, nothing left to do but sip these juicy coffees day after day. These beans come from the Iloma AMCOS cooperative in the Songwe region of Tanzania. 391 farmers deliver coffee to this cooperative. They cultivate coffee at an altitude between 1800 and 1900 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soils. The cherries are processed using the washed method – after harvesting, they go straight to the station, where they spend about 24 hours in water, and then dry for 11–14 days.In the cup, the coffee is like juice. Notes of redcurrants and lemongrass. Coffee first appeared in the territories of modern-day Tanzania in the 16th century, initially in the Bukoba region, where local varieties were grown even before the colonial period. Currently, Tanzania produces an average of about 50–70 thousand tons of coffee per year, mostly Arabica.I am no coffee prophet, but I have a hot take that Tanzania is the new Kenya. Samurai Shoelace - Treat Selection Beloya - 10 Capsules

Manufacturer: SAMURAI SHOELACE

Specialty grade coffee in capsules, originating from Ethiopia and roasted for espresso by the Hungarian roastery, Samurai Shoelace. Each pack contains 10 capsules compatible with Nespresso® machines.  A very sweet and full bodied ethiopian coffee from the Yirgachefe region. The carbonic maceration process boosts the fruitiness of this incredible coffee.Did you know that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee? That is precisely why we love Ethiopian coffees – they possess a very distinct character, and beans from this region are famous for their floral-fruity, refreshing aroma. Beloya, coming from Yirgacheffe, one of Ethiopia's most renowned coffee-growing regions, is exactly like that: cultivated among high mountains, bursting with fresh, fruity flavors and floral aromas. It is a bit more unique, a bit wilder than coffee in general, but that is what makes it so exciting. This won't be just your ordinary morning coffee.Country of origin: EthiopiaRegion: YirgacheffeFarm: Beloya Washing StationAltitude: 1719 m a.s.l.Varietal: HeirloomProcess: Carbonic MacerationABOUT THE FARMTypical for Ethiopia, coffee does not come from (relatively) larger farms, but from many independent smallholders (where the smallest "farm" might just be two bushes at the end of a garden). Coffee produced this way is gathered at washing stations, where it is processed, graded, and sold, with farmers living in the vicinity bringing their harvests there. The washing station uses water from local rivers to process the coffee cherries (hence the name, as the washing process is common here). The Beloya washing station is located north of Chelelektu in the Kochere district, 45 km from the regional capital, Dilla. The facility, which has been operating for 20 years, features two processing plants and is currently being expanded and modernized.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGCarbonic Maceration (a technique also known from winemaking) is a relatively new process in the coffee world. During this process, only the highest quality cherries are placed into a sealed steel tank, and carbon dioxide (CO2) is then used to completely displace the oxygen. In this anaerobic environment, an intracellular fermentation process begins. Instead of external microorganisms and yeast initiating the breakdown, it is an enzymatic transformation of sugar within the fruit itself. As the cells begin to break down sugar in the absence of oxygen, various types of aromas and esters—and sometimes alcohols—are produced. This gives carbonic macerated coffees a very distinctive, almost fruit-candy-like flavor, while simultaneously preserving the classic aromatic characteristics of Ethiopian coffee.Store in a cold and dry space.

It does most of the work here: providing chocolate, nut, sweetness, and a calm body. An espresso classic. Without edgy acidity. Without pretending that morning coffee needs to be a research project.ABOUT THE COFFEEThe Brazil comes from the Mogiana region and is naturally processed. It is a washed Typica, hand-picked and sun-dried, featuring a citric acidity, smooth body, and notes of stone fruits. The result is simple: the espresso is meant to be sweet, full-bodied, and suitable for everyday life, but not flat.ROASTER'S OPINIONESKO! is a coffee for everyday espresso. A specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted in Poland by BeMyBean. Dark roast, perfect for espresso, coffee machines, and moka pots. You can expect hints of blackberry and currants juice, lime, grapefruit and orange's flowers.Country: EthiopiaRegion: SidamoFarm: KeberoVarietal: HeirloomProcessing: WashedAltitude: 2000 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEEthiopia Kebero is a classic in a modern espresso edition. From the very first sip, it showcases what a well-processed washed coffee is all about: clean, clear, and incredibly juicy. In the foreground, an intense blueberry and currant juice emerges, giving the whole cup depth and a light sweetness. A moment later, citruses come in – lime and grapefruit – introducing freshness and a characteristic, vibrant acidity. The entire experience is tied together by a delicate, floral accent of orange blossom, which lends lightness and elegance to the cup. This is a medium-intensity espresso that does not overwhelm but consistently builds a layered profile – from fruity juiciness to a clean, fresh finish. Perfect for those looking for clarity of flavor and a distinct origin character in their espresso.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGThe key to this profile lies in the washed processing method, also known as wet processing. The process begins right at the harvest stage. Only fully ripe, hand-picked coffee cherries make it to further processing. Next, the cherries are thoroughly sorted to discard any unripe or damaged fruit. The subsequent step is depulping, which is the mechanical removal of the skin and most of the pulp. A thin, sticky layer of mucilage containing natural sugars then remains on the bean. After that, fermentation begins in water tanks, usually lasting from a dozen to several dozen hours. During this time, natural enzymes break down the remaining pulp, separating it from the bean. This is one of the most crucial moments – it determines the cleanliness and character of the future flavor profile. After fermentation, the beans are thoroughly rinsed with clean water, which completely removes the remnants of the pulp and stops the fermentation processes. Thanks to this, the coffee's flavor becomes clearer and free from heavy, fermented notes. The final stage is drying on raised tables (so-called African beds), where the beans dry for about 10–15 days. They are regularly turned to ensure even moisture evaporation and to avoid defects. The result of the entire process is a coffee of exceptional clarity – one in which you can clearly taste the origin, variety, and growing conditions. This is precisely why Ethiopia Kebero is so juicy, citrusy, and floral, yet light and elegant at the same time.Store in a cold and dry space.
