HAYB - China Gui Ben Natural Espresso 250 g
Manufacturer: HAYB
Roasting date: 07.09.2026
Whole-bean specialty coffee from China roasted at HAYB. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you can expect hints of yellow plum, almonds and muscovado.Country of origin: ChinaRegion: YunnanVariety: Catimor (P3 / P4)Processing method: NaturalCupping score: 86 / 100Altitude: 1400-1650 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEGui Ben comes from Shigaoqing and Gui Ben, a location long famous for tea. Yet, this is coffee, and quite an impressive one at that. The farms are located in a wild part of Yunnan, east of Pu’er city and right near the border with Laos. The entire coffee operation is led by Mr. Tian Cai, manager of the Yunnan Coffee Traders (YCT) farms, while its daily management is handled by his relative, Mr. Tang. This is a family team belonging to a small group of farmers from the Gui Ben region. The coffee cherries come from both their own crops and from neighboring smallholders. The cherries are spread in a thin layer on raised beds for two to three days, after which they are raked and dried for another 25 days. Only then do they move on to further processing, sorting, and, once prepared this way, await shipment to warehouses in Europe. We roasted them relatively light for espresso, which gave them a long aftertaste. In the background lurks a note known from Asian coffees, but for me, yellow sweet plum takes center stage here. Store in a cool and dry place.
HAYB - Burundi Mubuga Natural Espresso 250 g
Manufacturer: HAYB
Roasting date: 04.08.2026
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Burundi roasted at HAYB. Medium roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you can expect hints of vanilla, milk chocolate and cherry.Country of origin: BurundiRegion: Ngozi Variety: BourbonProcessing method: NaturalCupping score: 86 / 100Altitude: 1660 m a.s.l.As if on cueThis is a coffee made at the special request of our head roaster. When Rafał joined the team and sat down with us for his first cupping, he blurted out right away: "Hey, I think you've never had a coffee from Burundi, and I like them so much!" We had, but a long time ago! So we decided to make Rafał's life a little nicer, ordered samples, and chose this (and one more!) great lot.Located in Ngozi Province, the Mubuga processing station collaborates with over 1,900 local farmers who deliver their carefully selected harvests here every year. This place stands out for its impressive technical infrastructure created for the precise processing of only the finest, fully ripe cherries. The station's facilities include as many as 12 fermentation tanks, 3 soaking tanks, over 300 drying beds, and 4 specialized tables for quality sorting.Harvesting in this region usually lasts from April to June, but this coffee's journey to your cup only begins then. Burundi is a completely landlocked country – before these exceptional beans head out into the world and reach our roastery, they must travel an extremely long, demanding, and complex route.Store in a cool and dry place.
HAYB - Birthday Coffee Costa Rica Las Lajas Perla Negra Espresso 250 g
Manufacturer: HAYB
Roasting date: 29.07.2026
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica roasted at HAYB. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you can expect hints of dried fig, honey and chocolate.Country of origin: Costa RicaRegion: Central ValleyVariety: San IsidroProcessing method: Perla NegraCupping score: 87 / 100Altitude: 1500 m a.s.l.Always something new. And supposedly new, yet a safe bet.I think we order coffees from Oscar and Francisca Chacon every year. When my season for drinking coffees processed other than washed comes around, it is the Chacon family that shows how to do it best. We have had coffees from them in Alma Negra, Perla Negra, and Yellow Diamond processes – these are different "variations" of theirs on honey and natural processing – and all of them are invariably super clean in flavor. This time is no different, absolutely flawless.ABOUT THE PROCESSPerla Negra is a processing method that goes as follows: after harvesting, the cherries are transferred to the mill for grading, where only the ripest ones are selected. Then, they are moved to the greenhouse patio for drying. During the first week, the cherries are piled on top of each other in a thick layer for aerobic fermentation. After this first week, the coffee is spread across the patio, forming a thin layer until the drying process is complete. Delicious!Store in a cool, dry place.
HAYB - Mexico El Buho Washed Espresso 1 kg
Manufacturer: HAYB
Roasting date: 02.09.2026
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Mexico roasted at HAYB. Medium roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you can expect cocoa beans, caramel and tangerine.Origin: MexicoRegion: ChiapasVariety: Caturra, BourbonProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1500-2000 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 84,5 / 100CHIAPAS IN A CUPIf it weren’t for Andreas Kussmaul, this coffee wouldn’t exist for me. I would never have made it to the Chiapas region in Mexico, and certainly not to Los Altos – the northeastern highlands of Chiapas, located about two hours from the state capital, San Cristóbal de las Casas.Andreas was my guide back then, and today he’s one of the funniest friends I have. Even though he now lives far away in the state of Veracruz, we still talk often. Coffee regions in this country are places where you need a pass – or at least a Mexican passport – to truly feel safe. During the long hours on the road, Andreas told me about the challenges local farmers face and about the NKG BLOOM program. In short, it’s an initiative supporting coffee producers around the world. Its goal is to help farmers develop their farms by providing access to financing, knowledge, modern technologies, and markets. This enables them to work more efficiently, increase their income, and lift themselves out of poverty. Traveling from farm to farm and visiting coffee warehouses, you could truly feel the financial and technological support behind the program. The state of Chiapas, where this coffee comes from, borders Veracruz and Oaxaca to the west, Tabasco to the north, and Guatemala to the east. It’s the same region, and the farms there are often just 20–30 kilometers apart. Yet traveling between them can take two to three hours due to road conditions. Despite such short distances, the flavor of the same botanical variety differs greatly from farm to farm. Microclimate and soil play a huge role.ABOUT THE COFFEEOur El Búho is a blend of Bourbon and Caturra varieties. It is a washed coffee. In the cup, you’ll find plenty of sweetness, reminiscent of milk chocolate and caramel. There is minimal yet noticeable fruitiness, bringing to mind mandarins or sweet oranges. As an espresso, it leans toward the sweeter side, lingering pleasantly on the palate. In milk-based drinks, it develops notes of toffee with a smooth texture.Mexico is an underrated coffee producer. Its complex history and current political situation do not make coffee imports easy – only 2% of the world’s available Arabica comes from this country. That makes us even more excited to shine a light on this origin and the coffees of the Chiapas region.Store in a cold and dry space.

Espresso from doesn't need to be the same again and again. All we need to do is to get some well known and liked beans from Brazil and add to it a few other ingredients, Guatemalan and Ethiopian coffee in this case. What we will get is a new, different classic - full of milk chocolate, marzipan and berry notes. This blend includes:- Brazylia Cerrado, Minas Gerais (natural)- Gwatemala Huehuetenango (washed)- Etiopia Yirgacheffe (washed)The blend of coffees that were processed naturally with ones that were washed gives it sweetness and nice toned acidity which makes the beverage "alive" and diversify the flavor profile. Espresso has a medium, round body, it is clean and leaves long-lasting cocoa finish. In taste, you can expect hints of caramel, roasted nuts, and forest fruits. Thanks to all of that, this coffee is a perfect everyday companion - it brings pleasure, is easy to brew, and also tastes great with milk.Store in a cold and dry space.

HAYB - Costa Rica Hellen Mora Natural Espresso 250 g
Manufacturer: HAYB
Roasting date: 03.07.2026
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Costa Rica roasted at HAYB. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. In the cup, you can expect hints of milk chocolate, dried fig and raspberry.Country of origin: Costa RicaRegion: TarrazuVariety: CaturraProcessing method: NaturalCupping score: 87 / 100Altitude: 1800-1900 m a.s.l.Natural revolutionYou have already had the opportunity to try a Geisha roasted for espresso from this female farmer – now it is time for Caturra. A sweet shot with notes of milk chocolate, but also plenty of flavor reminiscent of figs and raspberries. Although Caturra was born in Brazil, it made a real career in Colombia, and later precisely in Costa Rica. According to World Coffee Research and Perfect Daily Grind, it is an absolute classic and a benchmark against which other modern botanical varieties are evaluated. What is worth knowing about it?Compact growth: Caturra possesses a dwarfism gene. The shrubs are short and stocky, which allows farmers to plant them more densely and makes harvesting the cherries much easier.A demanding patient: The price for high yield is poor health. Caturra is extremely susceptible to coffee leaf rust (roya) and pests, meaning it requires a great deal of attention, knowledge, and care from the farmer.Cup profile: Grown at the right altitude, it rewards you with brilliant quality. Expect a multi-dimensional, vibrant, and clean citric acidity, a medium body, and a distinct sweetness with notes of chocolate, caramel, and juicy fruits. No genetic modifications in a laboratory – a pure, natural revolution that changed the map of the specialty coffee world. Enjoy!Store in a cold and dry space.

Warmth, sunshine, nothing left to do but sip these juicy coffees day after day. These beans come from the Iloma AMCOS cooperative in the Songwe region of Tanzania. 391 farmers deliver coffee to this cooperative. They cultivate coffee at an altitude between 1800 and 1900 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soils. The cherries are processed using the washed method – after harvesting, they go straight to the station, where they spend about 24 hours in water, and then dry for 11–14 days.In the cup, the coffee is like juice. Notes of redcurrants and lemongrass. Coffee first appeared in the territories of modern-day Tanzania in the 16th century, initially in the Bukoba region, where local varieties were grown even before the colonial period.
