Cupping score: 86 / 100

ABOUT THE COFFEE

This Rwanda is unique for two reasons. First, Humure is one of the few washing stations in the country managed one hundred percent by women. Second, the Red Bourbon trees here, thanks to the shade from papaya and banana trees, mature more slowly, gaining much more sweetness. In the cup, you will experience a medium-intense raspberry acidity, balanced by a sweetness reminiscent of dates. All of this is enclosed in a light, tea-like body.

ROASTER'S OPINION

This year's harvest from Rwanda surprised me with a very clean sensory profile – intense raspberries, the sweetness of dates, and a tea-like body. A great, refreshing coffee for warm days.
