Specialty-grade whole bean coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by DAK Coffee Roasters in the Netherlands. Light roast, ideal for filter coffee makers, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other alternative brewing methods. Its flavor profile features notes of black tea, peach iced tea and wild florals.

Country of origin: Ethiopia

Region: Gedeb, Gedeo

Farm: Danche Washing Station

Variety: Heirloom

Processing method: Anaerobic Washed

Altitude: 2200 m a.s.l.

From Danche Washing Station in Gedeb, collected from surrounding smallholders at around 2200 masl; ripe cherries depulped and fermented 48 h in sealed tanks, washed twice and dried on raised beds for 15-20 days. Harvest 2026, low intervention. One of the more delicate Ethiopians we've had this year: wild florals lead, followed by peach iced tea and a black-tea finish, with good clarity despite the extra fermentation. Light, elegant and very tea-like.
