ABOUT THE COFFEE

The coffee comes from the Wete Ambela washing station in the Yirgacheffe region, located at an altitude of 2,050 meters above sea level. Cherries are delivered by local farmers growing traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties on farms reaching up to 2,200 meters above sea level. After hand-picking, the coffee undergoes a classic washed processing – the beans ferment and soak for 48 hours, then dry on African beds for nearly three weeks. The result is a clean, elegant cup with the clear flavor profile characteristic of Yirgacheffe.
