Timemore Sculptor 078S is an automatic coffee grinder designed for espresso and pour-over brewing methods. The grinder is designed and built with attention to every detail - it is aesthetic and made of durable materials, with its heart being a steel burr. The Sculptor 078S is also functional - it offers convenient and precise grinding adjustment, as well as motor speed adjustment.BURR AND GRINDING ADJUSTMENTThe Timemore Sculptor 078S is equipped with 78 mm diameter steel flat burrs. The burrs in the S version are suitable for fine grinding required for, and at the same time provide high uniformity for pour over. The particle size distribution of the ground coffee mainly ranges from 400 to 800 μm, ensuring exceptionally consistent grinding.Grind thickness adjustment is convenient and quick - it is done by turning the dial located on the front. The dial is clearly marked with 36 steps, and the setting is stepless.MOTORThe Timemore Sculptor 078S is equipped with a brushless motor with PID control and Hall components, that can only be found in products from reputable brands. Compared to brushed motors, brushless motors rotate without contacting the stator, therefore characterized by zero friction, resulting in longer lifespan and more stable operation (no shaking during operation). Another unique feature of the grinder is the motor speed adjustment - it can be adjusted in the range of 800 to 1400 RPM (revolutions per minute).CONSTRUCTIONThe housing of the Timemore Sculptor 078S grinder is made of sleek aluminum, with dimensions of 29.4 cm height x 11.8 cm width x 26.1 cm depth, making it an elegant device with a small footprint. The hopper can hold 45 - 50 grams of beans. The hopper cover is magnetically attached - simply slide it halfway onto the hopper, and the cover will snap into place. The container for ground coffee is also magnetic, making it easy to centre it smoothly and accurately.The grinder features a patented rotary knocker for cleaning the chute from coffee fines, minimizing retention. This ensures that ground coffee does not remain in the grinder between each grinding session.Each grinder is tested by the manufacturer before packaging - therefore, you may find coffee residues on the grinding mechanism components.This product comes with EU Type C/F plug. Customers from UK/IE/CY/MT may need an adapter.
