Borosilicate glass tumbler with a capacity of 360 ml, featuring characteristic vertical ribbing on the outer wall. The ribs serve two functions: they provide a secure grip and insulate your hand from the hot beverage. The wide opening makes serving and cleaning easy. Designed for big lattes and iced coffee.
The Cicada series is an attempt to reconcile retro aesthetics with everyday utility. Three-dimensional, vertical ribbing on the outer wall gives the glass the character of old, artisanal glassware, while simultaneously solving two practical problems: the glass does not slip out of a wet hand and burns less, as your fingers touch only the ridges rather than the entire surface.
Borosilicate glass withstands temperature differences much better than regular soda-lime glass, so Cicada performs well with both iced espresso tonic and hot milk-based coffees. The transparent form showcases the beverage layers – crema, milk, ice – which matters when serving on-site. The wide opening facilitates pouring, adding ice, and cleaning.
