ABOUT THE COFFEE

El Salvador Altamira is a harmonious specialty coffee with an SCA score of 84.5 from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec region. Natural processing and a combination of Bourbon and Pacas varieties build a sweet, slightly dessert-like profile. Notes of red apple, yuzu marmalade, and creamy mango lassi appear in the cup, giving the coffee an exotic yet pleasantly rounded character. Its advantage is a pleasant creaminess and a smooth body, which give the brew softness and consistency. It will work best in a moka pot, an espresso machine, and for traditional glass brewing.
