Klaro is a one-person specialty coffee roastery built around a simple idea: great coffee doesn’t have to be complicated.
As the founder himself says:
"I was inspired by the Spanish word 'Claro' – clear, distinct, understandable, obvious. The main idea is to create a 'complex' product in the simplest possible way. At Klaro, I focus on simplicity, minimalism, education, and openness.
I bet that if you’re here – my vision resonates with you. I hope we can build a long-term relationship, and that Klaro will find its way onto your shelf more than once."

Klaro - Ethiopia Flores Washed Filter 250 g
Roasting date: 14.07.2025
Whole-bean specialty coffee from Ethiopia, roasted by Klaro roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The flavour of the brew resembles bergamot and Earl Grey with floral notes.Country: EthiopiaRegion: SidamaFarm: Dale ShefinaVarietal: HeirloomProcessing: WashedROASTER’S NOTEThis lot comes from the Sambewe AMCOS cooperative, made up of 442 producers. After harvest, the cherries are carefully sorted and dried on raised beds. During the first 10 days, they’re turned every 2 hours, and the drying process takes between 24 and 30 days, depending on weather and humidity. Here’s a fun twist: the green coffee bag had “WASHED” printed in big bold letters — but inside? A natural. And honestly, everything pointed to it being washed: the appearance of the beans, the clarity in the cup. Then came the first cupping and... boom — intense sweetness and a heavier body. Total confusion. I thought something was off, but the importer confirmed — it’s definitely a natural.Turns out this kind of mix-up is pretty common in Tanzania. Bags are often pre-printed with “washed” since it’s the most common processing method — and they get used for everything. And the fact that the coffee looked like a washed? Well, Tanzanian naturals can be surprisingly similar to washed coffees — both in taste and appearance.
