Glass matcha bowl with spout

The glass matcha bowl is inspired by the traditional matchawan and is designed for preparing and drinking powdered green matcha tea. The bowl features a spout on one side, making it easier to pour the prepared matcha into another vessel. It is especially suitable for those who wish to serve Japanese matcha to their guests. The bowl fits comfortably in the hands, and thanks to its transparent walls, you can admire the intensely green color of the tea.

The bowl is handmade from borosilicate glass. Its vertical walls and wide base help in preparing matcha with water and quickly creating a thick green foam on the surface.

Bamboo matcha whisk – chasen

A traditional Japanese whisk for frothing matcha tea. The whisk is made from a single piece of bamboo, precisely cut and bound with cotton string to form delicate prongs. These, when shaped correctly, create a jade-like foam while whisking matcha. Using the chasen, you whisk in the bowl with W- or M-shaped motions. This allows the matcha to combine well with the water into a suspension, with a thin foam layer forming on the surface. Perfect frothing is possible thanks to the flexible bamboo prongs of the chasen, which are slightly curved at the bottom and gathered at the top, finished with a special wooden handle.
