General Measurement Method

1. Turn on the scale

Lightly press the ON/OFF TARE button to power on the scale.

Note: Always use the scale on a stable, flat surface.

After turning on, the display will show startup symbols for about 3 seconds, then switch to “0.0 g.”

If “0.0 g” does not appear, press and hold the ON/OFF TARE button for about 2 seconds to turn the scale off, then power it on again.

Note: Do not place any items on the scale while it is powering on.

2. Place the item on the scale

Put the item you want to measure on the weighing platform.

• Only place items on the platform of the scale.
• The maximum capacity is 2,000 g.
• If this limit is exceeded, the display will show the “EEEE” error message.

3. Turn off the scale after use

Press and hold the ON/OFF TARE button for about 2 seconds to power off the scale.

Measuring with Container Weight Deduction (Tare Function)

1. Turn on the scale

2. Place the container on the scale

3. Reset the display

4. Add the contents

Add the items to the container. The display will show only the weight of the contents.

Note: If the total weight on the scale exceeds 2,000 g, the display will show the “EEEE” error message.

5. Remove the container

If the container and its contents are removed, the display may show a negative value (e.g., “–”).

After use, press and hold the ON/OFF TARE button for about 2 seconds to turn off the scale.

Timer Function

1. Start the timer

2. Pause or resume

3. Reset the timer

Press and hold the START/STOP button for about 2 seconds to reset the timer to zero.

Brewing Pour-Over Coffee Using the Barista Glass Scale

01 Tum on the scale.

02 Place the server and dripper (with filter paper sot) on the scale.

03 Reset the scale to zero.

04 Add and weigh your coffee.

05 Reset the scale to zero.

06 Start the timer and slowly pour hot water to fully wet the coffee grounds.

07 Allow the coffee grounds to bloom for approximately 30 seconds.

08 Pour the required amount of hot water for your brewing recipe.

09 Total extraction time is approximately 3 minutes.

10 After finishing the brew, tum off the scale to complete the extraction.

Cleaning Instructions

• Clean the device using a soft cloth that has been dampened and well wrung out.
• For stubborn stains, use a cloth lightly dampened with a diluted neutral detergent.
• Do not use benzene, thinner, gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, or other chemical solvents, as they may cause discoloration, deformation, or malfunction.

Battery Replacement

1. Open the battery cover on the back of the device.

2. Remove the old batteries and insert new ones, making sure the +/− polarity is correct.

3. Close the battery cover securely.

• Incorrect polarity may damage the product.
• Replace the batteries when the display becomes dim or shows “Lo.”
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long period of time to prevent damage from battery leakage.
• Estimated battery life is approximately 12 months, depending on usage frequency.
• Recommended operating conditions: temperature 23°C ±5°C, humidity 50% ±20%.
• Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
