Timemore Chestnut X is an advanced hand grinder equipped with a stainless steel burr, double grind adjustment, and made of high-quality materials. Chestnut X is top of the Timemore line, recommended for all brewing methods, from espresso to pour-overs. The grinder will suit the most demanding home baristas and its compact dimensions make Chestnut X a good travel companion.
High-Quality Burrs
Patented S2C conical burrs, made of high-carbon SUS440 stainless steel. Extremely precise - designed with focus on improving the cutting of coffee bean and reducing its squeezing. This solution ensures greater grinding precision and decreases production of fines when grinding. The large diameter of 42mm allows for faster and more precise grinding.
Secondary Grind Adjustment
Chestnut X can grind evenly for all brewing methods - from espresso to pour-overs. It is equipped with two knobs, with two different scales. The first one allows you to choose one of 24 settings, while the other allows you to select one of five settings, which gives a total of 120 steps.
Stable Shaft
The bearings are mounted in two places on the X model. This ensures good stabilization and smooth rotation, makes it easier to grind even hard, light roast coffees and ensures a smoother grinding.
High-Quality Materials
The body is made of one piece of aluminum with a copper logo. The dimensions are 160 mm x 55 mm and its weight is 765 g. The bean hopper holds 30 - 35 grams of coffee, depending on the density of the beans.
Foldable Handle
A unique feature of the grinder is the foldable handle. It is firm when unfolded and provides stable work. When folded, the grinder's dimensions are minimized during storage or travel.
