This coffee comes from a cooperative founded in 1953, which currently has around 3,507 members. Each farmer has one hectare of land for coffee cultivation, usually along with vegetables for their family. This area has rich and fertile red volcanic soil, is located at an altitude of 1,700 to 1,900 meters above sea level, and receives 1,600 to 1,900 mm of rainfall per year. The coffee is hand-picked, hand-sorted, and undergoes a classic washed process.
