Hard Beans - Colombia Carambolo Estate Washed Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 12.03.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia, roasted by Hard Beans from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. In the cup, you can expect the notes of peach, red currant and vanilla.Origin: ColombiaRegion: HuilaVariety: Tabi, Yellow ColombiaFarm: Finca El Diviso / Finca Las FloresProcessing: WashedAltitude: 1700 – 1900 m a. s. l.ABOUT THE COFFEEThis is a blend of green beans from two farms in Pitalito, Huila: Finca El Diviso run by Nestor Lasso and Finca Las Flores run by Johan Vergara. These are names that genuinely matter on the competition scene. Coffees from El Diviso have won the World Barista Championship, and lots from Johan Vergara regularly appear in the routines of world-class competitors. In practice, this means one thing: the raw material is predictable, clean, and produced to meet the highest standards. This is a deliberate combination of two varieties. Tabi brings structure and elegance, often expressed as a more tea-like clarity and a stable, citrus-fruit acidity, while Yellow Colombia adds sweetness and juicy, ripe fruit character.Formally, this is a washed coffee, but processed in a way that strongly shapes the flavor profile. First, the fermentation is two-stage: an initial aerobic phase, followed by anaerobic submersion, designed to emphasize stone fruit notes (peach, apricot) rather than heavy, wine-like flavors. Second, after fermentation the coffee undergoes controlled hot/cold quenching, meaning contact with hot and cold water to stop the process at the right moment and preserve aromatic clarity. This is followed by natural drying under cover for greater stability and reduced risk of overheating, finished with mechanical drying in a silo, and at least 10 days of resting before final preparation.RECIPERatio: 60 g coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: Medium-coarseBrew time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour the water in five equal pours (for example, 5 × 60 g) at 30-second intervals.Allow the water to fully drain through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size coarser or finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water.

COFFEE PLANT - LOW Brownie Filter 800 g

Manufacturer: COFFEE PLANT

Roasting date: 24.02.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Brazil, roasted in Poland by COFFEE PLANT. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of chocolate, cocoa and nuts.Country: BrazilRegion: Cerrado/Sul de MinasFarm: Rancho GrandeVarietal: Mundo Nuovo, Acaia, Yellow Bourbon, Processing: Natural CO2/NaturalAltitude: 950 - 1050 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE COFFEEIn the package, you will find two coffees from Brazil, processed using the natural method: decaffeinated Mundo Novo from the Cerrado region and a caffeinated blend of Mundo Novo, Acaia, and Yellow Bourbon from the Rancho Grande farm in Sul de Minas. The dry, sunny conditions of Cerrado favor a clean, chocolate-forward profile with pronounced sweetness, while the slower drying on raised beds in the more humid microclimate of Rancho Grande creates greater complexity with notes of nuts and dried fruits. After import to Europe, some of the beans were decaffeinated using the supercritical CO₂ method, which effectively reduces caffeine with minimal impact on aroma and structure, allowing LOW Brownie to retain its full, balanced character. In the cup, chocolate and nuts dominate, with a delicate hint of dried fruits, high sweetness, medium body, low acidity, and a long, chocolate finish. We also verified the caffeine level in the final brew prepared according to the standardized V60 recipe. In 250 g of brewed coffee, we measured 54.4 mg of caffeine. Compared to the same coffee in its fully caffeinated version, this represents a real reduction of about 70% in caffeine content in the brewed coffee.ROASTER'S OPINIONThis coffee has a consistent chocolate-nut character, enriched with a subtle hint of dried fruits that gently highlight the flavor, reminiscent of classic brownies. It is distinguished by pronounced sweetness, medium fullness, very low acidity, and aromas of cocoa and chocolate. The whole is completed by a long, chocolate finish and excellent balance. This is how LOW Brownie – our reduced-caffeine coffee – presents itself.

Light roast, ideal for filter coffee makers, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other alternative brewing methods. The flavor profile features notes of sweet citrus fruits, blueberries and black tea.Country of origin: HondurasRegion: Santa BarbaraVariety: ParainemaProcessing method: WashedCupping score: 87 / 100Growing altitude: 1500 m a.s.l.Precision of the Process in the CupCarlos Roberto is an example of courage and consistency in action. In Honduras, a country of around 10 million people, coffee is not just a product but also a way of life. Carlos took over the plantation from his father and from the very beginning chose to focus on export rather than selling on the local market at lower prices. Thanks to many years of cooperation with the exporter San Vicente, his coffee now reaches respected roasteries in the United States and Europe. You could say it has built a bigger international career than many MBA graduates. The cherries of the Parainema botanical variety go through water selection. Those that float to the surface are unripe and do not continue to the next stage of processing. They are then fermented for 24 hours, washed, and dried for about two weeks. Precision at every stage ensures that what you taste in the cup is not chance, but a series of deliberate decisions, from the very first sip to the last drop.

A deep, intense profile with notes of maple syrup, red wine, and dried dates, a dense texture, and a long, liqueur-like finish.Today, Rwanda is one of the strongest origins in the specialty coffee world, a country built on the work of more than 400,000 small producers, where quality and transparency increasingly go hand in hand with real support for farmers.Perfect for pour-over brewing methods as well as bold, wine-like espresso.A limited lot from Nyamasheke, created for fans of intense, fermented naturals.

COFFEELAB - Decaf But Tasty Washed Espresso 250 g

Manufacturer: COFFEELAB

Roasting date: 16.02.2026

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia, roasted in Warsaw by Coffeelab. Dark roast, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. You can expect hints of almonds, amaretto and biscuits.Country: ColombiaRegion: HuilaProcessing: EA DecafAltitude: 1400 – 2000 m a.s.l.Variety: Castillo, Caturra, ColombiaABOUT COFFEEIn this edition, Decaf but Tasty! reminds us entirely of tiramisu. First, a dessert-like base of sponge fingers. Then plenty of sweetness, notes of almonds and that sweet-bitter amaretto accent. This coffee comes from Huila, Colombia, and follows a classic washed process. The beans are sourced from small-scale producers working on a few hectares each, where selective picking and controlled fermentation are the norm rather than the exception. Depulped on the day of harvest, fermented for 12–36 hours, then thoroughly washed and dried to the desired moisture level. The result is a clean, structured base that translates into clarity and balanced sweetness in espresso.Caffeine is removed using the EA (ethyl acetate) method. It is a compound that occurs naturally in fruit and as a by-product of sugar fermentation. The green coffee, already processed, is first steamed under low pressure to open up its structure. It is then placed in a water-EA solution, which binds to the caffeine molecules. The process is repeated until caffeine is no longer detectable. Finally, the coffee is steamed once more to remove any remaining traces, then dried and prepared for export. The result is a decaffeinated espresso that feels complete. Sweet, expressive and simply good.

Whole-bean specialty coffee from Kenya, roasted by Trigger roasting brand. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. The brew resembles the flavour of nectarine, blackberry, tea and chocolate.Origin: KenyaRegion: RutumaFarm: RutumaVariety: SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11Processing: Anaerobic Natural (Sleeping Bag)Altitude: 1700 - 1720 m a. s. l.Cupping score: 88 / 100 ABOUT THE FARMThe Ndurutu washing station, owned by the Rutuma Cooperative in Nyeri, has been operating for many years and serves as an important hub for local producers who deliver their coffee cherries for processing. The coffee is fermented anaerobically as whole cherries and then sun-dried using the “sleeping bag” method under carefully controlled conditions. This allows for better control of fermentation and the development of aromatic complexity.ROASTER’S OPINIONKenyan coffees processed using the sleeping bag method are still rare, which is why this lot immediately caught my attention. Whole-cherry fermentation combined with controlled drying resulted in an unusual profile that is softer than classic washed Kenyan coffees. In the cup, you’ll find notes of nectarine, blackberry, and tea, with a subtle chocolate accent in the background. The acidity is medium and well-balanced, and the overall profile is very clean and cohesive for a natural process. This coffee shows a different side of Kenya: less aggressive, more juicy and calm, yet still full of character. It performs beautifully in pour-over methods and is very rewarding on the cupping table.BREW RECIPEV60Water temperature: 95°CWater: 300 gCoffee: 21 gGrind size: 7 (Fellow Ode II)1. Bloom: 75 g water, 0:00–0:102. Pour to 150 g, 0:30–0:403. Pour to 225 g, 1:00–1:104. Pour to 300 g, 1:30–1:40All water should finish dripping through at approximately 2:10–2:20.

Founded in 2009 and supported by the government, it aims to meet the needs of Kenyan coffee growers who want greater control over marketing and their own production in order to achieve higher net profits, as well as to address the various challenges faced by the coffee sector in terms of production, quality, and marketing.ROASTER’S NOTEA very classic washed Kenya – citrus acidity reminiscent of oranges and lemons with raspberry in the background, transitioning into sweetness and a light caramel aftertaste. Perfect for everyday drinking if you enjoy washed coffees!AEROPRESS RECIPECoffee dose – 16 gWater dose – 230 gGrind size: 7.8 EK43; 22 clicks ComandantePlace one filter in the cap, screw it onto the base, and place the Aeropress on a server. (Rinsing the filter with water is not necessary.)Grind the coffee and add it to the Aeropress, leveling the bed of coffee.Pour 50 g of water in a high stream, give it a strong swirl, and wait 1 minute. At 1:00, start pouring the remaining water up to 230 g using the thickest stream possible with circular movements.Immediately remove the Aeropress from the scale, gently press the plunger about 1 cm in and break the crust by swirling the Aeropress (hold the plunger so pressure doesn’t push it out!).At 3:00, begin pressing slowly until you hear a hissing sound. This should take at least 40 seconds.
Paloma - Mexico Chabela Decaf Washed Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: PALOMA

Roasting date: 26.03.2026

Specialty-grade whole-bean coffee from Mexico, roasted by the Polish roastery Paloma. Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of dried pear and plum, crumb topping, red apple.Origin: MexicoRegion: ChiapasProcessing method: Washed decaffeinatedVariety: Bourbon, Catimor, Garnica, TypicaAltitude: 1100 - 1300 m a.s.l.Cupping score: 83 / 100ABOUT THE REGIONChabela is produced by an exporter based in the Chiapas coffee-growing region of Mexico. Established in 1980, this exporter was the first decaffeinated coffee producer in Latin America, utilizing industry-leading technology for process analysis to achieve the highest quality and bean yield. Their water extraction method achieves over 99% decaffeination. This process was patented in 1987 and received organic certification in 2003. Their business ethics are defined as a strategy where commitments and responsibilities are upheld toward key stakeholders: customers, employees, shareholders, suppliers, creditors, competitors, the local community, and government bodies.ROASTER'S OPINIONWhen you’re already jittery from caffeine but still want more, grab this coffee. It features an unconventional and highly satisfying profile—plum with cinnamon, notes of chocolate-covered cherry, and a finish that reminds you of a freshly baked cookie.V60 RECIPECoffee dose: 19gWater dose: 50g > 300gWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: 8.4 (EK43); 23 clicks (Comandante)Place the filter in the V60 and rinse it under a heavy stream of water to ensure it adheres well to the walls.Grind the coffee, pour it into the V60, and level the grounds.Pour 50g of water, aiming for any dry spots to ensure everything is thoroughly saturated. If the coffee is very fresh (foaming intensely), you can extend the bloom (pre-infusion) to 2 minutes, or perform an additional bloom at 1:00 (pour another 50g and wait until 2:00).At 1:00 (or 2:00), start pouring into the center of the V60 (using circular motions about the size of a small coin). Maintain a flow rate of 6-8g per second (slightly below the second enlarged dot on an Acaia scale) and keep the stream of water just below the point where the flow begins to break.Once you reach 250g, lower the kettle so the spout is about 3 cm above the water surface (you can stop the circular motions now) and finish pouring at 300g.Perform a "shake" by holding the base of the V60 (moving it horizontally and vertically). If the water flows through too quickly, perform a "swirl" instead.Total brew time: 2:30–3:00 (or 3:30–4:00 with an extended/additional bloom).
