This region is famous for producing coffees of exceptional quality, which is influenced by fertile soils, a tropical climate, and high-altitude plantations, often exceeding 2,000 meters above sea level. Due to the altitude of the crops, local coffees are classified as SHG (Strictly High Grown) or SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).
