Whole-bean specialty coffee beans from Ethiopia, roasted by COFFEE PLANT from Poland. Light roast, perfect for filter coffee machines, drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, and other pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of jasmine, apricot, hops and tea.Origin: EthiopiaRegion: YirgacheffeFarm: Aricha Washing StationProcessing: Fully WashedVariety: HeirloomAltitude: 1830-2040 m n.p.m.ABOUT THE REGIONThis coffee comes from the Aricha station in the Yirgacheffe district, in the Gedeo zone. The station is managed by Cherab Betesebu, and the cherries delivered to it come from around 600 local farmers cultivating coffee at altitudes reaching 2,100 meters above sea level. The combination of high altitude, fertile soils, and abundant rainfall creates conditions thanks to which Yirgacheffe has been famous for years for exceptionally valued, aromatic coffees.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGAfter harvesting, ripe cherries are carefully selected and depulped, then fermented for 36–48 hours. After fermentation, the beans are washed, sorted by density, and dried on raised African beds for 12–15 days. Regular turning and protection from intense sun and night moisture help preserve the clarity of the profile, highlighting the clear acidity and delicate florals characteristic of washed coffees from Yirgacheffe.ROASTER'S OPINIONAricha is one of the most valued stations in Yirgacheffe, and its washed lots have been recognized for years as a great example of the region's character. This coffee combines intense jasmine, sweet apricot, and an unusual, hoppy accent that adds originality and complexity. In the aroma, distinct jasmine dominates with a delicate, tea-like note. In flavor, juicy apricot appears, accompanied by a characteristic hoppy accent. As it cools, the profile becomes more tea-like. The coffee has a lively, citrus acidity, fruity sweetness, and a light body, with the overall experience complemented by a medium, slightly citrusy aftertaste.Store in a cool and dry place.

It was founded in 2011 by Ben and Kristy Carlson, who recognized both the huge potential of Burundian coffees and the challenges faced by local farmers after the privatization of the coffee sector. Their goal was to create a collaborative model that would allow farmers to produce better coffee and receive fairer compensation for it, while providing roasteries around the world with access to exceptional and fully traceable lots.Today, Long Miles works with thousands of smallholders and operates its own washing stations, including Bukeye, Heza, and Giku. Each batch of coffee can be traced not only to a specific station, but often also to the specific hill from which the cherries originate. Thanks to this, Long Miles has become one of the pioneers in building transparency and traceability of coffee origins in Burundi. The project's philosophy is based on a simple premise: good coffee starts with people. Therefore, Long Miles invests not only in infrastructure and processing quality, but also in farmer training, local community development, and long-term relationships with producers. The results are coffees that regularly make their way into the offerings of the most respected specialty roasteries in the world and have for years been building Burundi's reputation as one of Africa's most interesting origins.ROASTER'S OPINIONIf you are not drinking coffees from Burundi yet, change that. This is one of the more interesting origins we deal with during the year. A bit like Rwanda, a bit like Kenya, but most of all, it is 100% Burundi!Store in a cool, dry place.

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 12.08.2026

Specialty-grade whole-bean coffee from Colombia, roasted by the Polish roastery Hard Beans. Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of white flowers, peach, caramel and milk chocolate.Origin: ColombiaRegion: HuilaFarm: Finca Santa BárbaraProcessing method: WashedVariety: GeshaAltitude: 1950 m a.s.l.FARM AND REGIONFinca Santa Bárbara belongs to Jhon Edwin Samboní Chachón. The farm is located in Algeciras, in the department of Huila, at an altitude of approximately 1,950 meters above sea level. It covers 32 hectares, 24 of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation.Huila is one of the most important regions for specialty coffee production in Colombia. Diverse topography, high-altitude crops, and specific microclimatic conditions make it possible to obtain coffees with high sweetness, well-defined acidity, and great profile clarity. The producer specializes in high-quality coffees and controlled processing. In this case, the most important aspect is preserving the distinct character of the Gesha variety: floral notes, fruity sweetness, and a delicate brew structure.ABOUT THE VARIETYGesha is an Arabica variety valued for its high aromatic potential, particularly towards floral notes, stone fruits, and delicate, well-defined acidity. In this case, the profile leans towards white flowers, peach, caramel, and chocolate. This is a coffee where it is not about a heavy fermentation effect or excessive intensity. Profile clarity, sweetness, and the easily recognizable character of the variety are more important.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGWashed processing involves removing the skin and part of the pulp from the coffee cherry, carrying out fermentation, rinsing off the remaining pulp, and drying the beans. This process usually yields greater profile clarity than natural or honey processing. In this coffee, washed processing helps balance the acidity and better highlight the features of the Gesha variety. As a result, the brew features a floral aroma, fruity sweetness, and a chocolate-caramel base.RECIPERatio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind size: mediumBrew time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour water over the coffee in 5 equal pours (e.g., 5x 60 g) at 30-second intervals. The water should completely drain through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size to coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a dry and cool place.

Hard Beans - Kenya Mugaya AA Top Washed Filter 250 g

Manufacturer: HARD BEANS

Roasting date: 12.08.2026

Specialty-grade whole-bean coffee from Kenya, roasted by the Polish roastery Hard Beans. Light roast – perfect for pour-over brewing methods such as drip, Chemex, AeroPress, French Press, batch brewers, and other alternative methods. In the cup, you’ll find notes of citrus, red currants, black tea and honey.Origin: KenyaRegion: KirinyagaFarm: MugayaProcessing method: WashedVariety: SL28, SL34Altitude: 1700 – 1800 m a.s.l.ABOUT THE FARM AND REGIONMugaya is a washing station established in 1975, operating under the Mutira Farmers’ Cooperative Society. It is located in the Kirinyaga region, Kagumo area, at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Coffee cherries are delivered to it by over 1,700 small-scale producers who grow coffee mainly on small plots of land. The crops are situated at an altitude of approximately 1,700–1,800 meters above sea level. The region is characterized by red volcanic soils, good access to water, and conditions that favor slower ripening of the fruit. Longer ripening can support the development of sweetness, acidity, and a more complex sensory profile. This is a classic Kenyan production model: small farms, a central washing station, fruit selection, and a consistently managed process. Simple. Effective. Good.ABOUT THE VARIETYThe dominant varieties are SL28 and SL34. These are classic Kenyan Arabica varieties, valued for their high sensory potential, especially in terms of vibrant acidity, fruitiness, and the structure of the brew.Batian and Ruiru 11 may also appear in smaller quantities, which are varieties introduced, among other reasons, for the plants' greater resistance to diseases. However, the character of this coffee is primarily built by SL28 and SL34.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGAfter harvest, the coffee cherries are delivered to the station and sorted. Then, the skin and part of the pulp are removed from the fruit, and the beans undergo fermentation, washing, and drying on raised beds. In the case of Mugaya, clean water from the Rwamuthambi River is used in the process. The washed process allows for limiting the influence of the pulp on the coffee's flavor and better showcases the natural acidity, cleanliness of the aroma, and structure of the brew.RECIPERatio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of waterWater temperature: 93°CGrind: mediumBrewing time: 3:30 minutesMethod: Pour water over the coffee in 5 equal parts (e.g., 5x 60g) at 30-second intervals. The water should completely drain through the coffee between pours. If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, change the grind size to coarser/finer.Remember to use soft, filtered water!Store in a dry and cool place.
