The Arara variety also plays its part — a relatively new Brazilian varietal known for its high sweetness, full body, and fruity notes. It originated from a natural cross between Yellow Bourbon and Obata, developed by Fundação Procafé.

Alright, no “Brazil that doesn’t taste like Brazil” talk. It’s simply a wilder Brazilian. Heavier, sweeter, with a clear fermented note. In the cup you’ll find plenty of fruit, honey-like sweetness and — as you’d expect from Brazil — something in the realm of chocolate liqueur. A nice option when you feel like trying something a bit different.
