How to use
Brewing coffee with the French Press method is one of the simplest ways to achieve an intense and aromatic infusion.
1. Place the CAFFETTIERA coffee maker on a stable, flat surface.
2. Holding the handle, pull the plunger out of the carafe.
3. Add one rounded teaspoon or one Bodum scoop of coarsely ground coffee for each cup (approx. 120 ml of water).
4. Pour hot water at a temperature of 92–96°C over the coffee, leaving about 2.5 cm of empty space from the top edge of the carafe.
5. Stir gently with a wooden or plastic spoon.
6. Put the lid with the plunger on and position it so that the spout is closed – this will help maintain the right temperature of the brew.
7. Leave the coffee to brew for 4 minutes, then slowly press the plunger down.
8. Turn the lid to open the spout and pour the freshly brewed coffee into a cup.
Cleaning and maintenance:Before first use, wash all components in warm water with dish soap and dry thoroughly. All parts of the coffee maker are dishwasher safe.
