This tiny contactless digital thermometer is the perfect companion to the FlowTip Jug. Quickly monitor the temperature of your milk without having to place a probe in the milk means one less thing to clean. The device is opwered by two LR44 batteries (included).Good to know:Ensures IR thermometers measures the surface temperatures only, not the internal temperature of food or liquids or materials. Make sure you swirl or stir your milk before measuring for the most accurate reading.IR thermometers can be temporarily affected by frost, moisture, dust, fog, smoke or other particles in the air. Be aware that steam, even when a liquid is not boiling, can condense on the thermometer and affect the accuracy of the measurements.IR thermometers do not see through glass, liquids or other transparent surfaces, they measure the temperature of the first point of contact.IR thermometers have a beam and measure on a spot, make sure this is properly aimed at the surface to measure and not reflecting off other materials like the sides of jug or pot. Highly reflective surfaces like stainless steel tend to reflect ambient infrared energy rather than emit their own. So measuring boiling water in a highly polished stainless pot may give an incorrect reading. This thermometer cannot and should not be used for measuring body temperatures. Only a medical thermometer should be used for such purposes.

This syrup is a non-alcoholic base for mulled wine. The idea for it comes from Sweden, where vineyards are not as popular as they are in the south. To obtain a similar taste to mulled wine without addition of alcohol, several fruits were introduced: chokeberry, plums, oranges, all coated with winter spices. These ingredients mixed in a perfect ration give ready-to-serve mulled wine drink, but alcohol-free. Just add boiling water and stir, that is all it takes. Specialty grade coffee in capsules, originating from Ethiopia and roasted for espresso by the Hungarian roastery, Samurai Shoelace. Each pack contains 10 capsules compatible with Nespresso® machines. A very sweet and full bodied ethiopian coffee from the Yirgachefe region. The carbonic maceration process boosts the fruitiness of this incredible coffee.Did you know that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee? That is precisely why we love Ethiopian coffees – they possess a very distinct character, and beans from this region are famous for their floral-fruity, refreshing aroma. Beloya, coming from Yirgacheffe, one of Ethiopia's most renowned coffee-growing regions, is exactly like that: cultivated among high mountains, bursting with fresh, fruity flavors and floral aromas. It is a bit more unique, a bit wilder than coffee in general, but that is what makes it so exciting. This won't be just your ordinary morning coffee.Country of origin: EthiopiaRegion: YirgacheffeFarm: Beloya Washing StationAltitude: 1719 m a.s.l.Varietal: HeirloomProcess: Carbonic MacerationABOUT THE FARMTypical for Ethiopia, coffee does not come from (relatively) larger farms, but from many independent smallholders (where the smallest "farm" might just be two bushes at the end of a garden). Coffee produced this way is gathered at washing stations, where it is processed, graded, and sold, with farmers living in the vicinity bringing their harvests there. The washing station uses water from local rivers to process the coffee cherries (hence the name, as the washing process is common here). The Beloya washing station is located north of Chelelektu in the Kochere district, 45 km from the regional capital, Dilla. The facility, which has been operating for 20 years, features two processing plants and is currently being expanded and modernized.ABOUT THE PROCESSINGCarbonic Maceration (a technique also known from winemaking) is a relatively new process in the coffee world. During this process, only the highest quality cherries are placed into a sealed steel tank, and carbon dioxide (CO2) is then used to completely displace the oxygen. In this anaerobic environment, an intracellular fermentation process begins. Instead of external microorganisms and yeast initiating the breakdown, it is an enzymatic transformation of sugar within the fruit itself. As the cells begin to break down sugar in the absence of oxygen, various types of aromas and esters—and sometimes alcohols—are produced. This gives carbonic macerated coffees a very distinctive, almost fruit-candy-like flavor, while simultaneously preserving the classic aromatic characteristics of Ethiopian coffee.Store in a cold and dry space.
