Andy

How it started. After running their own successful, independent coffee bars for five years, best friends Kjell and Dave decided to take their passion a step further and begin roasting their own coffee at Blikfabriek in Hoboken. Opening their roastery in the midst of the pandemic, their initial focus was on roasting for their own coffee bars and supplying wholesale customers throughout Antwerp. Two years later, they expanded their vision by opening their flagship store at Amerikalei 82 in Antwerp, marking a new chapter in their journey. Our mission? To share this coffee revelation with a wider audience, one cup at a time.

Andy Blend Espresso is a specialty-grade whole-bean coffee combining beans from Brazil and Colombia, sourced from the Diamond and Huitaca farms. The blend of washed and natural processing results in low acidity and a very creamy, stable profile. The flavor is dominated by chocolate and nutty notes, without sharp edges or unnecessary acidity. Andy Colombia Tumbaga is a specialty-grade decaffeinated whole-bean coffee that still takes flavor very seriously. Beans from the Tumbaga farm in the Cauca region, grown at elevations of 1400–2000 m a.s.l., are decaffeinated using the sugarcane method, which preserves the coffee’s natural sweetness and structure. The profile is led by notes of caramel and dark chocolate, gently balanced with a subtle apple accent.
