ABOUT THE FARM
The Kagumoini coffee processing station operates under the Kamacharia Farmers Co-operative Society and is located in Murang'a County. This station collaborates with local farmers who put a tremendous amount of heart into growing high-quality arabica, focusing on sustainable agriculture and truly careful bean processing.
The Kagumoini cooperative itself was built on the foundations of the former Kagima cooperative, after which it was officially registered. Before becoming an independent entity, however, it was part of the larger Tetu cooperative. Since its official start, they have been doing a fantastic job for their members: offering field advice, promoting good agricultural practices, handling coffee processing and sales, and helping farmers achieve increasingly better yields with even higher bean quality.
