Moka Express Moka Pot. The one and original since 1933. An exceptional example of Art Deco design – the Moka Express moka pot has become an icon and symbol of "Made in Italy", featured in the permanent collections of the Triennale di Milano and MoMA in New York. Over the years, the Bialetti brand has refined its characteristic design while preserving the functional features that make the Moka pot unique: the octagonal aluminum water heater, a patented safety valve that is easy to inspect and clean, a filter, and the upper collector that gathers the essence of the coffee brew – rich, full-bodied, and hot.
The Bialetti Moka Express 6-cup model is designed to brew 6 espresso cups at once (approx. 250 ml). The total capacity is 300 ml.When choosing the size of the moka pot, keep in mind that with every brew, you should prepare the amount of coffee specified by the manufacturer.
Coffee to the last drop. Coffee grounds can be disposed of in accordance with local waste segregation regulations, making cleanup after brewing simple and convenient.
Easy daily care. The Moka pot is easy to clean simply by rinsing under water, in accordance with Bialetti's operation and maintenance instructions.
Timeless design. The quality of the aluminum and attention to craftsmanship make the Moka pot a product built for long-term use, maintaining its charm over the years.
How to brew coffee:
1. Fill the moka pot reservoir with room temperature water up to the safety valve level. Do not fill above this level, as this may result in weaker, over-extracted coffee.
2. Choose your favorite ground coffee blend. For best results, use a grind size designed specifically for moka pots, not too fine. Generously fill the filter funnel without pressing or tamping the coffee. For the best experience, use Perfetto Moka – Bialetti coffee created specifically for Moka pot lovers.
3. A little secret: keep the heat low and allow the coffee to brew slowly. A few extra minutes are worth the wait for a richer flavor. When you hear a gurgling sound, it means your coffee is ready. Once the coffee has completely risen into the upper chamber, remove the moka pot from the heat.
4. Now for the best part: enjoying your coffee. To fully appreciate its aroma and flavor, serve and drink it immediately after brewing.
Cleaning instructions:
After use, rinse your Bialetti Moka Express with water only. Do not use detergents or cleaning agents. The moka pot is not dishwasher safe; washing it in a dishwasher may damage the product and alter the taste of the coffee.
