Ceremonial Matcha is the finest matcha in the Matcha Bros portfolio. It captivates with its creaminess and Umami flavour.

Umami is one of the five basic tastes that humans can perceive. The word Umami comes from the Japanese language and means something delicious, tasty, exquisite. Ceremonial Matcha is the highest quality Japanese green matcha tea from the first harvest. Ideal for the matcha tea ceremony, "green espresso" - Koicha, or as an ingredient for lattes, shakes, cocktails, and other beverages. Ceremonial Matcha is characterized by a deep green color, intense tea flavor with a subtle hint of sweetness.

Matcha green tea from Japan is known for its health benefits, and here are just a few of them:

Pure, Balanced Energy: Ceremonial Matcha provides a gradual, zen-like energy boost that helps you stay mentally engaged and ready to act at any time of the day.

Calmness, Focus, and Relaxation: The L-theanine in matcha helps achieve a state of alert relaxation similar to that achieved during meditation. Centuries ago, Japanese monks turned to matcha to enhance their focus during meditation.

Faster Metabolism: The natural caffeine in matcha and the ECGC antioxidants increase metabolic rate and accelerate fat burning.

Rich Source of Antioxidants: Matcha is the richest natural source of antioxidants that slow down the aging process and contribute to preventing many serious diseases.

Boosts Immunity: Matcha strengthens the immune and immunological systems. Catechins, a major component of matcha, have antibiotic properties and strengthen the body by acting antibacterial and antiviral. One cup of tea contains significant amounts of vitamins A and C, as well as calcium, iron, and potassium.

Body Detoxification: Chlorophyll, found in matcha leaves and responsible for its intense green color, gives matcha rich detoxifying properties, cleansing our bodies of toxins.

Moya Matcha Chasen - Chasen Matcha Whisk
Traditional bamboo whisk or “chasen” is an indispensable tool of the Japanese matcha tea ceremony. The fine, handmade prongs are carved out in a single piece of bamboo. It involves using a matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk- chasen and a bamboo spoon- chashaku. Place 2 chashaku spoons of matcha (1,5g) in a matcha bowl and pour 100ml of hot water (80 °C). Chasen in hand, vigorously whisk your matcha from the wrist in m-shaped, not circular, motion. In about 20 seconds your bowl should be filled with a perfect jade-green foam.
