The portafilter basket DH by MHW-3BOMBER was carefully crafted to bring out the best in medium and dark roasted coffee beans. After extensive research and prototyping, we developed a filter basket that optimizes extraction for these richer roast levels, enhances sweetness and texture, while minimizing bitterness.

Ideal for medium and dark roasts. The DH filter basket is specifically designed to enhance the flavor profile of medium and dark roasted coffee beans. It maximizes sweetness and texture while minimizing bitterness, providing a smoother, more balanced cup.

Three hole sizes. This filter basket features three different hole sizes, optimizing the extraction process by adjusting flow rate and pressure distribution for a more even and controlled brew, ensuring better extraction and a richer aroma.

Uniform cross pattern. The carefully arranged, intersecting pattern of holes guarantees consistent pressure and flow, reduces channeling, and enables even extraction of coffee oils and flavors, elevating the overall espresso experience.

Straight-walled design with a flat, ridge-less bottom. The ridge-less, straight-walled, and flat-bottom design ensures a more even water distribution for consistent extraction. It also improves compatibility with tampers and distribution tools for a simpler, more efficient brewing process.
