ABOUT THE COFFEE

An exceptional choice for lovers of coffees with a complex and distinctive character. KYOTO Kenya Kiboko Barrel Aged is a specialty coffee from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya. After classic washed processing, the beans undergo an 8-week maturation in a barrel previously used for American bourbon.

This process gives the coffee depth, sweetness, and a subtle, refined alcoholic accent — without any actual alcohol content in the final brew.

The classic Kenyan juiciness and vibrant fruitiness are complemented by vanilla-oak sweetness and a delicate, liqueur-like depth. The result is a harmonious, multidimensional coffee with a long, elegant finish.
