Luu is an organic green tea with liquorice, lemongrass and ginger from Brown House & Tea. Green tea with a twist. We know it from various blends, but in the quartet with liquorice, lemongrass and ginger, we get a work that is different from all. Green tea is a delicacy. Liquorice - sweetness. Lemongrass - citrus refreshment. And ginger - a pinch of sharpness. Effect? A unique blend, full of character and lots of benefits for our health.
Each of the ingredients has some healthy properties. However, it is liquorice that takes the lead here. First of all, because it is a rare addition to teas. Secondly, because of how multidimensionally it affects our body, including the skin. Liquorice extract has proven anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. It perfectly copes with pain in the stomach, intestines and duodenum, has a strong diastolic effect and strengthens the immune system. Finally, it has an antiallergic effect on the skin, soothes irritations and inflammations, even those caused by sunlight.
IMPORTANT: Licorice raises blood pressure, therefore pregnant women and people with hypertension should consult a doctor before drinking this blend.
Brewing method: Pour water (220 ml) at 80°C over a teaspoon of tea and let it brew for 2-3 minutes.
