ABOUT THE FARM

Frinsa is an estate established in 2010, managed by the husband-and-wife duo Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas. It consists of six farms covering a total area of 105 hectares, along with its own washing station and a laboratory dedicated to anaerobic processing. From its inception, the farm has focused on specialty coffee. Initially, this primarily involved producing coffees using the washed process, which is rare in Indonesia. Later, experimental processes were added to their repertoire. But take note—if you have heard that Indonesian coffees have an earthy aftertaste, that may be true for others, but not for Frinsa! Earthiness is a characteristic associated with the traditional Indonesian "wet-hulled" processing, which is not used at Frinsa.

ROASTER'S OPINION

We have been buying beans from Frinsa for years. Their quality never disappoints us. Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas have perfectly mastered the anaerobic fermentation process. Their coffees always maintain the right balance between fermentation notes and sweetness. Simply put—perfection.
