This coffee comes from the Lyego Farmers’ Cooperative Society in Muranga, Kenya. The washing station is supplied by about 600 smallholder farmers. Coffee is grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,700 meters above sea level, primarily from SL28 and SL34 varieties grown in red volcanic soils. Processing is fully washed with water from the Mukungai River and dried on raised beds.
