19grams is a Berlin-based specialty coffee roastery with over 20 years of experience in sourcing, roasting, and celebrating exceptional coffee. Founded in 2002 under the name Tres Cabezas, they were among the pioneers of the specialty coffee movement in Germany, long before it became a trend.Driven by curiosity and conviction, they’ve spent years building close relationships with coffee producers around the world, from Costa Rica to Ethiopia. Every bean we roast tells a story - of origin, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of quality.
They roast exclusively Arabica coffees in small batches at our Berlin roastery, guided by a simple maxim: full flavour, clarity, and the natural sweetness of the coffee cherry. Whether it's a complex filter roast or a bold espresso, their coffees are developed with care and precision. Always with sustainability and transparency in mind.
