This coffee comes from our friends in Guatemala – brothers Raul and Jose Perez, who run the famous and highly respected Finca La Soledad, a farm we’ve had the pleasure of visiting many times.


We immediately fell in love with the place, the people, and of course, the coffee itself.



Introducing Guatemala Finca La Soledad Caturra Washed – a beautifully balanced coffee combining gentle sweetness and acidity, with flavor notes of dried fruit, milk chocolate, and cherry.

BREWING RECIPE



Ratio: 60 g of coffee per 1 liter of water


Water temperature: 93°C


Grind size: medium-coarse


Brew time: 3 minutes 30 seconds



Method: Pour the coffee in five equal parts (e.g. 5 × 60 g) at 30-second intervals.


Allow the water to fully drain through the coffee between each pour.


If the water flows too slowly or too quickly, adjust the grind size (coarser/finer).


And remember – always use soft, filtered water!
