Cafetto - EVO Espresso Machine Cleaner 1kg
EVO® Espresso Machine Cleaner. With its rapidly soluble and free-rinsing formulation, EVO® removes coffee oils, grounds and stains, improving the taste and aroma of espresso.Ingredients are rapidly biodegradable and odorless. Non-GMO and free from phosphates and chlorine. Non-corrosive formulation to protect the machine.A measuring scoop is included.PROCEDURE TO BACKFLUSH EACH DELIVERY GROUP:1. Remove coffee filter from group handle, and replace with blind filter.2. For daily cleaning add 1 level scoop of EVO® into the group handle and insert as if brewing espresso. If the machine is cleaned less often, use 2 level scoops.3. Start cycle and allow to run for 10 seconds to dissolve cleaner.4. Stop cycle and allow to sit for 10 seconds.5. Start and stop cycle 4 more times - run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.6. Remove the group handle and rinse well under stream of water from delivery group. Turn off.7. Re-insert handle with blind filter, start and stop cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure thorough rinsing.8. Remove blind filter and insert regular filter.9. Brew and discard a single espresso to re-season machine.PROCEDURE TO CLEAN FILTERS AND GROUP HANDLES:1. Soak group handles and filters in 500mL of hot water with 2 level scoops of EVO® Espresso Machine Cleaner for 10 minutes.2. Rinse thoroughly in running hot water.

Cafetto LOD® Green liquid descaler. Recommended for removing hard water scale from espresso machine boilers, coffee and milk delivery lines.Made with a formulation of organic acids which are naturally occurring compounds produced by fermentation of simple sugars. Certified for organic use. All ingredients are all rapidly biodegradable meeting international standards. Free from phosphate and Genetically Modified Organisms.Directions1. Ensure the white cap is tightly sealed and slightly loosen the green cap. Gently squeeze the bottle until reservoir measures 100ml, remove the green cap and pour from reservoir.2. Add 500ml cold water to prepare descaling solution.3. Follow the machine manufacturer’s instructions to decalcify, de-lime or descale the machine.4. Add contents of sachet to 1L of warm water, dissolve, and then pour into water tank.2. Remove filter holder and turn machine on.3. Place cup under brew spout and run out about 1 cup of the descaling solution. Run about a ¼ cup out through the steam arm. (For fully automatic machines run all the solution through the steam wand and set on hot water not the steam setting).4. Allow to stand for 15 minutes, and then repeat the process. Repeat the entire process until all the solution is used up.5. Rinse thoroughly by flushing one tank of clean fresh water through the system exiting through the brew head and the steam wand.For Kettles1. Fill kettle 3/4 full of potable water.2. Add 1 sachet (25g) Renew Descaler.3. Boil the kettle.4. Discard boiled solution.5. Rinse and boil again with fresh water.Recommended for Fellow Kettles, Brewista, Bonavita.For Coffee Brewers1.
