The word Chai simply means Tea, but around the world it has become synonymous with this deliciously spiced Indian beverage. Ours is a blend of black tea, clove, ginger pieces, coriander seeds, and cinnamon. For a traditional preparation brew a strong tea, add hot milk and sweeten with sugar or condensed milk.
AROMA
Balanced notes of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
APPEARANCE
Blend of broken black tea leaves (BOP) and spices. Intense deep red liquor.
TASTE
On the surface it could appear as an excessively rich and dense blend, but in fact the flavors come through clear and crisp. The spices do not create a cacophony of flavors, but coexist harmoniously with one another.
Brewing method: Pour water (250 ml) at 95 °C over a teaspon of tea and let it brew for 3 minutes.
