Ike is an unusual mix of genmaicha and matcha. Green tea with roasted rice, or genmaicha, is a very popular drink in Japan. This genmaicha was created from green tea growing on the volcanic island of Jeju, in the Jangwon bio garden in South Korea. The organic brown rice has only been slightly roasted to avoid the burnt aromas in the brew. Matcha has enriched the flavour of green tea and its health benefits. All ingredients can be clearly tasted and harmonize perfectly with each other.
Brewing method: Pour water (220 ml) at 80°C over a teaspoon of tea and let it brew for 1-3 minutes.
