PROCESSING

Ethiopian natural. And you could write no more, cause it speaks for itself. High sweetness and a floral burst in your face, as if you were catching a bridal bouquet!

THE FARM

Coffee growing in Ethiopia is peculiar, and we're betting a bag of geisha against a bag of acorns that all the Ethiopian coffee you've sipped so far has been harvested by multiple small producers, then blended and processed together. Dimtu Tero is no different, with 136 other farmers providing fresh fruit for processing in addition to the principal himself. What's also interesting is that the entire harvest area is simply... a forest!

ROASTER'S COMMENT

Well-processed naturals from Ethiopia are some of my favorite coffees. If you're of the "naturals are crap because they're dirty, and in general, the acidity is also not complex enough for my sublime sensory apparatus" team then hit that button on your machine and get back out of this 2013 already! Admittedly you will encounter a pandemic, but don't worry, it's almost over, right? And have that sip of Dimtu, amigo!

PACKAGING

The coffee is packed in a brown jar made of PET, 100% recyclable or reusable. In case you're thinking "oh no, plastic!", bear in mind that standard coffee packaging is also made of plastic (and a few other materials, making it often harder to recycle). We also thought about glass, but it's heavier, more expensive, breakable and, wait for it, has the same or greater (sic!) environmental impact! A plastic jar turns out to be pretty eco-friendly, just remember to put it in the right container, or find a creative way to reuse it at home.
